Chapter 834: Every Time, Whenever
Orion and Sophia walked in silence, their footsteps crunching softly against the snow as they made their way through the compound. The celebration continued behind them, laughter and music drifting through the cold air, but neither of them turned back. For the moment, they wanted the quiet.
They eventually stepped outside the pack compound and followed the familiar path toward Orion's favorite tree. The sun hung high above them, pale but warm, casting long shadows across the snow-covered ground. There was no wind, no falling snow, and for the first time in what felt like forever, the sky was completely clear.
Orion stopped beneath the tree and looked up at its branches before turning toward Sophia with a small smile.
"I'm going to teach you how to climb properly this time."
Sophia raised an eyebrow. "Properly? It may not have been proper to you, but I climbed it, didn't I?"
