Chapter 50 - Chapter 49 The Bully Problem.

Luna was walking through the corridors wearing the new shoes that she got as a gift from Auden. She knew that he was worried about her being bullied but had not acted because she had asked him not to do anything.

She knew he had the ability to protect her, but she felt it was better for her friend to not do anything that might put him in the crossfire. Plus, Luna knew Auden would go a bit too far if he acted as she knew he was a guy who was a bit reckless when he is angry.

Luna looked at the shoes one more time, she can see some sort of glowing creatures stuck to it, but she had no idea what they are doing around it, but she had seen similar creatures around her father's artifacts all the time.

As she was walking while looking at her shoes, a pair of legs came from the corridor, tripping her to the ground. She managed to cushion her fall while carefully bending her arms, but her palm still got scrapped on the rough floor.

"Oh, what do we have here, is that a new shoes I see. Did you not fish out your old ones from the toilet last time" a girl teased while having a sneer on her face.

"Why, I thought you had some sort of squiggly friends that can help you out or was those invisible creatures afraid of some toilet water" Another commented from the side.

Luna recognised the girl along with the two others that came with her, they were the ones who took her shoes last time during the quidditch match when Auden had entered the castle to look for her.

And just like last time, the three of them pried off Luna's shoes.

Luna tried to protest, as it was a gift from her dear friend, but she was helpless as the girls bullying her were two years older than her. As Luna was waiting for them to throw away her shoes, something unexpected happened.

The runes in the shoes started to brighten up suddenly and the three girls suddenly felt something enter their bodies. For a moment they were shocked as they never thought the shoes were enchanted and within a few seconds, they realised what the enchantments did.

One of them started to grow whiskers on her face and fur on her hands, the other started to develop scales and the last one started to grow feathers all around her body.

For a moment there was a silence as the girls took in what was happening to their body. The next instant.

"""AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH""" a shrill scream spread out across the corridor as they began running towards Madam Pomphrey's room.

Luna watched wide eyed as everything happened in front of her. She slowly got up from the floor, patted her clothes and carefully went near the shoes that were thrown away by the girls before they ran away.

Looking closely, she realised that the glowing creatures from the shoes had vanished, signifying that whatever the shoe did to the girls had emptied the power that was present within it.

As she put on the shoes, a voice came from behind her making her turn around, as she did, she came face to face with a spirit that was glowing in light blue color.

"Well, aren't you interesting little one. Your eyes seem to be very special" Rowena commented as she met the friend of her child.

============================================================

"Try not to do such things again?" Pomphrey commented while sighing as Auden exited the room with a smile.

He was called to explain the spells that were cast onto the shoes that Luna wore. Seeing the physical transformations taken by the girls, Pomphrey thought it was better to find the source of the spell rather than wasting time to experiment on many other transformation spells.

Auden had no problem in telling her the correct spells as he had successfully completed what he had set out to do with the enchantments in the shoes. Now no student will bully Luna in any manner as they will be worried about the counter curse they will face if they do so.

"Auden my man, a certain bird told us about what you did" Fred who suddenly appeared commented with a smile.

"Not specifically something we might do but still was impressive" George commented from the other side.

"Its nice to see you two as well" Auden replied as he took out the two firecrackers they had fitted in his back. From what he can see, they were automatically made to activate after some time.

The two brothers looked away and started whistling at their failed attempt to prank one of the smartest individuals of their school.

Auden chuckled at their attempt as he found it amusing. He used his ears to check whether anyone was near the hallway they were standing on. Finding out that no one was present, he took out the marauder's map and passed it onto George who checked the map to see whether it was genuine.

But while checking it, he noticed something that made him exclaim in surprise. While checking their current location on the map, George was only able to see two names written in the map.

Fred, seeing how his brother was surprised, decided to see what had made him so frightful. And saw the map missing a name that was supposed to be there.

Slightly shaking, both of their heads turned methodically towards Auden once again, only to find out that he had disappeared. For a moment, silence remained in the corridor with both of them having no idea about what had happened.

And the next moment, their shoulders were clasped by a bony hand making them turn around to face a skeleton wearing a Hogwarts uniform.

"Looking for someone?" The skull asked with something similar to a smile created by the bending of the jaw bones themselves.

""AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH"" the two screamed as they ran away, leaving Auden and Peeves who were laughing out loud due to the success of the prank they embarked upon just moments ago.

A/N- hope you like it.
