Chapter 284 - Sunagakure's Problem

From Hiruzen's perspective, making Sunagakure pay thirty years of war reparations seemed a bit cruel.

With so much money to compensate, could Sunagakure even continue to exist?

Without several decades of recuperation, Sunagakure couldn't hope to recover. At that point, Sunagakure might be pushed to the brink and fight Konoha to the death.

However, from Tobirama and Kazuki's perspective, if Sunagakure couldn't afford it, then they should just downsize their military. It's about sacrificing others to save oneself. As long as it's other villages that suffer, not their own, that's fine.

As for what Sunagakure would do afterward?

From the moment Kazuki possessed such formidable strength, they no longer had a future. Their future was either to become a tool for the Sage of Six Paths to incite chaos in the Ninja World, or to be directly annihilated by Kazuki.

Hiruzen hesitated for a moment but still followed Kazuki and Tobirama's wishes.

Sunagakure initially disagreed with Konoha's exorbitant demands, but when Hiruzen indicated that Kazuki could visit Sunagakure at any time for a massacre, they hesitated and then chose to negotiate. There was no other way, Kazuki was simply too ruthless.

Sunagakure had people who had witnessed Madara in the past. Now, Kazuki's presence felt just like Madara back then, and it was Madara without Hashirama.

Back then, Madara was constrained by Hashirama. Even if the First Kazekage constantly caused trouble, and even dared to provoke Hashirama, nothing happened. But if it were Madara being provoked, they wouldn't even know how they died.

Those people all knew that provoking Hashirama was not a problem, but provoking Madara meant certain death.

Kazuki was clearly like Madara. In the current Ninja World, if anyone were to say Kazuki had a good temper, then Iwagakure and Kirigakure would have something to say.

In the end, Sunagakure chose to compromise. They only hoped that Kazuki would die quickly. With such strong power at such a young age, he would sooner or later get a Kekkei Genkai illness.

Kazuki didn't care about his reputation for suppressing the Ninja World. In fact, it was better. Although Madara was his opponent and the current super big boss, many of Kazuki's styles were actually very similar to Madara, except that his mind seemed to be better than Madara's. At least Kazuki would not believe in something like the Infinite Tsukuyomi Plan.

When Mito saw Kushina agree to become the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and received Kazuki's approval, she formed a hand seal and then slapped her abdomen. Then she placed her hands on Kushina's abdomen, and a fiery red Chakra continuously surged into Kushina's body.

Kurama cooperated well with Mito and Kushina, after all, it had to give Kazuki some respect.

Moreover, even if it didn't, what could it do?

Hashirama was still nearby. Just Hashirama alone was enough to suppress it. Kurama knew its own strength.

Don't look at how it seemed to be suppressing Hashirama in a fight recently, that was with Mito's help. Its fighting style wasn't as varied as Mito's. If it weren't for Mito, then facing Hashirama would only result in being suppressed or even sealed.

Kurama really couldn't imagine how it should face Hashirama. The other party's restraint over it was simply too great.

Moreover, Kazuki also said that Madara was still alive.

Even if it ran outside, what good would that do?

If Madara found it in the end, wouldn't it be doomed?

Rather than being controlled by Madara, it was better to be inside Kushina. Kurama had already made a pact with Mito, stating that its Jinchuriki space must have good scenery, and the binding should not be too tight.

And it would cooperate with Kushina. For this, both Mito and Kushina were quite reassured by Kurama.

At least Kurama had already shown its sincerity before. They, on their side, also needed to show their sincerity to Kurama.

After all, Kurama was actually quite pitiful. These matters had nothing to do with Kurama itself. It was just a Tailed Beast living carefree on the continent, but because it had enough Chakra, Madara found it, controlled it, fought a great battle with Hashirama, and finally became Konoha's Tailed Beast.

In fact, not just Kurama, but other Tailed Beasts were also quite tragic.

Hashirama constantly spoke of peace, yet he wanted to capture these unrelated Tailed Beasts and distribute them to several countries. In reality, the relationship between Tailed Beasts and humans was not that bad before.

As long as humans didn't bother the Tailed Beasts, the Tailed Beasts generally wouldn't actively bother humans. They wished to be as far away from humans as possible and also had their own habitats. It was just that certain people, for their own power, constantly sought them out, trying to gain corresponding power from them.

Gradually, Tailed Beasts became a collection of natural disasters and hatred. Later, they were found by Hashirama and even distributed to various countries. It would be strange if Tailed Beasts could feel good emotions towards humans.

As Kurama's Chakra continuously poured into Kushina's body, Mito's aura visibly faded.

At this moment, whether it was Tsunade, Nawaki, Kushina, or Kazuki, their eyes were filled with sorrow, even though they all knew that whenever they missed Mito, they could use Edo Tensei to bring her back. Anyway, they had a large number of White Zetsu, so performing Edo Tensei was no longer considered an "inhumane" act.

At this point, even Hashirama couldn't say what was wrong with Edo Tensei, as the material consumed for Edo Tensei was White Zetsu. And this existence, which was neither human nor plant, seemed to be able to continuously grow and multiply.

If Hashirama continued to nag, then he would be somewhat stubborn. Moreover, ever since he died, Hashirama found that his will was not as firm as before.

Now, he had begun to ponder whether his one-country, one-village system was truly correct.
