Ruan Chanchan took the piece of hide that Xie Daiyu showed to her and carefully took a look at it. She frowned when she noticed the dirt and the gross-looking mould under it. Even though the white mould no longer smelled, it was certainly not good for using as a bandage, and even if she tried to clean it, these hides would naturally not work; after all, Ruan Chanchan had limited resources to clean them.
"Is this how the processing teams hand out the hides to everyone in the tribe?" Ruan Chanchan asked; she was curious because she thought that the processing team would do a much better job than this. Why in the world were they cleaning the hide in such a fashion that it allowed mould to grow on the back of it?
"Darling, you are forgetting that the people of this world care the least about hygiene! They simply dry the hides under the sun, and once the blood stops bleeding, they will hand out the hides to the elders and the tribe members."
