"You? How?!" The young man asked in surprise, his voice trembling with a fear that he tried desperately to conceal beneath a facade of bravado, his pale skin draining of what little color remained as he backed against the cold metal wall of the spaceship's interior.
"You and I have some serious conversation to make," Aaron said as a matter of fact, his tone steady and unyielding, walking toward the young man calmly through the narrow corridor lined with flickering control panels that cast erratic shadows across the confined space.
"What are you doing? Stop him!" The young man commanded his last protector urgently, his eyes darting wildly between Aaron and the armored figure standing rigidly nearby.
But his words fell on deaf ears as the last protector remained frozen in place, his body locked in a paralysis born of sheer terror, not moving an inch, much less attempting to fight against Aaron, his weapon hanging limply at his side like a forgotten relic.
