Chapter 20 - Chaos At The Bar.

The office felt stifling. Tina tapped her fingers against her desk, glancing out at the city skyline. She needed a break, something to shake up her usual routine. Miyu appeared like a whirlwind, coffee in one hand, pastries in the other, eyes sparkling.

"Tina! You've been cooped up all day. You need a break. Right now."

"I'm fine."

Tina replied, though her lips twitched.

"Nope. Wrong answer."

Miyu said, plopping the coffee and pastries on Tina's desk.

"You're coming with me. Something fun. Chaotic. Something you actually enjoy."

Tina raised an eyebrow.

"Chaotic, huh? And what exactly do you have in mind?"

"The bar."

Miyu said, grinning.

"Music, people, drinks… don't worry—you don't have to dance if you don't want to."

Tina blinked.

"You know I don't like alcohol, right?"

"Details, details."

Miyu waved.

"You're not there for the drinks—you're there for fun. A little chaos will do you good."

Tina tilted her head. Miyu always had a way of making anything sound like an adventure.

"Fine. But if this goes wrong, I'm blaming you."

"Deal."

Miyu said, clapping her hands.

"Now grab your coat before I drag you somewhere worse."

The city streets buzzed around them. Tina's heels clicked confidently on the pavement while Miyu chattered about potential chaos scenarios. They turned the corner, neon lights glimmering. Tina froze. Behind the bar, moving with effortless precision, was Andrew. His eyes widened the instant she walked into the bar.

"Tina?!"

He exclaimed, totally shocked.

"Why… why are you here?"

Tina leaned casually against the doorway, grinning.

"I was bored at the office and Miyu suggested we have some fun."

Andrew just blinked at her still in shock.

"Wanna have fun in the private room with me and Miyu?"

Andrew felt a strange unease tighten in his chest. Miyu… her presence always set off warning bells he refused to acknowledge whenever she visited. Still, he forced a nod.

"Uh… yeah. Sure."

He said reluctantly. Miyu held Tina's shoulder with both hands, literally shaking her.

"You've been here before?"

"Miyu, stop shaking me. I'm gonna turn into a milkshake."

Miyu immediately stopped.

"When? Tell me when."

She asked fiercely which shocked Tina a bit but she chose not to think too much about it.

"... I haven't."

"Then how do you know the best bartender of the bar that's rarely here most of the time?"

"... Cause he my fiancé?"

Andrew, Miyu, Kai, Luna, literally everyone that was anyone was speechless. Kai and Luna began teasing Andrew almost immediately.

"Ooooh, look at you! Completely caught off guard!"

Kai teased, nudging Luna. Luna laughed.

"So the person who's got our Cutie's hair in a knot is finally here."

Andrew's face flushed. He tried to maintain composure, but Tina's playful grin and the teasing made it impossible. Miyu, standing beside Tina, narrowed her eyes. She was in love with Tina and seeing her so carefree—and so close to Andrew—twisted her stomach. She tried to hide her jealousy with a tight-lipped expression, though her heart raced.

~Fiancé? Oh my god. This is not how her breaking my heart looked like in my mind.~

Tina's eyes sparkled as she led Miyu toward the back of the bar.

"Private room."

She said, looping her arm through Miyu's.

"Quieter, cozier. We can really enjoy ourselves there."

Andrew followed reluctantly, the teasing and the chaos making him tense. Internally, he refused to admit the unusual pang in his chest.

~Jealousy? Never.~

Once inside the softly lit private room, Tina sank into a chair, feeling relief. Miyu seated herself beside her, still fuming quietly. Tina leaned forward slightly, smirking.

"So… as i said before, Andrew? My fiancé."

Miyu snapped, confusion flashing across her face.

"Wait… how do you even know him? Like where did you even meet?"

Tina's grin widened.

"We fell in love. Isn't that obvious?"

Miyu's stomach twisted as jealousy flared. Tina, completely unaware, leaned back, enjoying the controlled chaos she'd stirred with Andrew. Andrew tried to regain composure.

"I… totally didn't expect to see you here."

He said, his tone calm but flustered.

Tina's grin widened.

"Same. But… I thought maybe you'd enjoy some… private chaos, now that we met each other...maybe it's fate."

She glanced at Miyu.

"This is Miyu, my friend."

Miyu's jaw tightened, her hands fidgeting slightly.

"Hi."

She said, voice quiet but tense. Andrew's gaze flicked toward Miyu, sensing the tension immediately. Something about her made him uneasy—he didn't trust the storm brewing quietly in his heart, though he refused to admit it. Tina, oblivious to both Andrew's and Miyu's jealousy, leaned closer.

"So… what's good here?"

She asked, playful. Andrew ran a hand through his hair, eyes flicking between Tina and Miyu.

"Maybe something colorful, visually impressive—but safe. You definitely don't look like someone that should drink."

"I don't."

Tina said with a smirk.

"I'm here for the experience."

Miyu's eyes narrowed slightly, jealous as she watched Tina flirt effortlessly. Andrew's jaw tightened as he tried to maintain calm, while Luna and Kai's teasing echoed faintly from the main bar, amplifying his discomfort. Tina's gaze flicked from Andrew to Miyu and back again, enjoying the subtle chaos she had created: a shocked fiancé, a tensed friend who she didn't know was actually jealous, and a couple of teasing coworkers all rolled into one room. Leaning back, Tina whispered to herself.

"Controlled chaos… I like this."

The private room smelled faintly of vanilla and citrus, the warm amber light bouncing off the polished walls. Miyu perched stiffly beside Tina, arms crossed, giving off an aura that could rival a volcano ready to erupt.Andrew leaned against the doorway, pretending calm while internally scrambling.

"So… this is the private room? I've never actually been here before even though I work here."

He asked, voice neutral.

"Yup."

Tina said cheerfully, spinning slightly to face him.

"It's perfect. Quiet, cozy, and full of mischief potential."

She winked.

"And thanks for letting us in, by the way."

Andrew raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk tugging at his lips despite himself.

"Mischief potential… You mean… chaos. You bringing chaos into my bar, right?"

"Maybe."

Tina said, grinning.

"But only the fun kind. The kind that tests your skills."

Andrew's smirk widened, his sassy energy resurfacing.

"Test my skills? Oh, I see. You're trying to beat me at my own game?"

Tina leaned closer, voice teasing.

"Exactly. Think you can handle it, Andrew?"

Andrew's eyes twinkled.

"Please. I handle chaos for breakfast, Tina. You're just a dessert that thinks it can challenge me."

Miyu's jaw tightened beside Tina.

~Dessert?~

Her jealousy flared, but she forced herself to remain composed. Tina seemed oblivious to the tension radiating off her, as usual. Tina leaned back, smirking.

"Dessert, huh? I like that. Sweet but dangerous. Just like me."

Andrew laughed, shaking his head.

"Sweet? Dangerous? You're more like a tornado in a candy store. Loud, messy… and somehow adorable."

Tina leaned forward again, resting her chin on her hand.

"Adorable, huh? That's definitely a compliment. But can you keep up with me?"

Andrew's smirk widened, confident.

"Oh Tina, I don't just keep up—I lead the dance. Watch and learn."

Tina's eyes sparkled.

"Alright, Mr. Confident. Let's start the first challenge."

She waved toward the tray of colorful mocktails she had arranged on the table.

"You make one that impresses me—and Miyu too, if you want to survive the evening."

Andrew groaned mockingly, placing his hands on his hips.

"Impress you? You're really asking for the most easiest thing in the world, you know."

Tina leaned closer, whispering just loud enough for him to hear.

"Easy? Well let's see you try then."

Andrew chuckled, shaking his head.

"You're enjoying this way too much, aren't you?"

"Every second."

Tina admitted with a mischievous grin. Miyu's fists flexed slightly in her lap. She hated how effortlessly Tina toyed with Andrew, how he bounced back with sass instead of collapsing under her chaos. It made her stomach twist in ways she didn't like. Andrew grabbed a shaker and started mixing a mocktail with exaggerated precision, all while giving Tina a sly, challenging glance.

"You know, if I win, I get to make you answer a question truthfully. Fair?"

Tina's grin widened.

"Oh, very fair. But I warn you—I never lose."

Andrew smirked.

"Good. Then prepare to be amazed by the best mocktail you'll ever have. And maybe learn a thing or two about my superior skills while I'm at it."

Tina leaned back, arms crossed, watching him like a cat observing a particularly stubborn mouse.

"Superior skills, huh? We'll see about that."

Miyu, meanwhile, couldn't take her eyes off the playful back-and-forth. Every jab, every smirk, every teasing glance was like a spark to dry tinder. Her jealousy simmered, but she refused to show it—though the tension in her shoulders and tight jaw gave her away. Andrew presented his mocktail with a flourish.

"Behold. The 'Tornado in a Candy Store'. Sweet, messy… and unforgettable. Like someone I know."

He gave Tina a sly, confident look. Tina laughed, clapping her hands.

"Wow! Dramatic naming—very fitting. But… taste test time."

She picked up the glass, swirling the drink, pretending to examine it critically. Andrew leaned back, arms crossed, smug.

"Go ahead. But don't say I didn't warn you. This is a masterpiece."

She took a sip, eyes widening slightly in astonishment.

"Hmm… I must admit… impressive. You might be redeeming yourself, Andrew."

Andrew smirked, leaning in closer.

"Might? Just might? That's not exactly the praise I deserve, Tina."

Tina tilted her head, smirking.

"Don't get cocky, Miyu haven't even started her turn yet."

Andrew rolled his eyes dramatically.

"Oh, please. I can handle whatever chaos she throws at me."

Tina leaned closer, whispering.

"I hope you can handle it… because the real game is just beginning."

Miyu's jaw tightened further. She tried to focus on the drink, but the dynamic between Tina and Andrew was mesmerizing—funny, flirty, chaotic. And deeply unsettling for her. Andrew caught her glance, smirking.

"Relax. You're part of this too, Miyu. Don't look so tense."

Miyu's cheeks flushed, she immediately tried to fake a smile.

"I'm… fine."

She said, though her eyes narrowed. Tina leaned back, satisfied. The room was a perfect storm: a sassy, flustered fiancé, a very tensed friend, and Tina herself, radiating controlled chaos. And she loved every second of it.

"Next challenge."

Tina said, leaning forward again, voice playful.

"Trivia! Every wrong answer… a dare. Are you ready to play, Andrew?"

Andrew grinned, leaning closer across the table.

"Bring it on, Tina. Just know—I don't lose."

Tina's eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Oh… I'm counting on it."

The private room buzzed with tension, chaos, and unspoken feelings. It was a small world, but a perfectly chaotic one. And Tina, as always, was the center of it.

The mocktail challenge had set the tone. Tina sipped her chaotic fruit punch with a satisfied smirk, while Andrew leaned back, arms crossed, exuding the kind of confident sass that only made Tina grin wider. Miyu, perched beside Tina, tried to hide the tightness in her shoulders, but every playful glance between Tina and Andrew sent a flare of jealousy through her chest. Tina's fruit punch was ridiculous, even for her. A tall, sleek glass with a tiny floating LED stirrer that changed colors with every swirl. The drink itself was a vibrant mix of ruby-red strawberry, golden mango, and deep purple grape juices, topped with a swirl of sparkling soda that fizzed like tiny fireworks. A miniature umbrella and a slice of starfruit perched precariously on the rim, giving it that extra 'I'm ridiculously extra' vibe. She swirled it once, watching the LED change from pink to electric blue, and grinned.

"Mmm… chaos in a glass. Just like me."

She murmured, taking a careful sip. The fruit punch was sweet, tangy, and ridiculously refreshing, each gulp practically shouting billionaire energy meets childlike chaos. Andrew raised an eyebrow, smirking.

"You do realize you're overdoing a drink that doesn't even have alcohol, right?"

Tina leaned back, waving a manicured hand dramatically.

"Overdoing? No such thing. Every sip is an experience. And I plan to make this bar feel the full spectrum of my chaos tonight."

Miyu's jaw tightened beside her, watching Tina delight in every bubble and spark.

"You really know how to make even fruit punch a spectacle."

She muttered, Tina smirked, sipping again, letting the fizz tickle her nose.

"That's what happens when chaos incarnate enters the room."

Miyu smiled genuinely forgetting the jealousy even for a moment.

"Alright."

Tina announced, setting her glass down, the LED stirrer still blinking dramatically.

"Next challenge. Trivia. Every wrong answer… a dare."

Andrew raised an eyebrow, smirking.

"Let's get started."

Tina giggled, bouncing lightly in her chair.

"Alright, then. First question. What's my favorite flavor of ice cream?"

Andrew leaned back dramatically, smirking.

"Chocolate. Obviously. Don't try to trick me."

"Hmm…"

Tina tapped her chin theatrically.

"Close… but I might like a hint of caramel in there too. So… half credit?"

Andrew rolled his eyes.

"Half credit? Really? I'm offended."

He leaned forward, lowering his voice.

"You're lucky I'm in a generous mood."

Miyu's fists flexed subtly beside Tina. She couldn't believe how and why Tina effortlessly teased Andrew while maintaining this playful chaos. It was maddening, yet strangely magnetic. Tina's grin widened.

"Next question! What's my favorite song to sing in the shower?"

Andrew's smirk faltered for half a second before his sassy energy returned full force.

"Hide and seek by Lizz Robinett. You're predictable, you know that?"

Tina gasped, leaning back in mock horror.

"Predictable? ME? Oh no. You must be joking."

"Nope."

Andrew said, leaning closer, voice low and teasing.

"And don't even think about using that as an excuse for cheating on the next dare."

Tina's eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Cheating? Who, me? Never."

Miyu watched, jaw tight. Her heart pounded. She couldn't understand why she felt so… possessive. It's ridiculous. I don't even— she shook her head, focusing on the trivia questions Tina was throwing at Andrew. Andrew leaned back, grinning confidently.

"Alright, your turn. Dare me. I dare you. Bring it."

Tina's smirk widened.

"Okay… I dare you to… sing the next song I name. Full volume, heartfelt emotion."

Andrew raised an eyebrow, leaning forward.

"Heartfelt emotion? Really? You're asking the wrong omega, Tina. But… challenge accepted."

Tina's eyes glinted with chaos.

"From the start by Laufey. All of it. Full performance."

Andrew groaned dramatically, then straightened, hands raised theatrically.

"Fine, fine. But you're going to regret this."

He cleared his throat, and in the cozy, softly lit private room, his voice filled the space. Surprisingly, it wasn't half bad. Miyu's jaw tightened as she felt an unexpected twist of admiration in the pit of her stomach. Tina, however, clapped lightly, eyes sparkling with delight.

"You see? That's what I mean by chaos with style."

Tina said, grinning. Andrew smirked, finishing the last note with a dramatic bow.

"Satisfied, oh Master of chaos?"

Tina laughed, clapping her hands.

"Completely. But don't think this means you're off the hook. Next question!"

Andrew groaned, though his eyes twinkled.

"I feel like I'm in a trap I can't escape from."

Miyu's eyes narrowed. She tried to focus, but the playful tension in the room was suffocating. Every glance Tina gave Andrew, every sassy remark he fired back, made her pulse race. She clenched her hands in her lap, fighting the storm of jealousy threatening to spill over. Tina leaned closer, whispering teasingly.

"Next dare: you have to give me a reason why I should not make every night trivia night."

Andrew smirked, leaning back in his chair, voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Oh, well, that's easy. I'd get bored halfway through, I'd be annoyed, and Miyu would probably combust from jea-tension."

Tina's grin widened.

"Miyu combust? Now that sounds like fun."

Miyu's jaw flexed, but she remained seated. The tension in her chest was unbearable. She had no idea why she felt so… flustered, watching Tina and Andrew play their chaotic game. Andrew leaned closer, smirk dancing on his lips.

"Seriously though… trivia with you is impossible. You're relentless, chaotic, and apparently… wat too easy to impress."

Tina's eyes sparkled.

"Too easy to impress, huh? That's a challenge I accept."

Andrew groaned dramatically.

"I feel like I'm signing up for endless chaos."

"And you love it."

Tina added softly, leaning back with a satisfied sigh. Andrew paused. Her voice, soft and playful, tugged at something he refused to name.

"Maybe… maybe I don't mind it as much as I should."

He muttered under his breath, catching himself immediately. Tina caught the faint mutter, eyes glinting with mischief.

"Oh? Maybe? I like that. Maybe I'll push you further."

Miyu's fists flexed tightly, though she remained seated. The tension in her chest was unbearable. She had no idea why she felt so… flustered, watching Tina and Andrew play their chaotic game. Tina leaned forward, whispering conspiratorially,

"Next dare: you have to answer a question honestly, no matter what it is."

Andrew's eyebrow shot up.

"Honestly? You're cruel, you know that?"

"Of course."

Tina said, smiling.

"But… I'm worth it."

Andrew leaned back in his chair, smirking, trying to mask the strange warmth spreading in his chest.

"Fine. Ask away, oh Master of chaos. But beware… I bite back."

Tina's eyes sparkled.

"I wouldn't have it any other way."

Neko Neko's mini theater🐨🐨

I flop onto the rug with a dramatic sigh, tail flicking like it's conducting a tiny orchestra of despair. Tina's gone. Andrew's gone. Both of them. Alone. How could they do this to me? I deserve chaos. I deserve mischief. I deserve to be included.

I glare at the empty doorway, imagining Tina laughing somewhere—probably doing something ridiculous. I know she's up to something fun, but I don't know what. All I know is that she left me. And Andrew? Gone too. The audacity.

Then there's Elijah. Calm. Smooth. Unbothered. The tray of snacks he carries is just… sad. He sits down next to me, calm as ever, like everything's normal.

"Good morning, Neko Neko," he says. "Want some treats?"

Treats? Do you see me? I am not interested in treats. I am interested in Tina. And Andrew. And chaos.

I sniff the cookie he offers... Fine. I'll eat one. But only because starvation is worse than boredom. Tail flicks. Ears twitch. Still. No chaos. No Tina. No Andrew. Trapped. Alone. With him.

He nudges a toy toward me. Pathetic. Completely inadequate. I glare. He smiles. Smile?! Calm wave smile?! I twitch my tail with maximum intensity. He shall not survive this.

I flop dramatically on my back, paws flailing, imagining what Tina must be doing. She's probably laughing. Maybe shouting. Maybe even causing some chaos somewhere. And I'm stuck here, sulking, forced to endure… Elijah. Alone.

I consider tiny rebellions—push a cup, flick a feather, knock a toy—but he's too calm. Too disciplined. He doesn't react the way Tina would. He doesn't yell, laugh, or chase me. He just sits there. Watching. Smiling. Ugh. Infuriating.

I flop on my side, paws over my face, tail flicking like a metronome of despair. My humans are having fun without me. Tina, chaos supreme, probably laughing somewhere, and Andrew… wherever he is. And me? Stuck here, sulking, dramatic, waiting.

Mark my words. When Tina returns—if she returns—she'll find a masterpiece of chaos waiting. Every toy flung, every snack half-eaten, every possible furry protest enacted. And Andrew? He doesn't even know he's part of it yet.

I stay sprawled on the rug, tail flicking, eyes narrowed. Abandoned? Yes. Sulky? Extremely. Dramatic? Absolutely.
