The hallways of Rosevale Academy were practically deserted at this hour.

"This is insane," Talia muttered, yellow eyes darting around at every corner.
"Too late to back out now, princess," Aegis replied, grinning over her shoulder.
Liora walked between them, one hand holding Talia's, the other trailing along the wall.

They reached the East Wing dormitories without incident.
