INT. NOVA INFIRMARY – NIGHT
Lyra lay still on the bed, her breathing steady but weak. The faint glow of the shard necklace around her neck flickered erratically, as though torn between light and shadow.
The team gathered, tense. Kael stood with folded arms, his gaze never leaving Lyra.
DAIKI(frustrated)We have every alloy, every crystal… everything except the last piece. How can we stabilize it without risking her life?
KAEL(soft but firm)There is one thing left. The shard… your mother's shard. The one Lyra carries.
The others turned, eyes widening as the necklace pulsed brighter at the mention.
RYANA(hesitant)But if we take it—won't that weaken her even more?
KAELNot take. Purify. That shard isn't just material… it's bound to her mothers spirit. If we can draw out its essence, it can balance the Resonance Device.
ZAYNAnd how exactly do we do that? It's not like we can just… crack it open.
Zevor stepped forward, his voice echoing like ancient stone.
ZEVORYou cannot claim this by force. To touch the soul of a shard, you must journey where body cannot tread — a sacred path, a spiritual trial.
VEYRA(nodding)A place where truth is revealed, and hearts are weighed. Few have walked it. Fewer have returned unchanged.
Daiki clenched his fists, looking at his sister's fragile form.
DAIKI(determined)Then we'll go. All of us. If this shard is tied to her… it's tied to me too.
KAEL(looking around at the others)We go together. No one faces this alone.
The team nodded.
INT. NOVA BASE – RITUAL CHAMBER
Zevor placed Lyra's shard into a crystalline pedestal. Circles of ancient runes glowed across the chamber floor, filling the air with a hum that resonated deep in their bones.
ZEVORClose your eyes. Let the shard call you. You will walk its memories… its truth. But beware — the shard shows not just what was, but what may be.
As the Rangers placed their hands on the pedestal, light engulfed them.
INT. SHARD REALM – TIMELESS SPACE
They opened their eyes to find themselves in a vast, star-lit field. Fragments of memories drifted in the air — images of Lyra and Daiki's mother smiling, holding them as children, and then slowly fading into darkness.
RYANA(whispering)This place… it feels alive.
A voice echoed through the stars — soft, familiar, but laced with sorrow.
VOICE OF MOTHERChildren of Nova… seekers of light… will you bear the burden of my shard?
The ground rippled. From the shadows rose a dark reflection of the Rangers themselves, twisted and hollow-eyed.
ZAYN(drawing his weapon)Figures. Nothing's ever simple.
KAEL(steadying his stance)They're not enemies. They're us — our doubts, our fears. If we can't face them, we can't claim the shard.
The team charged forward, clashing with their mirrored selves. Every strike was like fighting their own hesitation. Daiki stumbled when his double sneered:
DARK DAIKIYou'll fail Lyra and your mother , just like you always do. You're not strong enough.
Daiki roared, shoving him back.
DAIKII'll never give up on Lyra and our mother. Not now, not ever!
His double shattered into light. One by one, the others overcame their shadows.
Finally, the mother's voice returned, warm and proud.
VOICE OF MOTHERYou have faced yourselves… and chosen truth. Take my shard's light, and carry it forward.
The flickering shard in Lyra's necklace glowed brilliantly, splitting into two streams of energy — one flowing back into Lyra, stabilizing her, the other infusing Daiki's Resonance Device.
INT. NOVA INFIRMARY – NIGHT
The team snapped back into the real world, breathless. Lyra stirred faintly, her shard glowing steadily now.
Daiki clutched the Resonance Device, now completed, tears in his eyes.
DAIKI(softly, to Lyra)Hang on, sis. I'll bring our mother back… no matter what it takes.
Kael placed a hand on his shoulder, giving the smallest of nods.
KAELWe're ready. Next time we face the Dark Sentinel… we'll save her.
