Chapter 29 - Chapter 29

Titus was carrying out his task of spreading and developing the Church of Avalon across all the nations of the Tevera Continent.

At present, he resided in a heavenly palace within an independent realm, a domain created solely for the growth of the Avalon Religion. It was a realm of endless white clouds, where magnificent palaces, heavenly gardens, and divine infrastructures floated in the sky. The air itself brimmed with pure, sacred energy, the ambiance befitting that of a heavenly paradise—a realm of gods, shrouded in mystery and majesty.

Titus stood before the altar of the replica Orb of Faith and Favor, his gaze fixed on the rising numbers of believers—already reaching 14,654,789, and still climbing.

Stepping forward, he approached the Pond of Faith and Favor. The pond shimmered with visions of countless faithful souls praying fervently to the statues of Avalon.

Titus: "Everything is going well."

Streams of radiant faith poured from the pond—emanating from true believers—and converged into the orb above the altar. The sight left him deeply satisfied.

Through the miraculous power of drinking the sacred waters beneath the divine statues in every church, the sick were healed, curses were lifted, and lives were restored. Witnessing such miracles, more and more people were drawn into the faith. Titus smiled as he watched the rippling events of countless churches unfolding in the pond.

Titus: "Master is such a genius… orchestrating all these miracles and manipulations on such a grand scale. And now, faith itself is being harvested—converted into the purest energy of all, for our use."

As he spoke, the scenes of reverent masses flashed across the waters of the pond.

Cring. Cring. An alarm rang from his phone.

Titus: "Hmm. So, it's time to summon the newly elected priests of the Church of Avalon into this heavenly realm. After today, the Avalon Religion shall be fully established. Let us begin… officially."

His body rose into the air as magnificent white wings unfurled from his back, radiant and angelic. His casual attire shifted, transforming into a resplendent white robe embroidered with golden designs.

In the next moment, his body dissolved into pure white light. He vanished—then reappeared far from the heavenly palaces—descending upon a vast, cloud-covered plain stretching endlessly in all directions. At its center stood a colossal statue of Lyrus seated upon a throne.

Titus landed and gazed upon the magnificent statue. Its presence was awe-inspiring, divine, and utterly commanding. A terrifying aura radiated from it, forcing all who looked upon it to bow instinctively. The sculpted god emanated mystery and omnipotence, a power beyond mortal comprehension.

Titus: "Such a masterpiece… I truly am a talent."

He smirked, proudly praising his own craftsmanship in creating such a flawless representation of his master.

Raising his hand, his voice rang like a sacred hymn across the realm.

Titus: "Now… I summon thee, all newly elected priests of the Avalon Church—to AVALON!"

In an instant, thousands of radiant lights of varying hues emerged from below, ascending through the clouds. They descended onto the plain, condensing into astral forms that soon solidified into human figures. Each wore white robes, their presence filling the divine land.

Walter: "The revelations… they were true."

Indeed, Titus had spread dream revelations among them: that all Avalon priests would one day be summoned to the White Heaven of Avalon, to be decreed as the chosen ones. Only the most loyal, those who would serve Avalon with unwavering devotion, had been handpicked.

Fajardo: "O… God."

The man fell to his knees the moment he materialized, bowing low before the towering statue—and the angel who hovered beneath it.

Titus: "Silence. You stand in sacred land. Bow and prostrate yourselves before the Almighty!"

At once, all murmurs ceased. The priests turned their eyes away, and every one of them fell to their knees in reverence.

Many could hardly comprehend how they had arrived in such a realm, summoned in so mysterious a manner. Yet their hearts swelled with awe.

"**Praise the **********!" they cried out, their voices echoing across the heavenly plain as they pressed their foreheads to the cloud-laden ground.

Hovering in radiant brilliance, Titus's voice rang with holy authority:

Titus: "I am the Angel of Faith and Favor—the Angel of Dream Revelations. We, the ancient ones, have awakened from our eternal silence to once again spread divine authority across the mortal realms. In honor of the Almighty, the ************, you are hereby summoned to this sacred land. Here, you shall be ordained by White Heaven itself, to serve as prophets of Avalon—our chosen proxies among mortals—to spread the faith of the Avalon Pantheon."

He paused, letting the divine words sink into their trembling hearts.

Titus: "Each of you here is chosen. The first priests of the Church of Avalon, the first prophets of our god. Yet know this: you are not forced to bear this mantle. If any among you wish to decline, you will be sent back to your mortal bodies unharmed, this dream wiped clean from memory. Stand now, those unwilling."

A solemn silence stretched across the assembly. No one moved.

Titus: "None? Then I shall presume all of you have chosen. Very well—RISE."

They stood, row upon row. But when their eyes fell once more upon the magnificent statue of Lyrus, the aura it exuded crushed their resolve, and they fell to their knees again.

Titus: "Do not gaze directly upon a god, lest you be reduced to nothingness. Let us not prolong this ceremony, or your mortal bodies shall perish."

He raised his hand.

Titus: "By the power bestowed upon me…"

Suddenly, glowing white orbs materialized before each priest, levitating with divine brilliance.

Titus: "You are now officially ordained by White Heaven—as prophets of the Avalon Pantheon, the first priests of the Church of Avalon."

The orbs descended slowly, embedding themselves within each priest's body.

Then Titus turned, kneeling before the magnificent statue.

Titus: "PRAISE THE ************!"

As one, the assembly fell to their knees, bowing their heads in perfect unison.

"**PRAISE THE **********!" they roared, their voices resounding through the heavenly plain.

Suddenly, a golden light descended from the skies. Each priest was crowned with a radiant golden halo.

Titus rose once more, hovering in divine splendor.

Titus: "From this day forth, you are part of Avalon. Betrayal and treason will be punished with total extinction. The white orb within you is the power bestowed by the ************. With it, you have been given strength. The halo you wear contains the knowledge to cultivate that power—and grants you angelic wings."

With a flick of his finger, wings unfurled from the backs of every priest.

Titus: "This halo also grants you health eternal. Within the Church of Avalon, you shall never wither. The orb within your body will transform your flesh, restoring your youth. At dawn, return to the churches of the mortal realm and proclaim yourselves as the new popes of Avalon. Spread our divine authority far and wide."

One by one, the priests dissolved into radiant lights, vanishing into the mortal world and back into their bodies.

Titus returned to the altar and pond. He gazed upon the reactions of the priests, watching them awaken—each one falling to their knees, praising the Almighty.

Stepping forward, he laid his hand upon the Orb of Faith and Favor, closing his eyes.

Titus: "Dream Revelations… The new priests of the Church of Avalon have been chosen. Sons and daughters of the Almighty, go to the churches tomorrow and witness the proclamation of our new priests and prophets."

His divine voice echoed into the dreams of all believers.

---

A day after the newly elected priests came to lead their respective churches, countless believers gathered in each holy place—drawn there by the dream revelations they had experienced. They witnessed with their own eyes the divine sight: the priests regaining their youth upon being proclaimed as the first priests of their churches. This miracle occurred after they drank from the water beneath the sacred statue.

Not only did they regain their youth, but they also became strikingly handsome and radiant in appearance. Their bodies brimmed with vitality and strength, and a holy prowess emanated from their very being. At the same time, knowledge of priestly cultivation flowed into their minds, guiding them on the path they were destined to walk.

Such events quickly went viral among the common people. The miracles became the talk of the streets and spread like wildfire across media platforms, gaining attention throughout the nations of the Tevera Continent. As a result, the number of believers grew rapidly, increasing day by day.

Of course, not everyone accepted the Avalon Religion. Many awakened individuals and those with supernatural prowess were skeptical. Yet the majority of the population were ordinary people, and so the faith continued to spread without pause.

Unlike other religions, this one directly offered blessings to its followers through the miraculous water. Specialists investigated the water, but their findings left them baffled. It was nothing more than plain water—free of magical energy, spiritual power, psychic resonance, or elemental essence. This only deepened the mystery, leaving even awakened individuals questioning the authenticity of the religion.

Soon, another peculiar phenomenon was discovered. The churches themselves expanded as their congregations grew. Witnesses testified that a certain church became larger overnight—without any signs of construction. Such mysteries unsettled the awakened and powerful, for something unknown was unfolding across the continent, hidden in plain sight yet beyond their detection.

Another marvel followed: the priests acquired supernatural abilities despite once being ordinary, unawakened humans. After their youth was restored, each priest awakened powers they had longed for in their hearts, while also receiving inherent gifts from the divine orb. Among these gifts were:

Holy Body, granting superhuman strength.

Eyes of Truth, discerning truth from lies and sometimes granting foresight in battle.

Flight, the ability to soar freely without wings.

Purification, healing sickness and cleansing curses.

Protection, manifesting a golden aegis that shielded from attacks and could bless others with a one-time defense against critical blows.

Every transformation was met with awe. Witnesses fell into reverence, praising the Avalon God more fervently than ever. The priests' divine metamorphosis—youth renewed, bodies shining with holy light, angelic wings and halos materializing—was like a miracle incarnate.

With the proclamation of every ten priests, the churches themselves transformed once again. Buildings grew grander and larger before the eyes of the people, their design becoming ever more majestic. The artistic beauty of the architecture, inside and out, elevated each church into a magnificent sanctuary. Divine energy filled these places, and believers knelt in unison, their voices raised in praise to their God.

Thus, the Avalon Religion was firmly established, its image forever etched into the minds of the people.

---

A few days earlier, Titus had received a message from his master: new brothers would soon arrive to help him manage the Avalon Religion. Soon, he met them—Reous, the Blue-Winged Angel; Zion, the Six-Winged Golden Armored Knight Angel; Zoren, the Thunder-Yellow-Winged Angel; and Elcid, the Four Black-Winged Angel.

Titus: "So you are the new brothers Master spoke of. I am Titus. Let us get along well, and faithfully serve him together."

Reous: "Greetings, big brother. I am Reous, pleased to meet you. And these are Zion, Zoren, and Elcid."

Zion: "Greetings, elder brother."

Zoren: "Greetings, brother."

Elcid bowed silently in respect.

Titus: "Are you already aware of your roles in this religion?"

Elcid: "We are, big brother."

As he spoke, a black orb materialized in Elcid's hand. Moments later, a yellow thunderous orb appeared in Zoren's grasp, a blue one in Reous's, and a golden one in Zion's.

Reous: "Master has already trained us for our duties. I will serve as the Angel of Purification, overseeing the divine miracle of the holy water that heals and purifies the faithful."

Zoren: "I have been tasked as the Angel of Tribulation. I will guide the faithful in their growth and cultivation."

Zion: "I shall serve as the Angel of Protection, helping you amass forces for the church. In times of war, I will act as the Judgment Angel of War."

Elcid: "I will be the Black Angel—the hand of darkness that curses the enemies of the church. I shall also act as the Judgment Angel of Nightmares. Both Zion and I are responsible for creating forces to serve the church."

Reous: "Master also said he will send more angels to serve the Avalon Religion. Dester and our other brothers are tasked with creating them when the time comes. We can expect new brothers soon."

Titus: "That is reassuring. The Avalon Religion is growing swiftly, and the believers increase by the day. I have been overwhelmed with work. Even with your assistance, it will still be demanding."

Zoren: "Master said you must now focus on governance in this independent realm, improving it so it truly befits the divine. You are also tasked with spreading the religion to neighboring continents. The four of us will take charge of the churches."

Titus: "But…"

Reous: "Do not think we are depriving you of your work, elder brother. Your achievements have been acknowledged by Master, and he values all the labor you have given. Yet he worries for you. With so many burdens, your own progress has stagnated. He has brought us here to ease your load so you may continue to grow as well. Of course, your guidance will still be essential in leading this religion."

Titus paused, then gave a faint nod.

Titus: "I see… Then I thank you all in advance. Let us begin."

Together, the five angels ascended into the heavenly palace.

That very night, in every church across the land, five statues of angels materialized beneath the towering figure of the god—depicted in the likeness of Lyrus. Once again, the priests were astonished, and revelations descended upon them.

Days later, nuns were also recruited into the Church of Avalon. Like the priests, they were chosen through dream revelations and were restored to youth. The new nuns, along with their priests, were summoned in dreams to the White Heaven, where they stood before the four new angels. There, they were baptized into true servants of the Avalon Religion. The miracle bound them in unwavering devotion, making them faithful members of the Avalon Pantheon.
