Chapter 2 - Rain on Neptune

Purple snow fell across the surface of Neptune.

Not some Instagram romance, more like acid on steroids melting through bone.

Three soldiers stood there: Steven, Kiara, and Taze.

The most unbalanced frontline in the galaxy, one was insane, one dripping with sex appeal, and one barely opened his mouth.

Steven stomped down with full force on an ice beast's skull.

"If this is alien evolution, please let me die dumb."

Behind him, Kiara leapt forward like a killer ballerina.

Laser swords in both hands, her body twisting like fire salsa, slicing a creature in two while wearing a dangerous smile.

"Keep watching with those pretty eyes, Stevie. You might learn how to kill with style."

"Your chest kills more than your blades, babe."

"Oh, I know."

She was bleeding a little, licking a drop off her finger.

Like a fashion show in hell.

Next to them, Taze.

Silent. Precise.

He kicked a two-meter-tall monster, exploding its head like a watermelon.

Then he choked another with his sleeve.

And went quiet again.

Inside the ship — ALKEN command center.

Kimberly's eyes were burning through the screens, fingers flying across the keyboard.

"They don't stop... They just keep standing up. Every part of them, like... It's alive on its own."

Anna joined her, analyzing the graphs.

"This isn't normal death. It's instant adaptation."

She hit the comm:

"Londo, we need a new plan. This isn't a battle, it's a trap."

Command bridge — Londo stared at the screens, lips tight.

Beside him, Lana was breathing heavily, fingers hovering above the controls.

Londo whispered,

"I'm talking to Leonardo."

Earth — Office of Leonardo Ceccoli.

The screen showed Neptune. Leonardo stood in a dark suit, cigar in hand.

"Caitlyn!"

The door flew open, heels cracking the floor.

Caitlyn Theresa — dressed in a tight purple dress, cleavage meant for homicide, violet bun, blood-red lipstick.

Every step, a fetish scene.

"What's wrong, honey?"

"Access intel. Now."

She stepped closer, finger on the holo-screen.

"Only if you ask nicely, babe." A wink. A kiss blown in the air.

"Caitlyn, stop with the games! Now!"

"Damn. Someone's getting hot."

She touched a button.

"There. You asked. Next time, with a smile, yeah?"

Back on Neptune, the fight got worse.

Kiara dashed between creatures, flew through the air, and sand liced a two-story monster in the face.

Suddenly, a bite.

A creature jumped at her from behind and sank teeth into her right arm.

"Fuuuuck!!" she screamed, falling.

The beast moved in for the kill, then Taze's boot crushed its head into the ice.

"You good?"

"Do I look good? I'm gonna need a two-month shower!"

She sighed.

"That's it, I'm buying new skin."

Meanwhile, Steven hurled acid grenades in every direction.

"Anyone wanna drink hot cocoa? No? Alright, bleach for everyone!"

Command center — tension rising.

Kimberly shouted,

"They have to run now! We're about to lose full control!"

Anna,

"It won't be enough. This won't end unless we burn half this planet."

She looked at Londo.

"Are we really about to launch that?"

Video link — Londo and Leonardo.

Londo:

"They're not surviving this."

Leonardo:

"They won't survive if you don't fire.

It's time for the RX-12 missile. You know what that means."

Londo said nothing. Then nodded.

"Lana." His voice was empty.

She looked at him with eyes trained to follow orders without emotion.

"RX-12 missile activation confirmed. Red code. Target: surface of Neptune, sector 6-8-Z."

On the ground, Steven got the warning through his earpiece.

"They're launching a cosmic missile on our heads? Are you guys f**king serious?!"

Kiara screamed,

"If I burn with you, I'm gonna screw you in the next life and then kill you again!"

"Taze!" Steven turned to him, half-laughing, half-dying.

"Don't go quiet now. Say something! Swear word, joke, anything!"

Taze looked at him for a second.

Then just said,

"Run."

And grabbed them both like backpacks.

Inside the ship, Lana approached the launch controls.

One hand on the scanner, the other on the authorization button.

She whispered to herself,

"Anyone left down there will just... vanish."

She bit her lip. Pressed.

The system spoke in her ear with a metallic tone:

"RX-12 missile launched. Estimated impact: 40 seconds."

The universe trembled. The missile burst through the atmosphere.

It looked like a space whale, gleaming, roaring like hell.

Steven shouted while running,

"We're not gonna make it! Fuuuck!!"

Kiara,

"Tell me this is a wet dream! Tell me my sexiness broke the world!"

Taze stayed quiet.

They approached the extraction gate...

But it was still closed.

The music swelled. Blood boiled. Air burned.

The camera panned upward, revealing the missile speeding like a divine sword sent by a retired god.

Steven muttered,

"That's it. We're so f**king done."

Black screen.

Silence.

"Neptune hasn't had its last word."

End of Chapter 2.
