Three days passed...
On a bright morning, the sun was just rising and Hinata was already practicing her sword skills. The birds jolt awake by a hit on the tree and flew away, Free was still asleep, so was half the village.
The sun slowly rose and Sylvia's eyes twitched and opens, she sat up, yawned and look around the room. She wore her clothes and opens the window, sun lit up her room with brightness. She gave a kiss to Free and went downstairs.
'' Lady Sylvia, early as always'' Lina greeted, the fire was already lit, and the pot and vegetables were already cutted, Sylvia gave a nod and helped Lina on making breakfast.
''Six hundred seventy five. Six hundred seventy six...'' Hinata on the garden was swinging her sword again and again. Free was still asleep in his room and Hina was snoring loudly on the other room and Elina just woke up.
As the sun rises, Free woke up and he stretch his body, putting his clothes on and fold his sheet, then he threw them to the basket of dirty clothes. Coming out of his room he went downstairs where Hinata was already eating her breakfast, she tilt her head toward him.
''Brother, you're awake'' she said, then continues to eat her breakfast, Free gave a nod and sat down on dining beside her, Sylvia gave him his breakfast and he takes a bite.
Sylvia leaned in intently waiting for a comment, but Free was eating his breakfast quietly and eyes still half lidded, after a long silence, Sylvia turned away with a disappointed face. Hinata gave him a side eye but he wasn't looking at her and in frustration she gave a kick on his knees and his eyes jolt open. ''A–!!!!" Before he could even scream, Hinata shoved a bread in his mouth, Free grab her hand and push her away, taking out the bread from his mouth. He stared at her coughing slightly and Hinata signal him to look at Sylvia walking away with a disappointed face, her pointy ears down, he understands what she was trying to say.
''Ah, Sylvia!" He called out, her head turn to him. ''The food is delicious as always'' he praised her with a smile, her dissapointed face turns into a joyful one, she walk close to him and gave him another plate of stew.
''Eat as much as you like'' she said, feeding him with her hand, Free happily ate the food, but then, Hinata steal a bite from the spoon Sylvia was feeding him.
''H–hey!!" He called out, Hinata looked away chewing her food .
''I earn it.... Stupid brother'' she said giving him a side eye, then she eats her food again but also takes Free's part of breakfast, he just stayed silent, Sylvia smiled hesitantly, she gave a bowl of soup to Hinata and exits the dining room.
''I should be more loud'' he muttered, Hinata tilt her head toward him and he look away.
In the afternoon, the tailor was in the living room, he handed Free's suit to him. He takes it and check it from top to bottom, the collar was good, and the suit was looking good, the neck tie was red and short, etc...
Meanwhile, in Elina's room, everyone were present, Lina too had finished sewing Sylvia's dress, all white with glitters and a flower on the hips, the heels too had been done. She gave Sylvia her dress and exits the room waiting for Sylvia to change.
''Now, come outtttt~'' she muttered, Sylvia came out, her cheeks flushed and fidgeting with her fingers. She was looking flawless, the dress fitted her perfectly, her glitters like diamonds and heels making her looking taller.
''Woah!!! Mama's looking like a princess!" Hina screamed in amazement, she hugged Sylvia and spun her around like a doll.
''I want that dress too'' Hinata whispered to Elina with jealousy in her voice, Elina nodded in agreement, staring at Sylvia with sparkly eyes.
Downstairs, Free got up from his seat and went upstairs and saw Sylvia in her dress and both blushed, Free jumped into his room and Sylvia sat down and hug her knees, in embarassment.
''Oooohhhhh, he saw you in that~'' Lina teased making Sylvia more embarassed. The tailor came upstairs and was confused seeing the scene infront of him.
''What happened?" He asked, after a while.... Everyone were now waiting for Free to come out from his room but he wasn't coming out even after half an hour.
Lina knock on his door but no response came, Hinata hit the door with a wooden sword, she hit the door multiple times but he only gave one knock as a response, a vein in her head popped. She left and for a moment and came back with a real sword.
''1. 2. 3...Haiyaaaaa!!'' she hit the door with the sword and slice them in half in the first hit. ''Brother!!!" she called out, entering in the room Lina, Hina, Elina and Sylvia peeked in. Inside Free was in a blue suit and a blouse, a red tie on his neck and his hair neatly comb.
Everyone stared in disbelief, his clothes were unfamiliar but they were looking majestic. ''So elegant....'' the tailor muttered, Free turned to them slightly embarassed.
'it's embarassing wearing a suit after fifteen years' he thought, his eyes turn to Sylvia was still in her white dress peeking at him, she was blushing seeing him. Free scratch the back of his neck, there was a awkward silence. ''Can i change now?'' he asked, everyone gave a hesitating nod and went outside the room. ''Also Sylvia can you wait a little'' he asked, she paused on her heels and turn to him.
''O–Okay...'' she nodded, walking outside the room, he quickly change his suit back to his casual clothes and comes outside the room.
Outside Sylvia was waiting with Lina and others, the tailor had left earlier, Sylvia was fidgeting with her fingers and then Free came out in his casual clothes.
''Sylvia, stand here'' he made her stand infront of him, he take out a blue neck ribbon and tied it in her neck, he then used water magic and showed her the image the ribbon on her neck, it had a white bloom design.
''I–it's...'' her words stuck on her throat, she put a hand on her neck and trace the ribbon.
''You look beautiful'' he praised, he put both his hand on her shoulder and stand behind her, Lina and other look at both of them with a teasing expression. ''N–now let's go and have lunch'' he said, Sylvia went to Hina's room to change her clothes back and everyone went downstairs, Free glance one last time at her and goes to the dining room.
The the afternoon passed and midnight came, everyone were on their room, Free was wide awake, so was Sylvia. Both were staring at eachother, three more day before the party and tomorrow was the day they were going to leave the village, and go to a noble's house for the party and the only commoner in the party.
''I–i can't sleep'' she said, Free nodded and sat up, he put a hand on his knees and looked towards the closet where hid suit and her dress for the party was.
''I can't too'' he said, holding her hand tightly, she sat up leaned her head in his chest, Free cheeks flushed a little.
''I'm nervous'' she said, Free patted her head and reassured her, both were nervous and uneasy about the party and one doubt in their head, will we be fine?.
It was going to be a long week, and a very uneasy one, cause they knew, that the nobles have know that the chief of Hayan, the biggest, most fertile and richest village was coming to the party and they will target either him or his wife to get the village's resources and it's fertility.
