The automatic doors whooshed open, letting the morning sunlight spill across the polished tiles of the grocery store. Tina shot forward like a pinball, arms flailing slightly as she scanned every aisle.
"Andy!"
She called over her shoulder, voice bright and chaotic.
"We need snacks! And chocolate! And… oh, everything!"
Andrew groaned, gripping the cart like it was a wild animal. His other hand hovered close to Tina, ready to grab her if she collided with the shelves.
"You're not even through the entrance yet."
He muttered, voice dry but tinged with amusement.
"And you're already plotting to bankrupt the store."
She turned, grinning, hair bouncing as she gestured wildly.
"I'm not plotting! I'm preparing! For emergencies! Survival! Chaos! Dessert!"
Andrew raised an eyebrow, deadpan.
"Sure. Survival. Right. And if this cart tips over, we'll call it a strategic evacuation."
