Prologue the human game

In a small town called Westward,

secluded by forest,

far from any city,

where fog covered the streets when night fell.

Rocky roads. Wooden houses.

And in the center, a clock tower that rang every hour.

The population was small.

The villagers all knew each other.

But that night—

two translucent figures leaked from the shadows,

circling around the tower,

hovering in the dark,

whispering about something...

Voices echoing yet only they could hear them.

One of them, a shadow called Nemorak,

spoke first. His voice, ghostly and deep.

"Shall we participate in a game?"

The other, known as Malvier, flickered like smoke.

"A game of humans?"

"Yes... a murder mystery,"

Nemorak replied, his tone filled with pleasure.

"How intriguing. What will I be?"

Malvier's eyes gleamed beneath the moonlight.

"A task. Kill five humans without getting caught.

Then you will be the winner."

Nemorak chuckled.

"That is easy.

Then your task shall be...

to make a girl fall in love with you, as a human.

Only when she kisses you,

will your victory be sealed.

But. you cannot shift from one form to another.

You must stay as one."

Malvier scoffed.

"Fine.

But you shall not kill the sheriff.

Nor the girl I choose."

Nemorak smirked in the darkness.

"And the prize for the winner?"

Malvier's shadow curled with delight.

"This town."

The clock struck midnight.

The bell rang through the whole town.

Let the game... begin.
