Chapter 81 - "After the God Slayer."

Minato's Room—

After a very long magic replenishment session, only Utaha was left in the room.

"Master Minato, did you really become a God Slayer?" she asked, her eyes full of admiration.

"Master Minato, you actually pulled off something not even Demon Lords could do…"

"Now you see how lucky you are to be my follower?" Minato grinned, raising his hand and giving her firm, silk-clad butt a good slap. Smack!

"Ugh…!" Utaha shot him a playful glare. "Master Minato, can you tell me how exactly you became a God Slayer?"

"Of course."

So Minato started telling the story, and Utaha listened, nodding along every now and then. The conversation gradually got more… intense.

Meanwhile, Genova had come by and was standing outside the door. She listened for a bit, then left, cheeks flushed.

Doing it together or whatever… I'm not mentally ready for that.

Back in her own room—She was greeted by a flustered-looking Irina.

Her face was flushed, her breathing heavy.

The moment Irina realized Genova was back, her whole face turned red.

She jumped to her feet like she wanted to explain something—But no words came out.

Genova blinked in surprise, then said cheerfully, "No need to be shy! It's totally normal."

Irina: "..."

Damn it, why couldn't I control myself? This is so embarrassing…

It's all Miss Utaha's fault! Her voice cuts through walls like a damn drill!

Genova smiled gently. "Actually, I knew you were standing outside that night too."

"And now you're getting kinda desperate, aren't you?"

Irina froze, embarrassed, then slowly went quiet.

Yeah…She was getting desperate.

After all, two more knights had shown up today.

She came first! No way she was gonna let the others outpace her.

Honestly, she came to Genova for help.

Originally, Miss Utaha would've been the obvious pick…

But after that...

This was her only option.

"Hehe, don't worry! Just leave everything to me!" Genova said, pumped with confidence. "I've learned a lot of new stuff recently!"

"..."

Irina looked skeptical.

Genova, this adorable idiot who knows next to nothing about common sense… is she really reliable?

Did I just make a huge mistake?

The Next Morning—

Early morning.

Erica stepped out of her room, yawning, with huge dark circles under her eyes.

Regret. So much regret.

If she'd known it'd be like this, she would've picked a room further away from Minato's.

She barely slept a wink.

All night, even in her dreams, she kept hearing Miss Utaha's loud moaning.

A few times, she even woke up in a panic.

What made it worse? In her dream, she ran into Minato and Utaha. And then… well…

Nope. Too shameless. Can't even think about it.

Erica shook her head hard, trying to get the images out of her mind.

After a splash of cold water in the bathroom, she finally calmed down a bit.

No matter what—My first time is NOT going to be in a group!

Click.

Lilimiana walked out of her room at the same time, also sporting dark circles under her eyes.

"Yo, rough night too?" Erica asked.

"Don't talk nonsense, you vixen. I just pulled an all-nighter working on my novel."

Still stubborn as ever.

But if only people knew what she had been through since the magic replenishment session yesterday—It was just one shock after another.

For the first time in her life, Lilimiana realized…

Having too much material is also a nightmare.

Soon, the two of them headed downstairs to the dining room—And saw Artoria and Asia eating breakfast like nothing happened.

Lilimiana couldn't help but ask, "You two… really okay?"

That kind of noise yesterday had enough penetration power to echo through the whole damn building.

Artoria's little ahoge twitched. "It's fine. I made lots of delicious food!"

What does food have to do with anything?!

Both Erica and Lilimiana facepalmed internally.

Seriously, what kind of ridiculous personality does this so-called "King of Knights" have?

How the hell is she still able to eat in that situation?!

Asia smiled shyly. "Big brother Minato has always been like this~"

…They're used to it?

Erica and Lilimiana glanced at each other—Neither said a word.

This group…

Is kinda messed up, huh?

They both let out a deep sigh.

What's gonna happen to our proud knightly paths?

Afternoon—

Supernatural Research Club.

Minato strolled in, fresh as a daisy.

Rias sniffed the air, gave him a side glance, and said coolly, "Next time you come here, try cleaning up a bit first, yeah?"

"I just really wanted to see you," Minato said seriously.

Like hell I believe that.

He still reeked of Miss Utaha.

And it's already the afternoon!

Rias grumbled internally but held back—As the "official" girlfriend, she knew better than to nitpick over stuff like this.

"So, what brings you here at this hour?" she asked, eyeing him.

For some reason, his whole vibe felt… different.

It was hard to explain.

Like there was this overwhelming aura he couldn't hide, no matter how hard he tried.

And it didn't quite match the typical feel of a demon, either…

"You don't know?"

"What am I supposed to know?"

Rias blinked, then suddenly thought of something. "Wait, did you take in more followers? Are you here to introduce them?"

"Oh, that's just a small thing."

Minato waved it off and said seriously, "Actually—I became a God Slayer."

"???"

Rias's face was full of question marks.

What the hell are you talking about? A demon becoming a God Slayer?

That might just be the craziest thing she's ever heard.

Even her brother, the Overlord-class demon, couldn't pull that off.

But… Minato didn't seem like the type to joke about something like this.

Could it be… true?

If it is, then holy hell.

Forget just the demons—Even the angels and fallen angels are gonna lose their minds over this!
