Chapter 28 - Meeting Cyde-man.

Jay-Jay's Pov

Keifer fought the urge to laugh, yet a mischievous smirk slipped through before he could stop it. He cleared his throat before asking, "You all right?".

I nodded, "Anyways," he drawled, eyes glinting with amusement, "what were you up to inside the bathroom?"

"W-what do you mean? I was just hiding…" I said quickly, my voice shrinking with embarrassment.

"As you say," he replied with a smirk. I stepped out of the bathroom and checked the time on my phone, 12.01 PM already? its time.

"U-uhh, flirty freak—Keifer! I mean Keifer… I really gotta go," I said, glancing at him nervously.

"Flirty- what?!," he asked, smirking.

"N-nothing, hehe," I chuckled awkwardly. He didn't look convinced, yet he gave a small nod anyway.

With a casual glance, he said, "Where are you going anyway".

"Ḥome," I replied casually.

He asked with a glance in my direction, "Need a ride home?".

"No need, I'll just hail a cab," I replied.

"Its not that sa-,"

"I can defend myself," I cut him off quickly. He dipped his head, a sign that he understood.

I stepped out of the room and made my way down the stairs. Keiren was there, scanning the area, clearly trying to find me. Keigan was just lying on the couch, clearly tired.

"Okay, Ate! You win!" Keiren yelled, collapsing onto a nearby chair like a defeated assassin, "Come out, wherever you're hiding."

He noticed me standing by the stair, smirking like I'd won some invisible trophy. "Where were you?" he gasped, still trying to recover.

I just stood there smirking, "Take a wild guess," I said, wiggling my eyebrows like a game show host.

I unlocked my phone and opened the location Mr. Clyde-man had so graciously dropped me yesterday. The location wasn't too close—it lay a little distance from Keifer's house.

"What are you looking at?" Keifer's voice came from behind me. I slid my phone into my pocket, the app still running.

"Nothing," I replied and kept walking toward Keiren.

"Uhh...guys, I've to go.."

"What!?," Keigan and Keiren shouted as they scrambled upright.

"Yeah..Sorry.."

"But Ate.. just stay here for a little longer, Please!," Keiren said, attempting the infamous puppy eyes he'd obviously stolen from his brother.

Keifer interrupted, though the hesitation in his tone made it clear he wished otherwise. "She has to go. Don't try to stop her, Keiren."

"Fine.." Keiren said with the kind of pout that could win an award for dramatic flair.

I smiled and walked toward the entrance, "Bye guys!.." I said my goodbyes as I stepped out of the house.

"Bye..." Keiren and Keigan waved at me with a pout. "Take care, Jay!" Keifer said his goodbyes. I nodded and turned my back on them.

I hailed a cab, "Where to go miss?," The driver asked me. I just showed him the location which.. wait, what was his name again? Batman? Spiderman? Cindy? hehe... A little memory issue. Oh wait, I just have to check messenger.

No matter how many times I tried to unlock it, the screen stayed lifeless, swallowed in black. 0%?! SHIT!! THE PHONE'S DEAD!! UGHHHH THE WORST TIMING OF ALL TIME..

Badedy-man (Batman+Spiderman+Cindy), I'm just gonna call you that I guess. The ride was soo quiet and peaceful, I decided to look out the window for a second. The view was soo pretty! not much as lenchon though.

It took more than 30 minutes to get to the location that Badedy had forwarded me. "We're here miss," the driver said and I nodded. I got out of the car and searched for my wallet.

I spent a good minute patting every pocket I owned, before the tragic truth dawned on me—I hadn't even brought my wallet. I'M DEAD!

"Uhh..sir, I hadn't brought my wallet," I said.

"You have to pay miss," he replied emotionless. I felt like crying after hearing the reply. I left it in my bag, WAIT ITS STILL IN KEIFER'S HOUSE!! AISH SHIT SHIT! FUCK!! I'M DEAD AND OF COURSE HANGED UP.

"I'll pay!," Someone from behind said. I turned around to see who it was. A not-so young but not-so old man, probably like 20-30 something. He had a small handbag with him, he dressed casual.

Thank you lord for sending me an "Angel".

After the not-so young but not-so old man paying for the cab, came up to me and offered his hand, "I'm Mr. Clyde Watson." he said still offering his hand that I hadn't took yet.

Wait Clyde? he's Clyde? Clyde-man? Flirty Freak's Cousin? I nodded and took his hand, "Jas-" I paused for a second and said, "Just call me Jay-Jay."

He smiled, "Lets go take a seat," he said pointing to a bench. The park was soo peaceful and pretty! I want to stay here forever. The birds chirped as I walked toward the bench which Clyde-man had pointed to.

I smiled, It felt like a home but... It was still incomplete. Someone or something is still missing here, Flirty freak? I wish we could've a date here. I smacked my own forehead, stop thinking about him.

I looked at the trees around, soo greeny! The birds kept chirping, a pond sat near the trees, serving as the bird's unofficial drinking fountain, I glanced at it.

"Hoyy! you there?," Clyde snapped his fingers right in front of my face, like some bargain-basement wizard trying to boot me out of the Imaginary World subscription.

I quickly looked at him and smiled awkwardly, "S-sorry, I was distracted."

"You're cute," he said patting my head.

"What do you want to talk about again?," I asked trying to make him stop patting me.

"Ahh that, take a seat first," he said.

I sat on the bench and he reached for a chair resting by the bench and claimed it as his own. He sat right in front of me so he could face me properly. I was still admiring the park.

"I actually don't really like these kind of places," I looked at him. "I picked this place because of you, I know you like peaceful places."

Well he's not wrong, I kinda like these kind of places, but I think it still needs some chaos, I'll invite Section E here someday. I wonder what is the name of this park, my phone is still dead...so I can't check the name.

"This is West Wood Park, if you don't know the name of it," he suddenly said. Did he just read my mind? Woahh nice.

"Anyway, tell me what you want to talk about," I said.

"Oh yeah, sorry but did you know Keifer was engaged?," he asked. I shook my head as a 'No'. He opened his small handbag and gave me some pictures.

Keifer and a girl standing beside Keifer? I knew it! he was with someone when he was still in London! I rolled my eyes, Keifer you have a lot to explain.

"This is Ion," he pointed to the girl standing beside Keifer, I nodded my head. To be honest, Keifer didn't even smile in the pictures, like he was forced to do it or something.

"Actually, Keifer was forced to do this," he explained. What? a forced engagement? Déjà vu? Thats why he is not smiling.

Now I feel bad.. sorry Flirty Freak, I underestimated you a bit.
