Zeenare slowly glided off the bed and walked towards the window. Then turned to Rhea, who was still shaking.
"We'd see again, pumpkin."
Then he leaped off the window.
"Oh my God, noooo!" Rhea screamed, running towards the window frame, her heart on the floor, looking down the three-story building.
But found nothing. Not a scene, not a scream.
It was as if he never jumped.
He was gone like the wind.
And Rhea was confused and shaking, by that sudden act.
Rhea, snatched the bathrobe behind her door, and dashed out of her apartment. Her phone on her face as she input 9-1-1, frantically dialing the last floor button of the elevator.
What was he thinking? Why'd he jump?
"Could this thing go anymore quicker!" She lashed out in frustration.
Pacing the elevator, as it felt longer to get to the last floor then before.
Please, please, nothing should happen to him. She prayed.
But how can that be possible, that nothing would happen to him? He had leaped from the fourth floor.
