Turning her head to one side, she glanced at the mer next to her. "Did you see anyone coming here?" The last thing she needed was some other mer dying after getting provoked by Shao Xia; she was lucky enough to save Yuan Ni—but she couldn't save someone else, could she?
If she could, then she would be a superwoman.
Yuan Ni shook his head at once. He didn't see anyone coming here. Earlier, when he went to the shore, he was quite alone, and no one followed him. As for what happened later on, after he was pushed into the river, he had no idea about it. He was too focused on saving his own life, so how could he even check his surroundings?
