"It's good you didn't come near me," she said, her voice hoarse. "It would have affected you too."
"What are you saying?" He fell to one knee before her, took her hands into his, his eyes not leaving hers. "If I had known it would be like this, I would have made it public."
Though they won't know we are doing this because of the curse, they would certainly believe we are dating, he reasoned.
"No. That would affect your job," Rhea interjected. "And besides, students and their teachers can't have a thing together."
"I thought I'd told you this before: I don't care about that." He sighed heavily, resting his head on her hands, then looked back at her, cupping her face. "If it would take away this feeling you are having right now, I would do anything, even if it means wiping them all out."
