Prologue — A True Utopia

Meet Earth—or "Gaia," as people call it in this world.

Gaia is a true utopia in every sense of the word. This world is different from your Earth—yes, you, the reader. Here, allow me to explain.

Gaia is an extremely technologically advanced world with its own history and even language called "Pro-Hein" that everyone in Gaia speaks. It is home to many species: from humans to dragons, and even gods. The economy is great, and so are the education system and workforce. But the real magic comes in its parts known as "Prefectures." They're large continent-cities around the world, but not so big that they reduce the ocean. Each one is ruled by its own government; they all have distinct currency systems, cultures, societies, and even languages. The language barrier is precisely why everyone in Gaia must speak Pro-Hein.

These Prefectures include Aqua Prefecture (City underwater), Sahara Prefecture (City in the desert), High Prefecture (City above the clouds), Outer Prefecture (City on a large spacecraft in space), Solar Prefecture (Solarpunk city), and finally, Cyber Prefecture (Cyberpunk city).

Despite its name, Gaia is governed by one powerful—though unknown—authority that prevents conflict between Prefectures. This means that even if you come from a different Prefecture, you can still feel at home elsewhere.

There is also something called "Spiritism"—a practice that uses "Spirituality," a kind of energy that functions like magic (or mana, as some call it). I won't say much now, but know this: you can awaken Spirituality based on your individual probability. You book an "Evaluation Appointment" at an "Evaluation Facility" in your Prefecture. Each facility has over 1,000 rooms—because everyone has Spirituality; it's just a matter of percentage. You go into a white room where scientists will use a special kind of technology to see your "Probability Rating." If your probability is under 50%, you cannot awaken Spirituality; if it's above 50%, you can. Spirituality is determined at birth, but you can still awaken until age thirteen—some even awaken accidentally.

Side note: Most people awaken at the facility, but some have a delayed awakening.

Those who awaken—or have a high probability—attend a special high school that's its own mini‑country. The campus is so vast, it reaches the clouds, complete with dorms, a cafés, movie theaters, and even carnivals. This school has it all—Cosima Prefecture.

That is all I can reveal now. You'll have to keep reading to learn more. There is more to explore—not just Gaia, but reality itself. Even utopias have dark sides—visible or hidden—a perfect balance of light and dark.
