Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: System Silence

by IMERPUS RELUR

There was no path this time.

No door.

No mirror.

No gate.

Only silence.

The kind of silence that comes after a scream.

[System Status: NULL]

[YOU ARE NO LONGER A USER.]

IMER stood at the edge of the plateau — where sky met broken code.

Behind him, the seven sins lay rewritten.

Each a scar.

Each a victory.

But now... nothing answered.

No mission.

No quest.

No reward.

---

He opened his hand.

Where once there were stats, there was now... warmth.

A heartbeat.

His own.

Not powered.

Not coded.

Alive.

Then he heard it — a flicker in the air.

A message, not from the system…

But from the space it tried to erase:

> "If the system is gone… who writes the next story?"

IMER smiled.

He had a choice.

Walk away.

Rest.

Live.

Or…

Begin again.

He reached into the void.

Not to follow code.

But to create one.

And the air bent.

Reality reloaded.

[First Entry Logged: Chapter 0 Begins Now.]

The sins were no longer enemies.

They were foundations.

And IMER?

He was now beyond chosen.

He was the glitch the system could never classify.
