Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"Oh, yes, yes. This is Dormitory 7, welcome!" After processing the girl's question, Xiaolong approached her with a friendly smile.

"My name is Yang Xiaolong, what's yours?" Extending her hand to greet her, Xiaolong asked with a bright smile.

"Hello, my name is Xiao Wu. Nice to meet you." Looking at that cheerful smile, the bunny girl felt less nervous and smiled back at the blonde girl.

"Nice to meet you too, Xiao Wu. Come on, let me introduce you to everyone here." Holding the girl's small hand, Xiaolong gently pulled her toward the group of children who had been watching them.

"This here is Tang Wutong. We came from the same village, and she's also a very close friend of mine." Standing in front of the group, Xiaolong wasted no time and started introducing the other children, beginning with her blue-haired friend.

"And this miserable-looking one is Wang Sheng. He was the former leader of this dorm, but since he lost to me, he isn't anymore." After Xiao Wu exchanged greetings with Wutong, the red-eyed girl moved on to introduce the sulking boy whose face was still slightly swollen.

One by one, each child was introduced in Xiaolong's own unique and amusing way, which made Xiao Wu quickly feel more at ease in the dorm and even laugh at some of the strange ways Xiaolong described her new dormmates. With the introductions done, the children gathered close together, chatting excitedly.

While they talked, Xiaolong noticed the subtle smile the little butterfly was giving her. Tilting her head in confusion, she saw Wutong discreetly point toward Wang Sheng. Understanding the silent message immediately, Xiaolong sighed, already guessing what her friend meant.

"By the way, Xiao Wu, Dormitory 7 has a rule... even though it's kind of weird: the leader of the dorm is decided by fighting the newcomers. The strongest person leads... Do you want to fight here or outside?" Sighing, Xiaolong interrupted the conversation to explain.

"Hmm... Let's fight right here." Hearing that, Xiao Wu's pink eyes sparkled with excitement, and after thinking for a moment, she chose to fight inside. Seeing that the two girls were about to duel, the other children backed away, watching with eager anticipation. After all, who doesn't like a good fight?

The two girls stepped back to get ready. While Xiao Wu simply stood there with a cheerful smile, Xiaolong took a fighting stance—her left palm stretched forward, right palm slightly pulled back. Taking a deep breath, she launched herself toward Xiao Wu with determination.

When she reached the bunny girl, Xiaolong clenched her fist and aimed a punch at her face. But Xiao Wu didn't panic. She elegantly dodged to the side with charming grace, leaving the spectators surprised. Looking into Xiaolong's widened eyes, the bunny girl chuckled and swiftly delivered a kick aimed at her torso.

With no time for shock, Xiaolong used her free arm to block the blow, but the impact was stronger than she expected. She was pushed backward, colliding with a pillar. Stunned by the strength and the sting in her arm, Xiaolong realized she couldn't afford to underestimate the girl in pink.

Taking a deep breath, she used the pillar behind her for leverage and lunged back at Xiao Wu. This time, wanting to catch her off guard, she faked a punch—pretending to miss—and instead used her hand to brace on Xiao Wu's shoulder, launching a sudden knee strike toward her face.

Just as Xiaolong had hoped, Xiao Wu was caught off guard by the feint. With no time to dodge, the bunny girl raised her hands to block the blow while hopping backward to reduce the impact.

Landing on the floor, Xiao Wu felt her hands tingle slightly. Her smile tilted mischievously. For some reason, that hit made her even more excited. Letting out a soft giggle, she realized she should have gone all out from the beginning.

Grinning with renewed energy, Xiao Wu dashed toward Xiaolong at a speed that took the blonde girl by surprise. As she approached, Xiao Wu swept in with a low kick. Xiaolong instinctively jumped to avoid it.

But that jump left her exposed.

That was exactly what Xiao Wu wanted. As soon as Xiaolong landed, the bunny girl struck with a straight punch.

Unable to react in time, Xiaolong was hit hard in the chest and went rolling across the floor, pain exploding through her ribs. The sheer strength behind the blow was overwhelming.

Tumbling halfway across the room, Xiaolong got to her feet, gasping for breath and grimacing in pain. Deep down, she knew Xiao Wu was stronger. But she refused to give up easily—this fight was a valuable experience.

Seeing Xiaolong's determined gaze, Xiao Wu and the other children were impressed. Still, it was clear to everyone who the winner would be. From the beginning, Xiao Wu had completely dominated the blonde girl.

And just as they expected, when Xiao Wu delivered her final move, Xiaolong had no chance.

The bunny girl began building momentum, leaping from pillar to pillar, her speed increasing rapidly—only Tang Wutong's sharp eyes could keep up with her movements.

Once she gained enough speed, Xiao Wu suddenly changed direction, appearing right in front of Xiaolong. The blonde didn't even have time to react before she was struck by a devastating double kick.

The impact knocked all the air out of Xiaolong's lungs, sending her flying across the room with shocking force. She crashed into one of the walls, which cracked and dented from the sheer power.

With the fight over, the faces of the children—except for Wutong—went pale with fear. But soon enough, they all rushed to gather around their new leader, showering her with praise for her incredible display.

"How are you feeling?" While the others were fawning over Xiao Wu, the little butterfly approached her fallen friend and asked curiously.

"I feel awful," Xiaolong groaned, barely able to speak through the pain.

"I see... Use your Mysterious Heaven techniques to heal first. Then we can reflect on the fight together. How about that?" Wutong offered gently, glancing back toward the center of the room.

'I think... even if it were me, I wouldn't have been able to win.' Watching Xiao Wu's precise movements, the butterfly girl was stunned by the realization.

While Tang Wutong processed this, Xiao Wu gazed at the two girls with sparkling eyes. She had quickly realized that among everyone there, these two were the most interesting by far.

'Hehe~ I'm so glad I came to this academy.' Already planning to get closer to the two of them later, Xiao Wu's happy smile grew even brighter.
