Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Am I dead?

"Do you want to go back, Mina?" The voice was soft, almost a whisper, yet it sounded so soft and lovely. "Mina, do you want to go back?"

Mina, who appeared as a woman now, tried to wake up. Her consciousness surfacing like a diver breaking through water. Sunlight warmed her skin, gentle and golden, lacking the harsh bite of the world she'd known. She blinked, finding herself seated in a vast field of swaying grass, speckled with vibrant purple flowers that danced under a sky strewn with lazy, white clouds. The air smelled of honey and earth, and a serene stillness enveloped her, as if time itself had paused to breathe.

"Mina?" The voice came again, warm and melodic, pulling her gaze.

She turned to see a beautiful woman standing before her, draped in a flowing white robe that shimmered faintly, as if woven from moonlight. A soft glow haloed her, casting no shadows within the folds of her garment, though her silhouette left a faint imprint on the grass. The effect was uncanny, like a figure caught between worlds.

"Am I…?" Mina's voice trembled, barely a whisper.

The woman's lips curved into a knowing smile, her eyes glinting with an ancient, gentle humor. "Dead? Oh, my dear, everyone asks that when they find themselves in a place more beautiful than their dreams allow."

Mina's breath caught. "So, is this… the afterlife? Heaven?" She glanced around, half-dazed, her fingers brushing the soft petals of a nearby flower. "What do I do here? Just… wander?"

The woman's chuckle was like the chime of distant bells. "This is an afterlife, my child, but not the afterlife. A waystation, if you will. A place to pause, to reflect. But you don't have to stay." Her expression softened, and she tilted her head, studying Mina. "Some believe it is fitting for you to return."

"Return?" Mina's stated calmly her emotionless purple eyes staring at the woman, "To Earth? You're saying I get a second chance?"

"Yes, my child."

Mina hesitated, her mind racing. "Are there… strings attached?"

The woman's smile turned enigmatic, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Is that the question you truly wish to ask, Mina?"

Mina fell silent, her gaze dropping to the grass. She wanted to return—desperately, fiercely—but why? What did she even do throughout her years? She couldn't remember.

"I want to go back," she said, her voice steady now.

The woman nodded, her expression unreadable. "Very well." She raised two fingers, delicate and precise, and lowered them slowly, as if pulling an invisible veil. Mina's eyes followed the gesture, and the ground beneath her softened, then gave way. She sank, the world tilting, colors bleeding into one another. The sensation was dizzying, as if she were falling upward, her body weightless yet tethered to something vast.

When the world righted itself, Mina stood ankle-deep in a shallow ocean of blood, its surface gleaming under a stark white sky. She looked down to see her face being reflected on the water. A beautiful woman with long curly purple hair and beautiful sexy body and a face that could make people go mad. But the woman before her was more beautiful.

Mina's breath hitched, and she stumbled back, only to realize the crimson tide stretched endlessly in every direction. Her heart pounded. Before her, the blood began to swirl, forming a whirlpool that roared as it spiraled downward. Other whirlpools erupted around her.

From each vortex rose a figure—women, their skin flawless yet unnervingly perfect, like porcelain carved by a divine hand. Their beauty was overwhelming, almost alien, and Mina's skin prickled with unease as their eyes locked onto her.

"Ah, darling…" one of them purred, her voice beautiful. She stepped forward, her movements fluid, each step sending perfect ripples through the blood. "So, you're the first of our new sisters who gets to be a demon lord in over a 10,000 years. Exquisite."

Mina froze, her pulse hammering as the woman—tall purple skinned woman, with dark hair cascading over her shoulders—approached. The woman's lips curled into a smile that was hard to resist. She brushed past Mina, her hand grazing Mina's chest, fingers lingering with deliberate intent. Mina shuddered, caught between revulsion and a strange, electric thrill.

The woman leaned in, her breath hot against Mina's ear. "I am Bella, a succubus just like you darling. The last demon lord before you. The great ancestors you were looking for."

Demon lord, succubus? What was happening. Did she lose her memories? That's what Mina wondered as she stared in confusion.

Before Mina could make sense of her words, another woman pressed forward, her lips claiming Mina's in a fierce, hungry kiss. Hands roamed her body—soft, insistent, overwhelming. Lips grazed her neck, her shoulders; fingers kneaded her skin, igniting a tingly feeling in Mina. To her left and right, other women joined in. Liking and biting her skin.

She was drowning in it—pleasure, raw and unrelenting, climbing higher with every touch. Her face flushed, her breaths came in gasps, and she couldn't tell if she was resisting or surrendering. The woman kissing her pulled back, her silver eyes streaked with rainbow hues, locking onto Mina's with an intensity that felt like a promise. Mina's body trembled, teetering on the edge of ecstasy, every nerve singing.

Bella's fingers moved faster, relentless, and Mina's moans mingled with the others, a symphony of desire echoing across the blood-soaked void. The pleasure crested, an unstoppable wave, and Mina cried out as her body convulsed, her climax shattering through her like lightning. Around her, the women's voices rose in a crescendo, their own releases mirroring hers.

Panting, Mina collapsed to her knees, the blood water lapping at her thighs. "How adorable," Bella murmured, crouching before her, her dark eyes glinting with satisfaction. She reached out, lifting Mina's chin so their gazes met. "What a sister we've gained today."

Another woman, her voice sultry and approving, spoke from the circle. "A fine addition, lady Bella."

"I'm sure she'll be much stronger than we were," Bella replied, her smile sharp and unsettling. She opened her mouth, and Mina's breath caught as a serpent slithered forth, its scales glinting like oil in the white light. It coiled over Mina's shoulder, its touch cold and invasive, before settling in the blood, tongue flickering.
