Chapter 22 - A Slice Of Life As An Emperor. ( Part 2 )

Shortly after shouting multiple other obscenities, Hei An started calming down as he began thanking God that he was immune to the corruption, as he would have to endure a much more gruesome fate.

Laughter escaped her lips as Heaven's Will wrapped her arms around my neck, saying, "Interesting! So, that's what it feels like to traverse multiple pathways at once. You are truly fascinating.

Unlike Kieran, who is more like an AI, devoid of true feeling, therefore doesn't think much when killing, you seem unfazed by killing. Why is that? I'm genuinely curious. Unlike those of the modern age who transmigrate, you do not waver at the thought of taking a life."

I responded simply, "I dissected frogs, fish, and mice at the age of ten. By seventeen, I had personally observed the cleaning of corpses and even assisted when complications arose. After all those experiences, why would I flinch at death or killing? While I don't take pleasure in it, I understand its inevitability.

Consider this: a cow, which primarily eats grass, will occasionally consume a snake for the vitamins it provides when energy is low. The act of a cow crushing the skull of a snake and consuming its limp body is merely a curiosity for some, a trivial fact for others.

Even herbivores can kill, and let's not forget the countless ants a human steps on in their lifetime come to think of it.

How many blades of grass have you crushed underfoot? If you possess a photographic memory, you might recall each instance, but why would you? To you, they are insignificant, just like many lives around you.

That is why I feel detached. In this false world, which is soon to be destroyed, where all beings are destined to die, everyone is merely a fleeting curiosity. It matters not whether they are intriguing or dull; the reality remains unchanged. Thanks to my awareness as a Sequence 9, I've embraced this truth within my first minutes in it, allowing me to adapt to this world until my escape.

And I await the arrival of the 5th epoch—the epoch when The Fool descends, aligning everything perfectly within the grand script of the Primordial God Almighty and the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings."

It took a while, but eventually, Heaven's Will smiled. "Oh, so that is when my plans and his plans to come back truly arise—how amusing." Hei An didn't flinch on the outside as he was walking, therefore, in a way dancing, granting him complete control over his body as he asked.

"Celestial Worthy, do you plan on obtaining this Sefirot when it is created?" At that bold question, he paused and answered, "No, this plan of his simply doesn't interest me, nor did it interest him when he planned for it. This is merely one of he and I's resurrection plans that we truly cared not for and merely made as a smoke screen."

Hei An didn't bother with saying his full name as he asked once again, "Celestial Worthy, do you then dare to say that your will won't be planted inside the Sefirot so I won't be able to help The Fool as you resurrect?" The arms around his neck didn't even quiver as he responded.

"Of course I will. You can take on any pathway you wish; therefore, of course, I need to make sure you are firmly out of my way by then. Though, of course, I don't plan on killing you, and I most likely cannot.

Oh, I nearly forgot: a Primordial God Almighty was hiding in your memory of the letter Adam sent you. I erased him, so your memories should be returning soon." After he said that, Hei An stopped walking.

"Did that fucker really pray to Adam, fucking Adam of all people, for help? I wouldn't ever do so! And in the 4th epoch, is he brain-dead? The Primordial Demoness left some influence of Primordial God Almighty into this world when becoming a god.

That surely tried to fuck with Grisha (Adam), who was already having a hard time fending off Primordial God Almighty from multiple fronts. Fuck it, I'm considering the me who was previously in control an idiot because, holy shit, he's made way too many fuck-ups."

At Hei An's raging thoughts, the Celestial Worthy didn't mind simply looking out the window of the palace as he said, "By the way, the seven, which two you've already collected of the bastards the not-Heaven's Will mentioned in the past, you've already collected.

You need the other seven, or else this world will just end, and a new loop will begin, killing you in the process. Since you've already killed the emperor and king, that means, well, you have four days to collect them all and make them kings before the Mother Goddess of Depravity decides to corrupt the world and kill everything, causing the ritual to commence and fail, resetting everything."

At that, Hei An felt as if he would have a heart attack, as from his perspective, it's only been a few hours since his argument with his friend. Though he felt a little solace thinking, "At least I'm not in Reverend Insanity. That place is just shitty, straight up—no redeeming qualities other than the lore and Feng Yuan.

But even then, Heaven might just decide to make Feng Yuan happen to come across me, and then I somehow die because I did something or had something on me he needed at the time or for any other absurd reason, just to make sure everything is happening according to their keikaku."

With a heavy heart, Hei An asked, "So, will you send them to me?" The Celestial Worthy responded by saying, "Sure, why not? It's not like it will benefit me from not helping you. Plus, I'm bored—I'm even older than me at this point."

"At least I have one less thing to worry about."

( A/N: You might be wondering why this mini arc is ending fast and that's because you would rather see the 4th epoch than this and I would as well i'm just writing this part so I can connect it with different events as to why certain people did certain stupid things or just got really lucky or even just fix up plot holes.

Fun Fact | I think a Scholar of Yore would be super overpowered when in comes to copying other beyonders abilities think of it right after a Shepherd grazes someone they can do it again and again for the Scholar of Yore until the Scholar of Yore can perfectly replicate the ability to graze.

Along with a Scribe from the Error pathway if they kept studying each other dude they would be able to replicate so many things without filling up their ''slots'' )
