Chapter 32 - Chapter 31 Awakening.

Auden watched as the bucket was slowly filled with venom. The size of the Basilisk allowed it to hold litres of venom within itself without any problem. Auden watched as the bucket was almost filled. He then took out his wand and closed the wound with a simple flame spell.

'Need to look into a few healing spells later on,' he thought as he checked the sword and found that it had a slightly green sheen on top of the silver blade. The next moment, it shone for a second and turned back into its original colour.

But Auden knew that the sword now contained one of the most potent poisons in the whole world. A single scratch could end a person's life unless they had a ready-made phoenix nearby.

Auden had looked at other sources for the antidote of the poison but found that it was best to create another phoenix rather than search for those ingredients, which seemed extinct and even mythical to the fantastical magical world itself.

He then put away the fang he had taken from the Basilisk. He was planning on passing it to Harry later on, as he was sure Harry or his friends wouldn't be able to master the Fiendfyre Curse by the time of the battle against Voldemort.

Another thing Auden was able to find out was the normal level of wizards in this world. It was no wonder that Harry kept spamming the same Expelliarmus spell again and again. Wizards at that age were actually low-level fighters. The Golden Trio could be considered slightly better levelled, but an experienced auror or death eater could easily kill them if they were not protected by Harry's invincibility due to the prophecy.

Some would argue, and even Auden would agree, that Hermione and the other two were a bit more skilled than normal. But even then, they were weak. Barty Crouch Jr., who infiltrated Hogwarts, had told the students that their Killing Curse would at most create a nosebleed in an adult wizard. The same went for every other spell these wizards used.

So the only way Harry could become strong was to focus on a single spell and keep strengthening it again and again. So he chose Expelliarmus, the spell he could use on both adults and enemies, as well as allies if needed. It did not matter if he had the skill to master the Patronus, which was difficult even for adults. The power level behind the spell was even more important than the complexity in most cases.

So Harry Potter and the other two wouldn't be able to learn Fiendfyre easily. And even if they did, it would be like when Malfoy's underlings torched the Room of Requirement and destroyed it completely. If it had been in any other part of the castle, it would have destroyed the entire castle. In that timeline, the Room of Requirement must have destroyed itself trying to protect the students from the terrible spell.

'Can't believe the weakest and most pathetic dark wizard in wizarding world history led to the destruction of the artifacts of the four founders, along with many other great things that were in this castle,' Auden thought as he put the fang away for now.

He then picked up the Sword of Gryffindor again and brought out the chess piece of a lion from his ring. The piece was the same size as a horse piece and seemed to be made of transparent ruby.

As soon as he brought the piece near the sword, both of them started to react in different ways. The piece seemed to shine a bit more, while the sword trembled slightly in his hand.

Noticing what Auden was about to do, Helena decided to instruct him properly on the next steps.

"The sword and the piece recognise each other right now, so the only thing you need to do is find a small spike that grew near the handle and cut your finger on it. After it recognises your blood, it will show you the next steps you have to take."

Auden looked closely at the sword and found that there was a new spike-like structure near the handle that had not been there before. He pressed his thumb on the spike and felt it begin to absorb his blood. Then the sword stopped trembling completely.

The next second, a segment of the sword's guard started opening up. Looking into it, Auden found a shape that seemed to be made for the piece he was holding in his hand. He brought the piece and pressed it inside the sword. In the next moment, the sword closed the opening it had created, with the chess piece now present within it.

It then began to shake and suddenly flew out of his hand, floating to the centre of the Chamber of Secrets.

"It is supposed to be like that, right?" Auden asked Helena.

"Dad can be a bit dramatic, I suppose, but thinking back, the others might also have done something similar to their own artifacts," Helena replied dryly as she watched the sword start to rotate slowly while giving out a red shine.

'Why the hell does a sealing spell have to be so dramatic?' Helena felt like crawling into a hole.

The red light from the sword began to spread until it completely covered the entire chamber. Auden was glad he did this in the chamber, as the light was too intense not to attract attention outside.

As the three in the chamber watched, the light slowly started receding until finally two things were left at the centre of the chamber. One was the Sword of Gryffindor, still floating as if waiting for someone to take it from the air. The other was a spirit, though unlike the spirits he had seen until now, this one had soft red robes covering him from head to toe.

The man looked aged but graceful. Looking at him reminded Auden of those muscled old men in their sixties who looked like they were forty.

As he watched, the man opened his eyes.

A/N- hope you like it.
