…
Many of my longtime readers probably know I previously wrote Hogwarts: The Grey Wizard. So, before picking up the quill for this one, I set a clear rule for myself: this story had to be different.
For The Grey Wizard, I built the story around the idea of "wizards as godlike beings" and "magic that feels truly magical, with a story to match."
For this book, Hogwarts' Loafer Professor, I chose a different angle: "magic as the ultimate romantic essence of fairy tales."
Of course, these are just thematic frameworks. I'm not saying magic literally comes from fairy tales or that dark magical creatures stem from twisted fairy-tale lore. Instead, it's about approaching magic from this perspective to make its wonder more accessible and enchanting.
Magic shouldn't just be about hurling giant fireballs or epic battles with clashing plasma beams. In the wizarding world, magic should permeate every aspect of life, woven into every little detail.
The "fairy tale" angle is a crutch for our protagonist to step into the magical world—not a quest to trace magic's origins.
It's like the old philosophers said: the world shifts with the heart. If we embrace beauty, life becomes beautiful. When we approach this magical world with the spirit of a fairy-tale adventure, it brims with wonder and fantasy.
I hope you all enjoy seeing the wizarding world unfold through Lockhart's fairy-tale lens.

That's about it! I'll do my best to craft this story with care.
Once again, thank you all for your incredible support.
Gratitude!
