Chapter 8 - 8.“The Monster in Human Skin”

A storm rolled across the sky above Sector 2 of the academy.

Not clouds.

Not rain.

A tear — a rip in the dimension barrier. Something was crawling out.

Not flying.

Not walking.

Just becoming.

The alarm blared across the academy:

"Category Omega Intrusion Detected. All active students report to Battle Station One."

Brian and the others sprinted into formation, students deploying, instructors shouting orders.

Then the creature stepped through.

💀 Scene 1 – The Voidborn

It was humanoid — but twisted.

Skin like liquid metal. A black aura that cracked the ground beneath it. Eyes like glass marbles of ink.

And it spoke.

Not in words — in memories. In emotions. In pressure.

Hundreds of students dropped to their knees just by looking at it.

It moved like fog. Like hate given shape.

David hit it with a full-force punch.

It didn't flinch.

Declan launched drones. They melted.

Niko and Alcino blitzed it from both sides — it swatted them away.

Hayk tried to rewrite the environment — it bypassed his code.

It walked toward the academy gates.

Until Brian stepped in front of it.

He didn't say a word.

He just stood there.

And the monster paused.

For the first time… it stopped.

It looked at Brian.

And it smiled.

Then it spoke — with a voice not its own.

> "Cam says hello."

🌑 Scene 2 – Aftermath

The instructors managed to lock the monster in a temporary spirit cage. It wouldn't last.

But the message was clear.

This wasn't just a monster.

It was a messenger.

Someone — something — had found the academy.

Someone with power like Brian's.

And he wasn't hiding in the shadows anymore.

He was testing them.
