The team descended onto the cracked surface, their boots crunching through blackened dust and remnants of shattered buildings. Strange, broken tech lay half-buried under rubble. Towering ruins leaned like skeletons of a lost civilization.
LYRA (softly)This place… it feels like it used to be beautiful.
KAEL (clenching his fists)What happened here?
Zayn scanned a burnt-out terminal and froze.
ZAYN (grimly)There were other Sentinels. Nova users. This was once a base like ours. Maybe older. Maybe the first.
A low hum echoed across the plain. The dust began to swirl, and then—

INTENSE BATTLE BEGINS
The Sentinels transformed instantly.

🌸 Lyra fought furiously to protect Daiki, using swift, graceful strikes—but Synkris seemed to toy with her, using corrupted versions of her own Nova techniques.
⚫ Jett struck from the shadows, but Synkris's aura flared and repelled him mid-attack.
🟠 Daiki—without his Morpher—tried to help from behind cover, directing the others via comms and analyzing her weaknesses from afar.
SYNKRIS (snarling)You are children playing warrior. This power is ancient. It answers to the strong.
ZAYNYou're wrong. The Nova Force doesn't answer to strength. It chooses it.
SYNKRISThen it chose poorly.
MID-BATTLE TURNING POINT
Zayn sent an encrypted signal to Daiki.
ZAYN (through comms)The corrupted shards are linked through a pulse node—if we can short-circuit it, we can weaken her for a few seconds.
DAIKISay no more.
Using nearby tech wreckage, Daiki rigged a crude Nova Disruptor.
DAIKI (yelling)Hey flame-boss! Heads up!
He threw the disruptor directly between the corrupted shards—BOOM! A chain surge of light shot through Synkris's energy halo.
She screamed in fury.
SYNKRISWhat—!?
KAEL (charging)NOW!
The team unleashed a synchronized Nova Pulse Strike, forcing Synkris back—but not defeating her.
Breathing heavily, she looked at them with new intensity.
SYNKRIS (growling)You're evolving. I like that.
With a wave of dark light, she vanished.
