After leaving Hiruzen's office, Kazuki returned to Mito's residence.
"You're back." Mito greeted Kazuki with a kind smile, inviting him to sit down.
Once he was seated, Mito spoke, "I didn't expect you would use Susanoo to scatter Kirigakure's army."
"Since they chose to invade the Land of Fire and become enemies with Konoha, they must pay the price. The Third Mizukage is dead, but shouldn't he be dead?" Kazuki smiled noncommittally.
"This is how ninjas are. If they aren't our own, they are enemies. If we don't kill them today, they will eventually confront us in missions or on the battlefield. Letting them go is unfair to our ninjas."
"Is that so? In that regard, you are different from Hashirama, and more like Tobirama." Mito smiled with emotion, not commenting on Kazuki's actions as wrong.
Both she and Hashirama had taken many lives. Mito herself had killed many people during the First Great Ninja War, so she was in no position to criticize Kazuki.
Kazuki said, "As a leader, the Second Hokage was clearly more excellent. The First Hokage was more suited to be a spiritual leader."
"In reality, that's true. As far as I know, during the First Hokage's era, many of Konoha's systems were actually established by the Second Hokage."
Kazuki wouldn't say Hashirama was a mascot. At least Tobirama still listened to Hashirama. If anything, Tobirama was more like Hashirama's external brain.
Madara also had an external brain, but it was eliminated by Tobirama. In war, you need to take out the opponent's leader first, that certainly makes a lot of sense.
After Izuna died, Madara's actions became increasingly erratic. At least, if Izuna hadn't died, Madara wouldn't have chosen to initiate the Infinite Tsukuyomi Plan.
"Hmm, how long do you plan to stay in Konoha next?" Mito then asked Kazuki.
"I don't know. At least on the surface, I need to recover from injuries in Konoha. After all, it's reasonable for me to have some after-effects after using such a large-scale Susanoo, isn't it?" Kazuki hinted at Mito with a meaningful tone.
Mito hadn't told Hiruzen some things, they were her and Kazuki's secrets.
"It seems you want to bait Madara out, don't you?" Mito looked at Kazuki with a gentle expression.
Although this child was not old, he was very clever.
In Mito's mind, Madara was the kind of person who would allow juniors to grow, and then personally defeat them. Only by fighting such strong opponents would it satisfy his desire for battle.
"I also look forward to fighting the strongest person in the Uchiha clan." Kazuki's eyes became filled with longing.
His feelings towards Madara were complex. The other party seemed not to be a good person, but ultimately, he was striving for peace, only to be deceived.
Madara wasn't a bad person. Rather, he was a pure individual who yearned for peace and would stop at nothing to achieve it.
But from his perspective, Madara was not a good person. He had killed Kagami, hadn't he?
Even if Kagami's death had nothing to do with Kazuki, and even if Kagami's death brought him more benefits, Kagami was still his father, and he needed to do something.
This was a stance. If Kazuki could shake hands and cooperate with Madara under such circumstances...
Emm, actually, no one would say much, it would only make Kazuki appear great.
There's no helping it, that's how it's thought of in the Ninja World. Just like when Hashirama and Madara shook hands and cooperated, no one said they lacked backbone. Instead, it was seen as a yearning for peace.
It seems that in the entire Ninja World, when faced with peace, almost everything can be put aside, even one's own life.
This was the main theme set by Hagoromo and Asura for the Ninja World.
Kazuki could not accept or understand such thinking, but if he were to face the Ōtsutsuki, he wouldn't mind bringing Madara along.
If Madara, who had awakened the Rinnegan, knew about the Ōtsutsuki and the truth, he could definitely become a guardian of the Ninja World, just like Sasuke would do in the future.
It seems the Uchiha clan is naturally suited to protect the Ninja World from the shadows.
"He is very strong, never be careless. If he truly obtained Hashirama's power and awakened the Rinnegan, his strength would be considerably greater than it was at the Valley of the End. I hope you don't take it lightly."
Mito thought for a moment and then added, "Moreover, Madara may seem reckless, but when he does many things, he prepares thoroughly. If he intends to attack you, he might very well force your hand through Kushina or me."
"Then Tsunade, who is on the front line, is also very likely." Kazuki raised an eyebrow.
"After all, Tsunade is my teacher, and in the battle against Hanzo, it was known that Tsunade could summon me at any time. Madara wouldn't miss that."
"You be careful."
Mito really wanted to tell Kazuki that if he ever truly encountered danger, he could disregard Tsunade. But Tsunade was her granddaughter after all, so she couldn't bring herself to say such a thing.
"Alright, from now on, you'll stay with this old woman and learn more about Sealing Jutsu. Perhaps it can play a role when you face Madara in the future."
After a pause, Mito continued, "Kushina is too naive. I need you to protect her and pass on the Uzumaki clan's Sealing Jutsu."
"I understand." Kazuki nodded slightly.
"Have you met the Uzumaki clan members who were rescued earlier?"
"Kushina visits them often. They had a difficult life before, and few of them want to continue being ninjas. I hope they can live peacefully in Konoha from now on."
"Before, I thought that with the destruction of Uzushiogakure, the Uzumaki clan could withdraw from the stage of history and live peacefully in the Ninja World, but I was too naive."
