Chapter 10 - The Breaking Point

"It wasn't your religion that broke me, Mohsin…

It was your lie."

The truth came crashing down by accident.

A friend forwarded her a story from Instagram —

a birthday post tagged "Mohsin Khan" with his photo.

Same face.

Same smile.

But a name that shattered her world.

She felt dizzy. Called him.

> "Tumhara naam Rishi nahi hai?"

Silence.

"Mohsin ho tum, na?"

Silence again.

Then he whispered:

> "Avni… I didn't want to lose you."

"You already did."

She cried that night.

Not because he was Muslim.

But because the boy she loved… was built on a lie.
