Akashi was sitting on a pile of about ten humans, next to a warehouse full of robots. After leaving Amon, he had gone to complete a side quest, and he found some happy equalists dating each other here. Needless to say, they looked beautiful together, too beautiful not to get their asses kicked.
'We could have been allies, I know that already. But if I do, I won't be able to get experience points from you. Anyways, I threw three back-stabs in Amon's way. One of them is enough to end his ambition. And the other one is enough for me to screw the Earth Queen while she screws Amon.'
Akashi could have attacked Amon back then and tried his best. He could have had a better and higher chance if he had used the 5 last attribute points on vitality.
But that seemed like a shame to use these points. Because getting those points was too difficult now that he was at a high level.
It's like having 10 yuan in your pocket, and you think about whether to buy the treat you need or keep the money to buy food that would last longer.
Akashi had decided to take an easier option, which was to level up using the whole army of the anti-benders.
This strategy would be too crazy since it would drain too much stamina and could leave him beatable by a common human. But the system had a perk, and it was peak HP, Stamina, and Chi when leveling up. So, this option seemed to be the best one yet.
He'd gain better build and then get back to face Amon.
[You leveled up]
Akashi ignored the notification.
The equalists, who had been around the yard and next to a very large warehouse, looked at Akashi dumbfounded.
"I'm giving you a chance to use your weapons." Akashi slowly said to them in a mocking tone. He stood off and walked to the warehouse, facing a large army of mecha-suits, robots that they could wear as weapons.
Truth be told, Akashi wasn't getting arrogant. He had calculated that if he fought against them as they were, he wouldn't gain that much experience. That's the reality. Most of them were common humans, and not all of them were chi-blockers or exceptional fighters. But all of them had training to use the robots and the weapons that Hiroshi had invented. So, if they got inside the robots and got defeated by him, they would yield a lot of experience points, which would make the leveling-up process faster.
And since they were numerous, they would present bonus experience points. If he remembered from canon, they were difficult opponents for the best benders in the world, and defeating them wouldn't be easy. These mecha-suits were made of pure heavy metal, so the winds shouldn't do a thing against them, nor metalbenders could counter them.
But what about the sound? Akashi had gotten his wavesbending up by two levels, and he could manipulate the frequency with better accuracy.
'They have radios inside their suits to take orders and communicate, not to mention, some sound wave frequencies could cause the machine to overheat.' Akashi shook his head with a mocking smirk. "No. Even without sound, it's easy to beat them. They do not have oxygen tanks inside, so by bending poisonous or sleeping gas, it's easy to take them down."
Akashi's brain started analyzing the robots made by Hiroshi, trying to get a better understanding of their weaknesses.
Even though this world has its advantages, like robots, Akashi had a better understanding of their anatomy than anyone, thanks to his previous life's memories. Not to mention that he had better education than most people here, and had read more sci-fi than them.
One by one, the anti-benders jumped to their mecha suits.
Akashi yawned as they began activating their robots. He was waiting for the system to boot.
'Remind me of a PS2 loading screen.' He thought.
"Sergeant Akashi! It's your mistake to allow us to get into the mecha-suits." Said one of them. "But as a thanks, I'll break your bones so fast that you won't feel pain."
The others joined, making the arms of the robots spin in the air, as if showing dominance and confidence in their winning.
Why wouldn't they get too confident? After all, these robots were designed to allow them to deal with many benders at once. Not to mention that there were hundreds of them, and there was one bender to face them.
The one who spoke got too confident. A more than 2.5-meter-tall robot walked to Akashi, who raised his hand.
As a level 22 airbender, he was way more proficient with airbending. Not only could he bend with less movement, but he had higher control over airbending aspects.
One of the things he had better control over was creating a vacuum. And as he had a better air sensitivity now, he could tell where the air was entering through the robot and to the chamber where the driver was in.
"It takes ten seconds to beat you," Akashi raised his hand and flicked his finger.
As he did, a vacuum core formed around the air passages.
The man inside choked for a while before losing consciousness.
[+8000 experience points]
Akashi opened his eyes widely, feeling he had heard wrong. One of these trashy robots worth eight thousand experience points? But as he had thought about it again, it made sense to him. In fact, it's not that much. If he remembered correctly, these robots were good enough to defeat a group of benders and were hard to deal with. They should at least be worth 10,000.
"Not like I can complain." Akashi tapped the robot and let the air enter again. The man inside was still alive and breathing, just unconscious from the lack of oxygen. Had these been a group of criminals, a triad, or royal guards, Akashi would have killed them on the spot and without an ounce of mercy. But these were honest working people who had been manipulated. Just kicking their asses and a couple of weeks in prison would be enough.
Couple of wires extended to his sides from the other robots, trying to stick to him and hold him in place. Akashi could feel the electricity in them and it could knock him out.
'What's this? Gekkos from Metal Gear Rising?'
He tilted back and back-flipped in the air, dodging them gracefully as the wires passed between his armpits, legs, and arms and torso. But none could touch him.
Those agility points and that airbending training at the temple weren't just for show.
The wires caught other robots, blue sparks dancing on them and attacking their friends, destroying the robots.
'No good cooling system.' Akashi shook his head. It seemed that these robots weren't designed to block each other. Even though Hiroshi was ahead of his time, he still was in the early stages and had yet to think about a few things.
[+5000 exp]
[+6000 exp]
[+3000 bonus]
[+5000 bonus]
'Less experience points because they helped me.'
Akashi clicked his tongue and pouted in frustration. He wanted to have all of the experience for himself. Well, they were of no use to anyone but himself. But he couldn't complain, nor could he use the Rasengan technique massively as it drained a lot of energy. Even though it was lethal, the heavy metal could block the sharp wind and absorb the shockwave. Though a few would die, it wouldn't cause as much damage as he would hope.
"Give up, airbender."
"You're surrounded."
"And soon, you'll be tired."
The robots spoke, or rather, the people in them did.
Clang
"Everything is closed. You have no way to escape now." Said one leading robot. As Akashi looked at him, he saw him pulling a trigger. The doors and the windows got covered by a metallic barrier.
With one hundred or more robots surrounding him, no, it's even more, they seemed to have the best chance to win.
Even with Akashi's super speed, he wouldn't be able to escape. In this closed environment, Akashi didn't have any advantage. He'd soon be drained of energy and lose. He could never escape from them.
So they believed.
Akashi paused, looking at them in disbelief. After a few seconds, a wide smile stretched across his face, and a few tears streamed down.
"Hehehehe! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Akashi laughed out loud. In his whole life, he never had a good laugh like this.
He was just thinking of a way to beat them all in one go. And they had provided it to him on a silver platter. They closed the doors that allowed them to breathe.
The advancing robots ignored his laugh and continued their advancement.
Akashi stopped laughing, and a stiff expression took over his face.
"You got one thing wrong. I'm not the one trapped with you. You are the ones who are trapped with me," Akashi said, before a wide smile stretched across his face.
As you know, his sensitivity to air got better with each level, and he could proudly say that he's a very advanced master airbender.
With this environment being so closed, he could block air from entering and take the one that was here out, and they wouldn't be able to breathe.
Such a strategy, even in a more open environment, allowed a certain monk to defeat a whole unit of firebenders with their powers being boosted by Sozin's comet. And those firebenders with Sozin's comet were way more powerful than those robots, and anyone of them could fry this room with fire.
Akashi sighed. Just hundreds of a very strong robots would be defeated like that. Akashi vanished from his spot as a few tens of wires appeared heading to him. He looked left and right, took a deep breath and held it. He then moved at a near sonic level speed, heading toward where the air could enter, and creating vacuum cores there, controlling them to suck the air out. He sustained them with nothing but sheer mental force.
And as soon as Akashi finished, he appeared sticking to the roof, looking down at the robots that started to look for him. The oxygen was getting less as he held his breath.
'Thank you, friends, for donating experience points to me. I promise I'll liberate you from the bloodbender.' He thought.

At the same time, the police chief, the Avatar, and other forces of the city were standing behind a specialist. All of them were looking at a specific radar that was locating a special radio wave.
"So, that little green dot is the base of the equalists," Korra asked, her eyes firm. "I'm gonna get them."
She then walked out of the airship, her eyes glowing blue, before jumping.
