Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: After Transmigrating Into a Novel, I Became the Only Junior Sister in a Den of Villains

"Niannian, wake up quickly! Otherwise, First Senior Brother is going to lose it again!"

Xu Nian felt someone patting her cheek. She struggled to open her eyes, only to be greeted by a messy-haired, strikingly handsome man with a slightly deranged look in his eyes—his face was way too close.

"Ugh…" She tried to speak, but her throat was dry and her head was throbbing.

"She's awake!"

A bright, excited voice exploded next to her ear. The next moment, she was surrounded by a group of breathtakingly good-looking men and women.

"Thank the heavens, Niannian's finally awake!"

"Thank goodness, you really scared us!"

"I told you she'd be fine! I've been feeding her my blood for three days!"

Xu Nian: ???

Blood? Whose blood? Who are you people?!

She couldn't help scanning her surroundings. The room was decorated in an antique, elegant style, filled with the rich scent of medicinal herbs and spiritual energy. She looked down and saw that she was wearing a green robe, the kind worn by female disciples. Embroidered on the sleeve was a single character: "Xuan."

"Xuanqing Sect?" she murmured in confusion.

And then—boom—a flood of memories surged into her mind like a tidal wave.

She had transmigrated into a novel!

She remembered clearly: the book was called Chronicles of the Azure Xuan, a cultivation novel she had just finished binge-reading. The protagonist was a genius from humble beginnings who rose to the top, defeating countless villains and becoming the strongest cultivator in the world.

And the first group of villains he stepped on to rise to glory… were none other than the elite disciples of Xuanqing Sect—the very same group now excitedly crowding around her!

First Senior Brother: Shen Wang. Future deranged sword cultivator. Raised his blade against the world and was eventually slain by the protagonist atop a mountain of corpses.Second Senior Brother: Lu Jin. A genius in alchemy and poisons. Massacred too many, ultimately hunted down by the righteous path.Third Senior Brother: Bai Qi. Seemingly gentle, actually a cruel mastermind. One of the book's final bosses.Fourth Senior Brother: Xie Linyuan. An ice spiritual root cultivator with volatile emotions—rumored to bring natural disasters when angered.

Wasn't this just a den of future villains?! How did a background NPC like her end up here?!

"Niannian? Why aren't you saying anything?" Shen Wang frowned, pressing a hand to her forehead. "Still feverish? Lu Jin, go make another batch of medicine."

"I-I'm fine…" Xu Nian finally snapped out of her shock, swallowed hard, and forced a stiff smile. "Senior Brothers, I'm just… really touched…"

—How the hell am I supposed to survive in a group like this?!

Before she could even think about escape plans, her "dear" senior brothers had already pinned her gently back onto the bed, stuffed her mouth with spiritual fruit, fed her medicine, and even warmed her feet with a spirit-powered heater.

"From now on, don't go wandering around. The bastard who ambushed you is dead."

"You were unconscious for days. We took turns guarding you and didn't let anyone near."

"You need to report every time you go out. Understood?"

"Y-yes…"

Xu Nian nodded mechanically while silently spiraling inside:Why do these 'villains'… seem kind of different from what I remember?

—And more importantly… they seem really easy to please?
