"Respected guest, we've arrived. Please disembark here. We look forward to seeing you again."
The chocolate-cream ship slowed to a gentle stop, its tone cheerful as it bid farewell to Shirogai.
"Haha, you've worked hard," Shirogai said, stepping off the ship first.
Minister of Beans, Daifuku, followed behind him.
"The user of the Squeeze-Squeeze Fruit," Shirogai noted as his eyes landed on Juice Minister Smoothie, one of the Sweet Commanders. The silver-haired woman smiled gracefully at him from a short distance away.
In the anime, this striking woman with her long legs and calm allure had left quite an impression on him.
The pleasant chime of the system echoed in his mind.
Shirogai chuckled inwardly.
That Devil Fruit ability would surely be a hit with Nami, Robin, and even Chopper.
"Dear guest, Totto Land cheers for you!"
"Welcome! Welcome!"
"Respected guest, please try my deliciousness!"
Suddenly, joyful voices and melodies filled the air. Musical instruments floated by themselves, playing bright, festive tunes without a single musician in sight. Drinks and treats hovered eagerly around Shirogai, hoping he'd take a taste.
"Guest, please step on me! It is my greatest honor!"
A red carpet rolled itself out from afar, unfurling smoothly until it reached his feet.
"Respected guest, please allow me to apologize."
Smoothie, now standing at her full height of over four meters, bowed deeply. Her expression was calm, but there was a trace of guilt in her voice.
"Because a small group of filthy intruders invaded Totto Land, I mistook you for one of them and attacked your ship. Please do not blame Mama's invitation for my ignorance."
"So that's what happened."
Shirogai looked over the silver-haired beauty before him, who truly had the figure of a goddess, and smiled. "Since it was a misunderstanding, there's nothing to hold against you."
"You are truly magnanimous," Smoothie said, straightening up. She made a graceful gesture, her proud posture accentuating her charm. "Mama is waiting for you in the castle's reception hall. Please, follow me."
Shirogai smiled lightly. "Alright, lead the way."
"Smoothie-sama is being so gentle today…"
Several of Charlotte Linlin's children whispered among themselves, surprised to see the usually stern Sweet Commander acting so politely.
Only Daifuku had a guess why.
Could this guy really be a Yonko-level powerhouse, as he claimed? No... impossible.
Despite his doubts, he kept a composed smile as he guided the way.
"Neigh!"
Nine cream horses snorted proudly before them, pulling an elegant cake carriage. Their bodies glistened with sugar and frosting, exuding a strange sense of strength.
"Respected guest, please don't rush. We'll arrive at Mama's Cake Castle very soon," a sweet voice called from within the carriage — another Homies.
Daifuku took the reins while Smoothie joined Shirogai inside.
The interior was lavish, the scent of sugar thick in the air. Smoothie sat opposite him, crossing her long legs with grace as she pulled the curtain aside to reveal the colorful city outside.
"Esteemed guest, is this your first time in Totto Land?" she asked.
"Our Totto Land follows Mama's vision of equality — where everyone can eat happily, free from hunger and discrimination. Our citizens are forever grateful to Mama, who saved them from misery and gave them a peaceful life."
After Big Mom received the Gorosei's report on The Plunderer, Shirogai, she had shared it only with her three Sweet Commanders. Smoothie remembered it clearly — the records described him as righteous, calm, and composed.
She knew winning his favor would be key if Mama truly wanted him to join their ranks.
"Indeed," Shirogai said, gazing out the window. "Big Mom's efforts in that regard are impressive."
Outside, the streets were alive with life. Talking desserts and candy people bustled happily under the warm sun.
"Papa, slower! I'm too full to walk!"
"Silly one, I told you to eat less."
"The sunshine's perfect today! My chocolate mustache is melting again!"
"Hahaha! You remind me of Lady White Chocolate — she forgot sunscreen last time and turned into Lady Dark Chocolate by nightfall!"
The laughter was warm and endless. The sight felt more like a fairy tale than reality — a world where food and people coexisted in harmony.
"That's right," Smoothie said softly. "Mama never holds back her kindness. Even the finest pastries made by top chefs are shared equally among every citizen."
"If it's truly as you say," Shirogai replied, "then Totto Land would surely expand several times over."
He turned his gaze back to her, smiling faintly. "Every nation has its strengths and weaknesses. You've shown me the strengths — so what about the flaws?"
"The flaw…" Smoothie's tone turned thoughtful. "If we continue expanding, we'll inevitably clash with the other Yonko. It could bring harm to Totto Land's citizens."
She shifted the blame subtly toward the others. "If it weren't for the need to avoid war, Mama could extend her peace to all lands — where everyone eats, drinks, and lives equally."
Her words were deliberate — an attempt to paint Big Mom as the savior of the world.
"So," Shirogai said with a playful glint, "if the other Yonko were gone, Big Mom would bring peace to all?"
Smoothie smiled faintly, but his tone told her she'd been seen through. His Whisper-Whisper Fruit made such manipulation useless.
"At the very least, no one would go hungry," she murmured.
Shirogai nodded. "Having enough to eat has always been vital for every race… but using food to control others — that's despicable."
"Esteemed guest," Smoothie interjected with a calm smile, "perhaps you don't yet know the history of Cake Island."
She redirected the conversation smoothly, explaining the island's background as the carriage rolled to a stop.
The door opened, and Smoothie stepped out first. Chess Soldiers surrounded the enormous cake castle, their posture sharp and disciplined.
"Please," Smoothie said, opening the door for him. "Mama is waiting for you in the reception hall."
---
"Mamamama~~~ What a strong and dazzling soul! As expected, this one's as powerful as those monsters!"
Charlotte Linlin, Big Mom herself, sat within the vast reception hall, her laughter booming.
Her Soul-Soul Fruit had already sensed him — a vibrant, commanding presence akin to Whitebeard in his prime, Rocks D. Xebec, and Kaido.
"Mama looks so happy!" one of her children whispered in awe.
It was rare to see her this excited unless food or hunger was involved.
Click!
The doors opened.
Smoothie stepped forward first and bowed. "Mama, your invited guest has arrived."
Then came the man himself — tall, calm, with black hair and a faint smile.
For a moment, everyone froze.
That couldn't be him… could it?
Before anyone could speak, Big Mom rose to her full nine-meter height, her massive form towering over the hall. Her eyes sparkled with excitement.
"Mamamamama! Welcome to Totto Land,
Plunderer — Shirogai Yamikuro!"
