Chapter 47 - "The Harem King of the Battlefield."

-----

-----

The entire battlefield went silent.

Everyone just stood there, stunned, staring at the school-uniformed boy.

No one knew how powerful Minato's magic really was…

But Diarmuid—a major Servant—had just been instantly wiped out.

It was mind-blowing.

"Damn it… Diarmuid really was useless!"

Kenneth, watching from the shadows, snapped out of his daze and cursed out loud.

Damn it!

Damn it all!

If that bastard hadn't stolen his relic, he wouldn't have been stuck relying on Diarmuid.

Right now—

He was seriously considering pulling out.

But before he could even move, a voice drifted into his ears.

"Yeah, he wasn't all that strong. But he did stay loyal to you to the end."

Kenneth jerked his head up—and found Minato staring right in his direction.

In that moment—

It felt like all the blood in his body turned to ice.

An overwhelming fear had already risen from the depths of his soul.

"And someone like you—hiding in the shadows—has no right to talk like that."

The moment those words were spoken...

A blinding light lit up the sky in the distance.

A vast, majestic pale blue magic circle blossomed right before his eyes.

"How did he find me?!"

Candice let out a horrified gasp. A mercury-like substance spread out rapidly, forming a solid barrier around him.

At the same time, he bolted, trying to escape as fast as he could.

But no matter how fast he ran, that suffocating feeling of being locked onto never left his side.

Crack!

Lightning came crashing down from the sky, like divine punishment itself descending upon the world.

Now, finally, Kenneth understood how Diarmuid had died.

It wasn't that he was weak...

It's that his enemy was just too strong.

Just the pressure of the incoming attack was enough to make him want to close his eyes and accept death.

Terror written all over his face, Kenneth could only watch as the thunderous lightning tore through his defenses like they were paper, utterly destroying his Mooncell Essence.

"I'm... gonna die..."

That was the only thought left in Kenneth's mind.

And then—

Everything went black.

All of his thoughts sank into eternal darkness.

"Over there… that was Lancer's Master?"

Medusa stood frozen, a bit stunned.

Was her own Master… maybe a bit too overpowered?

Not only had he insta-killed Lancer, but he also wiped out the other Master.

With a Master like this, did she even need to fight?

"This man… is extremely dangerous!"

On the other side, Artoria gripped her sword with both hands, on high alert.

"Judging by that insane level of magic, he must be the Caster."

Behind a nearby shipping container, Kiritsugu Emiya took a deep breath, hiding the shock in his eyes.

"Well, that makes one Servant and one Master out of the game."

"And the identity of Caster's Master is now confirmed too."

A glint of cold killing intent flashed across his face.

Sneak attacks and ambushes—

Those were his go-to tactics.

He didn't care what means he used, as long as it brought victory.

Pulling his hand back, Minato turned and looked straight at Artoria. "So… can we talk now?"

"There's nothing to talk about between us."

Artoria remained on guard. "If you want to fight, I'm ready anytime."

"C'mon, don't ruin such a nice night with talk of fighting."

"What the hell is even going on in your head?"

Artoria's head was full of question marks.

Even she could tell...

This Servant was seriously not normal.

"I'm actually being very serious here," Minato said sincerely. "I've got a request."

Artoria straightened up. "What kind of request?"

Minato smiled. "Artoria, how about becoming mine?"

"…Huh?"

Artoria froze on the spot, her ahoge twitching.

Not far away, Medusa couldn't hold back anymore. "Mr. Demon, don't you think you're being a little too much?"

Minato turned his head with a grin. "Hey, you never responded to my confession—so you being jealous right now isn't really fair, is it?"

Medusa was about to snap back—but then stopped cold.

Wait… this is jealousy, isn't it?

Her gaze drifted to Minato's annoyingly handsome face. Her cheeks started to blush.

Damn it… we only just met!

Come on, Medusa. Pull yourself together!

Why are you falling for this guy already?

Almost involuntarily, she clutched her chest, feeling her heart pounding like crazy.

"What, did I hit the mark?" Minato said with a half-smile.

Medusa blinked, then snapped back to reality. She quickly took a few steps forward, wrapped her arms around his neck, and whispered in his ear, "Fine, you win. I accept your confession."

Feeling the softness pressing against his back, Minato chuckled. "Just saying though—if we're dating, I am building a harem."

"...You scumbag. Can you be any more shameless?"

"....."
