Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 Hell Splitting Dog

Outside Uzushiogakure, a mountain-sized Spirit Turtle was slowly crawling towards the Village.

Its shell was double-layered, and the plates on its belly could open to form a ramp, allowing Uzushiogakure villagers to enter its belly by climbing the ramp and disappearing from view.

The Uzushiogakure Spirit Turtle was actually the Village's mobile shelter.

The Spirit Turtle continuously spewed strong winds from its mouth, blowing away the Cloud Ninja attacking its head.

As for its hard shell, the Cloud Ninja's methods were ineffective.

Night Light looked at the Spirit Turtle, pondering, "What if someone impersonates an Uzushiogakure villager and enters the shelter, and the internal defenses are insufficient? Wouldn't that be the end?"

The Spirit Turtle's movements were extremely slow, making it unable to distinguish whether the people beneath its belly were Cloud Ninja Spies or villagers.

After a few minutes, the Spirit Turtle left large patches of bloodstains in its wake.

The vibrations from within caused the Spirit Turtle to wail repeatedly.

It opened the plates on its belly, and piles of corpses tumbled out.

Cloud Ninja had infiltrated the double-layered shell's shelter and were massacring its inhabitants.

Behind the Spirit Turtle, layers of corpses were left, their throats slit, with blood all around their necks.

Cloud Ninja, when dealing with civilians, preferred simple throat-slitting, a technique they were highly skilled at.

In the sky, Yatagarasu continuously flew by, dropping Exploding Tags on densely packed Kirigakure.

The bird eggs glowed red, and the Fire Release Chakra within them exploded violently; each Exploding Tag had the power of two or three Exploding Tags.

The energy of the Four Violet Flames Formation was being consumed by the Kirigakure's Water Release, and Yatagarasu primarily attacked those Kirigakure who were jointly releasing Water Release.

After a group of Kirigakure was initially killed by the explosions, the Kirigakure found a way to counter it.

Some Kirigakure used Water Release, causing thick geysers to erupt from the ground, which blasted Yatagarasu's Exploding Tags into the air, making them explode mid-air.

There were too many Kirigakure; Yatagarasu's harassment effect was mediocre.

Night Light secretly shook his head; the area outside the Four Violet Flames Formation was too tragic.

Negotiations near the Four Violet Flames Formation made no progress.

The Uzumaki Clan could not manage the lives of the villagers, and the Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja continued to kill them.

For three hours, the Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja were highly efficient, almost wiping out all the villagers.

The great river carried away wave after wave of corpses, and downstream, something unknown happened, causing the river to become clogged, with bodies piling up on the surface for hundreds of meters.

There were even more corpses around the Spirit Turtle, hindering the sluggish Spirit Turtle.

Its massive size brought a mountain-like weight, and its turtle feet accidentally stepped on unavoidable civilian corpses, crushing them into pulp.

To destroy the Uzumaki Clan's will to resist, the Cloud Ninja, after exhausting the Spirit Turtle, used steel wires tied together to flip the Spirit Turtle onto its back.

Exploding Tags and Ninja tools continuously attacked the Spirit Turtle.

The Spirit Turtle retracted its head and four legs into its shell, but the shell's seams were not tight, and the Cloud Ninja still found a way; the Spirit Turtle's blood continuously seeped from the seams.

Coupled with the Lightning Release's electric shock, the Spirit Turtle was unable to move.

The wails from inside the shell sounded exceptionally muffled and tragic.

After holding on for a full five hours, the Four Violet Flames Formation exploded with a roar.

The barrier shattered, transforming into a heatwave and shockwave that rushed in all directions.

Surrounding houses collapsed, and the Cloud Ninja and Kirigakure were startled, with many dying in the shockwave.

Even more Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja excitedly rushed in.

Night Light put down his binoculars and couldn't help but look at Danzo Shimura again.

Danzo Shimura remained unmoved.

The will of the Anbu was as cold as iron. The casualties of these allied Villages were irrelevant.

A second Four Violet Flames Formation appeared!

This Four Violet Flames Formation was smaller in area, encircling the Uzumaki Clan's ancestral shrine.

Night Light looked through his binoculars; there were many female relatives and children around the Uzumaki Clan's ancestral shrine.

Presumably, Vortex Kushina was among them.

Besides the female relatives and children, everyone, including the clan leader, remained outside the Four Violet Flames Formation.

The clan leader stood at the very front, forming hand signs, and slammed his hands onto the ground.

Four large plumes of white smoke appeared around him.

The Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja all stopped, observing the situation, wondering what other trump cards the Uzumaki Clan had.

From within the white smoke, four large Summoning Beasts suddenly charged out.

Split Dog, Charging Rhino, Giant Centipede, and Fighting Bull.

Night Light was somewhat surprised, "Aren't these giant Summoning Beasts all the Summoning Beasts of Nagato's Animal Path later on?"

No wonder Nagato had so many powerful Summoning Beasts; it turned out they were all accumulated by the Uzumaki Clan.

It's just that why weren't these accumulations left to Vortex Kushina, but instead ended up in the hands of an Uzumaki orphan from the Land of Rain?

Ordinary Ninja could not contend with giant Summoning Beasts.

Split Dog easily bit and killed Ninja one by one. Suikazan Fuguki personally intervened and repelled Split Dog, but Split Dog did not entangle, splitting into two and rushing towards other Kirigakure.

Any attack that Split Dog couldn't withstand would only make more Split Dog.

The smaller Split Dog were more agile; Kirigakure were bitten in half one by one, their dog heads violently shaking, tearing the Kirigakure into two pieces.

Intestines hung from Split Dog's teeth, looking exceptionally bloody.

The Charging Rhino had thick hide on its body; Kunai and Ninja tools were useless against it.

It lowered its head and charged everywhere, ramming and sending the Cloud Ninja flying or killing them.

The Kirigakure's Water Encampment Wall, in front of such a Summoning Beast, was like a small waterfall, easily breached.

The Giant Centipede used its size to cut off the battlefield, surrounding a small group of Kirigakure behind it, making it convenient for the Vortex Ninja to fight localized outnumbered battles.

Adamantine Chains flashed, and many Kirigakure died under the sealing jutsu.

With the help of the giant Summoning Beasts, the Vortex Ninja launched a beautiful counterattack.

The Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja suffered increasingly heavy casualties.

Night Light mused, "The Uzumaki Clan is about to turn the tide."

Given Danzo's nature, wouldn't Konoha have to go down and help the Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja next?

An Advisor opened a sealing scroll, filled with Cloud Ninja vests and headbands.

Just as Night Light had guessed, the Anbu began to prepare, about to enter the fray.

Disguising themselves as Ninja from other Villages was a common tactic for the Anbu.

After shedding suspicion, they could act without scruple.

However, Captain Huang Quan discovered a new situation and halted the Advisor's actions.

Upstream of the great river, a boat appeared.

The boat was very fast, swiftly entering Uzushiogakure.

A person stood at the bow of the boat, their hair long, eyes closed.

More importantly, he was wearing the Mizukage's ceremonial robe!

The Third Mizukage!

Unexpectedly, the Mizukage himself had come to the battle of Uzushiogakure.

Every Kage leaving their Village represented an extremely important event.

Danzo moved, taking two steps forward.

It was evident that Danzo was also serious at this moment.

The Uzumaki Clan's attempt to seal the wild Three-Tails truly stirred up a hornet's nest; Hidden Mist Village came to retaliate against Uzushiogakure at all costs.

They promised the Cloud Ninja a high reward and showed their determination to destroy the Village, engaging in a great battle with Uzushiogakure.

Not only that, this action also angered the Konoha higher-ups; when negotiations failed, the Konoha higher-ups decided to take a hard line, and Danzo brought people to seize Vortex Kushina.

I wonder if the Uzumaki Clan will complain to the First Hokage, asking why he gave the Tailed Beasts to the Great Ninja Villages but didn't leave one for the Uzumaki Clan.

Night Light couldn't help but tug at his collar, wondering if he, as an Anbu, would be silenced by Danzo after guessing the truth.

The danger came not only from the Kirigakure and Cloud Ninja but also from within the Anbu.

Night Light carefully observed with his binoculars, wondering what abilities the Third Mizukage possessed.
