Andrew slammed the front door harder than he meant to. Not loud enough to be dramatic… but loud enough that the sound echoed all the way up the marble staircase of Tina's ridiculously huge mansion. His shoulders were hunched, apron stuffed messily into his bag, hair sticking to his forehead from running home instead of taking a cab. He didn't even know why he'd run.
He just… needed distance. Needed air. Needed to stop seeing the stupid scene replaying in his head. Tina laughing. Tina smiling. Some random omega leaning too close to her at the event. Her polite, clueless smile making it look like flirting. He growled under his breath. Just why did it bother him so much? The lights flicked on.
