Wano Country trembled under the shadow of a furious god. In the distance, the sky was painted crimson by a roaring dragon that blotted out the sun. The citizens stared upward in terror, whispering amongst themselves.
"What's wrong with Kaido-sama? Didn't he already kill that enemy? Why is he still angry?"
"I don't know... they say he only destroyed a clone!"
"Bastard! Get out here!"
Kaido's drunken roar shook the land itself, his rage echoing through every mountain and village. The people of Wano huddled close, trembling at the sound.
Among the crowd, one man stood calmly, hands tucked into his coat pockets — Shirogai. His gaze drifted upward, his lips curling slightly.
"Kaido… you're really impatient."
With a faint smile, Shirogai vanished from the street, leaving not a trace of his presence.
---
Moments later, the heavens themselves answered.
"Owooo!"
A thunderous dragon's cry tore through the clouds. Countless eyes turned to the sky as black clouds spiraled violently, golden flame clouds bursting through them. Between flashes of lightning, a colossal form shimmered — scales of dark jade glinting like divine armor.
"Kaido-sama?!"
"Wait… there are two Kaido-samas in the sky?!"
High above, Kaido's furious eyes glowed from within the black clouds. His drunken sneer twisted into a scowl.
"That brat… he's copied my Devil Fruit?"
---
At Onigashima, chaos erupted.
"Oi, oi, oi! Don't joke around!" Queen bellowed, jaw hanging open as he stared at the swirling white mist. "That guy turned into an Azure Dragon?! That's Kaido-sama's unique form!"
King's eyes narrowed. "If that's true, then his Devil Fruit's power is terrifying. He might really be using that so-called Talent Fruit… the one that can mimic others."
---
Above the land of samurai, the heavens split.
"Owooo!"
The clouds parted, revealing a magnificent dragon head — wooden horns arching upward, long whiskers flowing like living tendrils of storm and flame. Black-green scales shimmered, each one radiating power.
The divine dragon's eyes locked on Kaido.
"Kaido! Take this!"
"Dragon Roar: Fire of Life!"
Crimson fire erupted from Shirogai's mouth, condensing into a massive fire dragon that tore through the sky, its jaws screaming toward Kaido.
Kaido's lips twisted into a mocking grin.
"You dare challenge me in Dragon Breath, rookie? You're a thousand years too early!"
He inhaled deeply, then roared:
"Boro Breath!"
Two titanic flames collided, splitting the heavens in a blinding explosion. Kaido's flame beam crashed against Shirogai's fire dragon — but instead of dispersing, the fire dragon spiraled around Kaido's attack, consuming it.
"What—?!"
The flames swallowed Kaido's breath whole, growing larger until it slammed into his chest.
RUMBLE!
Fire engulfed Kaido's enormous body. He rolled through the clouds, roaring in pain as the inferno burned across his scales.
"It burns! It burns so good—!"
Then his voice dropped, deep and menacing.
"Brat… who do you think you're facing?"
From the inferno, Kaido's towering Human-Beast Form emerged — muscles coiled like steel, dragon horns gleaming. He laughed drunkenly as he inhaled the remaining flames, swallowing them whole.
"Burp! Delicious!"
Wiping his mouth, Kaido grinned and pointed his kanabo toward the distant dragon.
"Shirogai! You dare copy my Azure Dragon form? That's rude, even for a pirate!"
---
"Owooo!"
The distant Azure Dragon responded. With a shimmer, Shirogai transformed — his massive draconic body condensed into a tall figure nearly Kaido's size. Six meters of lean muscle, black-green scales, and burning confidence.
Swinging his tail lazily, he stared Kaido down, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.
"You're finally sober, Kaido."
Kaido snarled, his tail lashing behind him.
"So this is your true body, huh? That clone earlier wasn't bad, but this—this I'll enjoy breaking!"
"A clone wouldn't be enough to deal with you," Shirogai said calmly. "To beat you, I need to take this more seriously."
Kaido burst into drunken laughter, tears flying from his eyes.
"Hahahahaha! You, beat me?! Don't make me laugh!"
He lunged forward, kanabo raised high.
"Drunk Dragon Bagua!"
Lightning cracked. Conqueror's Haki flared like a storm, coating the weapon in dark violet sparks.
"Drunken Thunder!"
The strike fell like divine judgment—
Bang!
Shirogai's claw, sheathed in swirling black lightning, intercepted the blow mid-air, halting Kaido's weapon in place.
"Still drunk?" Shirogai sneered. "You need a therapist, not a bottle."
His other hand crackled with Armament and Conqueror's Haki.
"Dragon Claw: Hidden Dragon, Don't Use!"
He struck Kaido square in the abdomen.
BOOM!
Kaido was sent spiraling backward, crashing through the clouds. His roar shook the heavens.
"Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!"
He glared at Shirogai, eyes wild.
"A brat who's been at sea for less than a year—how can I not crush you?! Waaah…"
And just like that, Kaido began to cry midair, his mood swinging from rage to despair.
"If I'm this weak, how can I ever become Pirate King?! Waaah…"
Shirogai's expression flattened. He didn't lower his guard; he'd learned the hard way never to underestimate Kaido — drunk or not.
The clouds trembled again.
"Waaah waaah waaah… I'm SO ANGRY!"
Kaido's body flashed, vanishing into the storm. The next instant, a massive burst of Haki thundered downward.
"Thunder Bagua!"
The air itself split as Kaido's club, wreathed in lightning and Conqueror's Haki, descended toward Shirogai like divine punishment.
Shirogai's eyes narrowed, his aura flaring as black lightning crackled across his arms.
