Knowing the type of Core a person possesses isn't something one can guess randomly. The Core, located at the center of the heart, is the primary source of life essence. From there, true essence flows, entering the body through a network of delicate yet vital meridians. That essence flows, seeking its path toward the three primary dantians.
This is where the type of core is revealed. If the essence penetrates and begins to swirl within the dantian's center, the characteristic light of one's affinity will appear. From that, an experienced person can immediately assess the type of core, whether it is mana, aura, or another, rarer form.
The lower dantian resonates strongly with aura, the power of the physical body and a warrior's spirit. Meanwhile, the middle dantian absorbs and refines mana, the mystical energy and magic of the world. The most complex is the upper dantian, the center of consciousness and the mind. Typically, this dantian is naturally connected from birth, serving as a bridge between the body and soul. However, if the upper dantian does not awaken or receive a sufficient supply of essence, the being will be born with a dulled intellect. This is usually the case for weak, ordinary animals, which is why they often become prey for other races.
Then what about a Unity Core?
Is a Unity Core, connected to all three, considered irregular? No, logically, a Unity Core user should be the normal, as they can access all three.
But this topic was quickly forgotten because users of either a mana core or an aura star can reach the Sage realm, the highest realm achievable in this world. Unfortunately, they can never achieve mortal perfection, also known as the Peak Sage Realm.
There are seven realms one can achieve in 'Eldrin Chronicles', Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Master, Grandmaster, and Sage. Each realm has four stages, Early Stage, Mid Stage, Late Stage, and Peak.
Then, the Peak Sage Realm holds the qualification to become a Transcendent.
There is no deeper information about this realm, as the only source is the Spirit King's avatar, who appears only once in each route with limited dialogue.
Thus, the only information obtained is about becoming a higher-dimensional being.

Elric and Layla carefully placed Adrian's body on a bed made of soft cloth and warm straw. Adrian's breath was weak, almost inaudible, like a candle flame flickering on the verge of being extinguished by the wind.
Layla sat beside him, taking a deep breath before slowly placing her hand on Adrian's chest. Her eyes closed, aligning her mana waves with the pulse of life in her son's body. A moment of silence, and then, she felt it.
A core pulsed faintly around Adrian's heart. But that wasn't what made Layla's eyes widen slightly. It was the path the essence took from it. The essence didn't just spread to the two common dantians, but branched out to three distinct ones, lower, middle, and upper, flowing like blood from the heart to all internal organs.
"This isn't a mana or aura core," Layla whispered, more to herself.
"Its essence path connects to all three of his dantians." Layla opened her eyes slowly.
"His core is a Unity Core."
A rare type that allows someone to use both mana and aura simultaneously. In fact, only four people are known to have possessed a Unity Core. All of them were destined to be the strongest in the world.
She gritted her teeth, then looked deeply at Elric.
"If we leave him like this, his body could shatter from within. We have to help him stabilize the flow of his essence before his core completely breaks…"
"Then I'll help him stabilize it. You go get that item," Elric said in a firm tone, without a hint of hesitation.
Layla looked at him for a moment, then nodded.
"Alright," she said quickly, then turned and immediately ran out of the room.
Elric gazed at Adrian's body, lying there with heavy breaths. He clasped the boy's hand, channeling his own mana with a slow, steady rhythm, trying to calm the chaotic flow of essence. Sweat dripped from his temple as he struggled to keep the rhythm consistent.
But then, suddenly…
"Huh?" Elric murmured, his eyes widening.
Adrian's essence flow, which had been wild and uncontrollable, was now beginning to flow calmly and in an orderly fashion. But what was surprising wasn't just the stability, it was the pattern of the flow. The essence wasn't moving randomly but in a structured and complex manner, as if following a specific cultivation method.
"Elric…" Layla's voice came from the doorway.
She carried a carved wooden box that radiated a gentle aura. But her steps halted as soon as she saw Elric's expression.
"What happened?" she asked anxiously.
"His essence flow, it adjusted on its own," Elric answered, his tone a mix of confusion and awe.
"And that's not all. The flow, it's like it's following a high-level cultivation technique. Perhaps a technique meant specifically for a Unity Core."
Layla moved closer, then placed her palm on Adrian's chest. It didn't take long for her to feel it too.
"Impossible, the pattern is complex, balanced, and efficient, as if his body itself has memorized this technique since birth."
They looked at each other, and the conclusion they didn't want to voice hung in the air. Adrian didn't just have great potential, he might have brought with him the legacy of a cultivation technique of unknown origin, or perhaps the technique was embedded directly in his body, or even his soul.
Layla took a deep breath, holding back the worry that hung heavy in her chest.
"The most important thing now is that we need to use this item on Adrian. So that our son can live freely, he needs to hide all that power. At least for now, while he is still weak."
Elric nodded. "After he wakes up, we'll ask him directly. What he truly wants, and what kind of path he wishes to walk."
"Yes, as his parents, we need to make sure our son doesn't lose his way," Layla replied

After stabilizing my cultivation, I took a long breath and stood up from the bed in the barracks. This was my second day here. My body felt far lighter, as if an unseen burden had been lifted.
The essence in my core now flowed calmly and harmoniously through all my meridians, filling the three dantians with a perfect rhythm. Despite having just awoken, my body didn't feel weak. Quite the opposite, there was a strength slowly beginning to rise from within.
I walked towards the back door of the training area, where a special training room was located. According to the system's description, this room was once only accessible to those who had met certain requirements and was rumored to help one advance through the realms faster, with an artificial battle and pressure field that simulated various extreme conditions.
However, as soon as I placed my palm on the crystal plate beside the door, a transparent blue screen appeared.
[Access Denied]
I stood still.
'Don't meet the requirements?' I muttered.
And yet, I could already feel the essence flowing through my body. Even the black-star cultivation technique embedded in me was working perfectly.
But maybe that was the problem. Although my essence flow had stabilized, the system or the mechanism of this room might have other prerequisites.
I clenched my fist.
"In that case, I just have to prove that I am indeed worthy," I whispered.
'System.'
A transparent blue screen appeared before me.
