The crows cried in a flock, then abruptly swerved to the west and disappeared without a trace across the Parnassus Mountains. Those who watched the crows moving as if they were implying that the god had gone to that side also saw the slowly setting sun staining the sky with its intense, final red hue.

Darkness crawled over the spot where Helios’ chariot passed by and cooled off the heat of the day. The glittering stars stretched themselves and stood where they were supposed to be. Receiving their grace, Selene the goddess of the moon bloomed. The full moon awakened the earth shyly with its splendid silver light. A bizarre, red cloud surrounded the edge of the moon in a round shape.

The dreamy night sky made the people say in chorus that it was such a weird night and a perfect day for a celebration while praising each other’s gods they knew.
