Chapter 167 - Xiong Jun Breaks In on the Scene

"Clatter—"

"Puff—"

At Emerald Lake, a wooden plank on the roof of the small cabin had been loosened by the "activity" that took place inside the previous night.

When the morning breeze blew gently across it, the plank slid off the edge of the eaves, fell to the ground, and bounced into the lake with a splash.

Outside the cabin, the soul beasts had not slept the entire night. Among them were the clansmen of the Emerald Swan, and even the jade-green birds chirped non-stop:

"All night! The house moved all night! Why did it stop now? Did the clan leader break? Or did that human boy break down?"

Little jade-green loaches burrowed into the soft grass near the lake shore, twisting their slippery bodies as if saying: "Little loach going into its hole~"

Inside the cabin, two delicate bodies were covered by a pair of soft, wide emerald wings.

Bi Ji's hair was a mess; her long, lush green hair spread across half the bed. Her slender figure formed graceful curves beneath the emerald wings.

Beneath the wings, two smooth and slender legs were tightly wrapped around Su Qingfeng's waist, refusing to let go.

Su Qingfeng opened his eyes groggily, still feeling as though something was tightly binding him, and felt like crying without tears.

"Can you let me go now?"

He opened his starlit eyes drowsily and spoke.

"It seems… I can't…"

Bi Ji's face flushed a deep red.

And then, she felt something unusual.

Morning had arrived — and along with it, the young man's normal morning reaction.

"I'm sorry, our Emerald Swans are just like this. Just like a tiger's tongue has backward barbs — if we don't completely relax, we can't let go once we bite down. Really, I'm so sorry…"

Bi Ji's tone was already slightly breathless. She could feel her lower abdomen swelling; she had taken in so much of something she had never experienced before.

The energy gathered from those countless waves was something her small belly could hardly bear.

Su Qingfeng's voice carried an odd weakness, as if his whole being was floating in midair.

In his spiritual sea, the main body of the Earth Dragon Golden Melon had thinned down by two whole circles. Once radiant, golden, and full, its body now appeared a little yellowed and shriveled:

"Respected Star Lord! Women can only hinder your cultivation and disturb your will! If this continues, Gua Gua is going to collapse! Star Lord, run! Hold firm — Gua Gua is exhausted!"

"You think I don't want to run? My strength won't allow it! One day, when I become the Supreme, strong and unyielding, fearless before a thousand women — then watch how I teach them a lesson! I'll repay them in kind for what they did to me!"

Su Qingfeng wanted to cry but had no tears.

In his spiritual sea, Snow Empress and Ice Empress's peerless faces were full of frustration and jealousy. If one looked closely, even their souls seemed faintly flushed.

What? Even souls can blush?

"Star Lord, this is unfair! We've devoted all our power to you, and we can't even get a kiss! Meanwhile, those scheming, manipulative soul beasts always find a way to take advantage of you — it's just not fair!"

Morning came again, and another eruption of the Emerald Swan shook the cabin. In the spiritual sea, Snow Empress and Ice Empress also began to make demands:

"We don't care! Whatever you give them, you must give us as well in the future! Otherwise, we won't agree! Don't forget, Star Lord — when we offered ourselves in sacrifice, our Soul Bones remained with us.

"If you want to gather all major elemental Soul Bones and absorb them all at once, the Ultimate Ice Soul Bone is still with us! We dare say — there's probably no Ice-attributed Soul Bone on the entire continent that surpasses ours in quality!"

Ice Empress and Snow Empress still held their trump card!

They were both jealous of Zi Ji, Bi Ji, Ye Xishui, and Feng Ling — the more they thought about it, the more they regretted that, back then, when they were drawn to Su Qingfeng's talent and potential, they had offered themselves up completely. Why hadn't they thought to forcibly "keep" him instead?

Actually, this was understandable — they were both Ice-attributed soul beasts. Snow Empress was born of heaven and earth itself, naturally emotionless and without physical desire. For her, closeness like hugging, holding hands, or a gentle kiss was already the peak of intimacy — anything beyond that was unimaginable.

As for Ice Empress, she had always liked Snow Empress — a female-to-female affection — and had never considered being with a male. Though she was impressed and captivated by Su Qingfeng, her thoughts had never gone that far.

Thus, the two of them could only become loyal spectators of Su Qingfeng's "action scenes," sour to their very cores.

Crimson King: "Damn it, I don't even dare to say a word."

———

Meanwhile, in the dense forest outside Emerald Lake, several of the ferocious beasts from the Great Desolate Land had arrived one after another, summoned by Qiu'er and the Ten Thousand Demon King.

Yaoling and Beast God Di Tian had also awakened from slumber and were slowly heading toward Emerald Lake. Along the way, Qiu'er whispered in their ears about how handsome Su Qingfeng was — that he would definitely become a supreme powerhouse in the future.

Di Tian, proud as ever, was dismissive of her words. A mere human boy — how strong could he possibly be?The Auspicious Beast must have been too naïve, deceived by that cunning human who sought her powerful divine beast bloodline — one that could even accelerate cultivation speed!

Yaoling laughed hoarsely, "Jie jie~ Lord Beast God speaks true!"

The earth suddenly trembled violently. The ancient trees of the Great Desolate Land split apart from the impact, and a fierce wind swept through, blowing the Ten Thousand Demon King's long hair into disarray.

A colossal figure was charging through the air — its aura surpassing even that of the Three-Headed Crimson Demon Mastiff or Bi Ji.

Its massive body stood fifteen meters tall, covered in thick dark-golden fur. Its arms were extraordinarily long, hanging down at its sides, their length exceeding even its knees — each arm over ten meters long and incredibly muscular.

Most striking were its shoulders, bulging like twin hills of muscle, as it let out a wild, triumphant laugh:

"Heh heh! Di Tian, I beat you here! Wanna see who gets to Emerald Lake first? No? Thought so!"

With a sharp whoosh, Xiong Jun disappeared into the morning light.

Di Tian was speechless.

Yaoling said nothing.

The Ten Thousand Demon King's expression darkened with black lines.

Childish! Not the slightest maturity or dignity befitting a top-tier soul beast!Who would want to race with you?If you win, you gloat; if you lose, you go berserk!

Xiong Jun was the fastest charger among the Ten Great Ferocious Beasts and infamous for his violent temper. As the Dark-Gold Dreadclaw Bear King, his cultivation had reached over 400,000 years. In terms of soul power, he was equivalent to a Rank 97 or 98 Titled Douluo, and with his formidable bloodline, even a level 98 Douluo might not be his match.

Though ranked sixth among the Ten Great Ferocious Beasts, his true combat power could rank fourth — even the Ten Thousand Demon King might not defeat him.

Xiong Jun possessed an attribute close to Extreme Metal, making his defense and attack among the highest on the continent.

The poison vines and plant-type soul beasts that the Ten Thousand Demon King had arranged could not stop him at all. He didn't bother taking the safe route — or rather, he disdained to — and simply bulldozed through everything in his path.

The toxins left faint marks on his fur but couldn't penetrate his body, quickly being neutralized by his immense vitality.

Xiong Jun's massive figure arrived first, floating above Emerald Lake. He snorted coldly:

"Where are they? Su Qingfeng? Bi Ji? If you, boy, aren't as good as the Auspicious Beast said, I'll tear you to pieces!"

He looked around and saw only a group of little green creatures playing in the lake, enviously gazing toward a small cabin in the water.

When Xiong Jun focused on the cabin, he noticed it was shaking rhythmically — trembling repeatedly, at a steady pace.

His powerful perception caught the subtle, heated sounds coming from within.

Instantly, he flew into a rage and smashed his palm down on the cabin in the middle of the lake:

"Bi Ji! I recognize your voice! What are you doing in there? Cheating?!"
