Douluo Continent.
Within the academy nestled in Sunset Canyon.
Deep inside the Jade Ridge Maple Spirit Beast Treehouse.
Wu Tong's figure materialized instantly at the spot where he had left.
Upon his return, Wu Tong paid no mind to the change in scenery, still lost in thought about the moment of departure.
"Gotta admit, as expected of the 'Flat Chest of Shenzhou'—Fu Hua's chest is so flat, hugging her felt like nothing at all."
"Sigh~ Five thousand years, and still no improvement."
While reminiscing about the farewell embraces, Wu Tong couldn't help but吐槽 (complain) about Fu Hua's figure with a mix of exasperation and resignation.
Rooooar—
Before he could finish grumbling, an excited roar suddenly echoed from behind.
Wu Tong turned to see a black figure charging toward him.
"This is… Rayquaza?"
Upon closer inspection, Wu Tong recognized the figure—it was the Shiny Black Rayquaza he had won from the chat group's lottery.
"It hatched already? That fast?"
He then glanced in the direction it had come from.
Sure enough, only a split eggshell remained there.
The Life Crystal he had left behind had completely vanished.
"Must've been the Life Crystal's effect."
The moment Rayquaza saw Wu Tong, it rushed over, joyfully spiraling and dancing through the air like a sleek black ribbon, its movements light and agile.
Wu Tong examined Rayquaza's form with growing satisfaction.
Its slender body was mostly black, adorned with several golden ring-like patterns along its back. Red-edged wings extended from its shoulders and underside, while its tail ended in fin-like structures.
Two long, flattened horns crowned its head, accompanied by two smaller ones below. Its upper snout bore two distinct fangs, and its yellow eyes gleamed with black pupils.
From its abdomen sprouted two arms, each tipped with three razor-sharp claws that glinted coldly, their锋利 (sharpness) unmistakable at a glance.
Any man who laid eyes on Rayquaza would instantly think of one word: "Cool."
Wu Tong was no exception—especially since Rayquaza had an even cooler form waiting in the future: Mega Rayquaza, a design both more domineering and powerful.
After admiring Rayquaza's aerial display for a while, Wu Tong led it out of the treehouse.
Stepping onto the open ground below, he released Rayquaza into the sky, letting it soar freely through the heavens.
Wu Tong, however, paid it no further mind. With a casual grip in the air, the Sumeru Realm materialized in his hand. A flash of light later—
Over 1,500 figures were expelled from the Sumeru Realm, densely crowding the open space ahead.
"Wow, so this is Wu Tong's academy? What a beautiful view!"
The moment Elysia emerged, she began scanning her surroundings. Upon taking in the sight of the academy nestled in Sunset Canyon, she couldn't help but praise it sincerely.
"Elysia's right—it's gorgeous! Boss Wu Tong must hold quite the status in this world. Hehe, Pardo's got herself a solid backer now~"
Pardo was equally delighted by the academy's grandeur. A place this lavish? Clearly, Wu Tong's standing was anything but ordinary.
"Rin, this is where we'll live from now on."
Sakura gazed at the picturesque campus, her eyes brimming with hope for the future.
That's right—Rin hadn't stayed in the original world.
After learning of Wu Tong's deal with the Flame-Chasers of the Elysian Realm, Sakura, now resurrected, had sought him out directly. In exchange for combat tutelage, she secured Rin's passage out of the Honkai world.
Looking back, it was obvious—she simply couldn't bear to see her little sister suffer again.
Meanwhile, the 1,500 Valkyries, upon seeing their future workplace, erupted into a cacophony of chatter.
…
The male Flame-Chasers, however, ignored the scenery entirely, their attention locked onto Rayquaza's aerial maneuvers.
"Cool." Kosmo's eyes sparkled.
"Sick." Kevin's gaze burned with desire.
"Is that… a dragon?" Su, hailing from the previous era's Shenzhou, recognized Rayquaza's form at once.
"Seems pretty strong! Hahaha…!" Kalpas, unimpressed by superficial looks, zeroed in on the colossal energy swirling within Rayquaza.
…
As the saying goes, one woman equals five hundred ducks.
The combined noise of 1,500 women chattering at once was enough to give Wu Tong a headache.
Acting fast, he summoned his maid squad with a wave, instructing them to guide the Valkyries away—to familiarize themselves with their future duties and dormitories.
"Phew~ What about you all? Any plans?"
Once the Valkyries were gone, Wu Tong exhaled in relief before turning to the Thirteen Flame-Chasers.
Having promised them the freedom to live as they wished, he had no intention of going back on his word.
"Get me a lab. I heard from Hua that this world has all sorts of unique Spirit Beasts. Weak as they may be, I'd still like to study them—might spark some inspiration."
After a moment's thought, Mobius decided to continue her pursuit of the Infinite.
"Sure, no problem. I'll upload all the knowledge I've gathered to the Spirit Network shortly. Feel free to browse—I'll grant you access."
Wu Tong handed Mobius a wristband before adding,
Mobius was no stranger to the device—it was a relic of their former civilization, a smartphone-like gadget.
"Spirit Network? This world's version of the internet?"
Flicking the wristband on, she watched as a holographic screen projected into the air, displaying a signal indicator. Her interest was piqued.
"Yep, my creation. Still in its early stages, but more than enough for data storage."
Wu Tong had the AI share his archives with the Spirit Network, then granted Mobius secondary access—enough to retrieve general knowledge.
"Also, check out the materials I've uploaded. They include intel from other worlds."
"Perfect. Don't worry—my thirst for knowledge rivals anyone's."
Mobius had no objections to studying. To achieve the Infinite, learning was non-negotiable.
"Me too! Gimme one!"
Vill-V, eyes gleaming, practically lunged at Wu Tong upon seeing the wristband.
Her curiosity about otherworldly knowledge was just as voracious.
With a chuckle, Wu Tong conjured a batch of modified wristbands and distributed them to the others.
As Vill-V and Mobius settled on their paths, the rest began voicing their plans.
In the end:
Kevin, armed with a dozen Kevin-model Combat Dolls, became the academy's head of security.
Klein remained Mobius's lab assistant.
Su took up the role of school psychologist.
*(With healing Spirit Masters around, traditional doctors weren't in high demand—hence the shift to mental health.
Wu Tong: …Though, given Su's penchant for riddles, can he actually counsel students?)*
Sakura and Aponia became teachers, with Rin serving as Sakura's assistant.
*(Wu Tong: Since when do teachers get assistants?
Sakura: Flame-Chaser business. Stay out of it.)*
