Closing his stats, Klaus opened up his mission to see what he had available.

"Damn is calling me a bitch necessary," Klaus sighed looking at the mission name.

Standing up, Klaus began stretching his body. After a few minutes, with his body feeling loose, he started his new workout in sets of ten. After the fifth set, he began to feel his body becoming sore, and his breathing became heavy.

"Damn...I'm really out of shape," Klaus said, finishing his push-ups.

Knowing that he would gain a lot from this, Klaus forced himself to continue, even through the aching pain and sweat getting in his eyes.

After another forty minutes, he finished the first part of the workout. With sweat soakign his shirt and his muclses spazzing Klaus sat on his bed out fo breath. Taking a few minutes to rest, he stood up and drank some water.

Stepping out of his apartment, Klaus placed his gun in his waist holster and began running around his neighborhood. Even though he received strange looks from others, he ignored them and kept running until his body was about to give up.

Finishing his run, Klaus began to walk back to his apartment when a woman opened a nearby convenience store. This woman and his neighbor were Alicia, a woman he had grown to know well and had dreamed over for a while, but never acted because of her abusive husband.

Walking up to her, Klaus spoke.

"Morning, Alicia...Opening for the day?"

"Good morning, Klaus. Yeah, what are you doing up so early?" Alicia asked

Looking at her dark blue hair that stuck to her sweat-covered face and white t-shirt that hugged her body tightly, Klaus could not help but pinch himself to focus.

"Just getting into a new routine. I am way too out of shape," Klaus replied with a small smile.

"Nonsense, you have a great body and are young. I should be the one working out," Alicia joked.

"That's not true, you look terrific. Perfect in my eyes at least," Klaus said, taking a lingering look at her hourglass body that filled his dreams.

"Thank you, Klaus...Only if my husband felt the same way," Alicia said in a low tone barely heard by Klaus as she looked away to pick up another crate.

As he did, Klaus noticed a purple bruise on her shoulder, barely hidden by her shirt.

"Here, let me help with that," Klaus said, moving forward and picking up the crate of milk.k

"Thanks, Klaus, you don't have to," Alicia tried to say, but Klaus still picked up the crate

As they walked into the store, Klaus placed the milk next to the fridge, while Alicia held the door for him.

"Did Mike do that?" Klaus asked, looking at the bruise

"..." Alicia didn't say anything as she looked away in shame.

"You got to leave him that piece of shit ani't good for you," Klaus added.

"It's fine, Klaus, as long as he doesn't hurt Cid. I'm fine," Alicia said with a wavering smile.

Right on cue, a young girl about ten years old walked in wearing a yellow dress with long, blue hair that matched her mother's.

"Morning, mama, hey Klaus," Cid greeted them

"What's up, Cid?" Klaus said, giving Cid a fist bump

"Good morning, sweetie, how did you sleep?" Alicia asked, giving the girl a hug

"I slept great, I even had a dream of us in space," Cid said with a large smile.

"Woah, that sounds exciting, you have to tell me about it later," Alicia said with a smile.

"Well I slept like shit...you two are fucking loud in the morning," said a large man with a perviosuly buidlt body that had become larger due to achoal and smoking abuse

"Mike, please watch your language around Cid," Alicia said with a serious expression.

"Why she is going to hear it anyways dosen't fucking matter," Mike replied taking a drag of his ciggaret.

"Still, you should watch how you talk around her," Alicia replied, taking a step forward.

"Who the hell do you think you're stepping to? I have a fucking headache I don't got time to deal with your nagging," Mike said getting pissed off.

Seeing his anger rise, Klaus was about to intervene when Alicia held her hand out and gave a head shake of no.

"What's this big tough guy standing up for my wife. What you fucking him now?" Mike asked getting pissed

"And so what if she is, you clearly don't know how to handle a woman like her. Know you, you probably got some chrome down there to function," Klaus said with a grin as he placed a hand around her waist.

"You piece of shit...You know what I don't got time for this shit," Mike said walking to the door.

"You better watch your fucking back choom,"

Once he left, Alicia broke the distance with a small laugh.

"Thank you, Klaus. I haven't seen Mike that flustered in a while," Alicia laughed.

"No problem, I hate peices of shits like him," Klaus replied

"whats a piece of shit?" Cid asked, gaining both their attention

"Oh, I meant a piece of junk, forget I said that, Cid," Kalus said, trying to distract her.

"I should get going then," Klaus said as he was about to walk away.

As Klaus was about to leave, he felt a tug on his arm.

"Klaus, be careful, Mike can be a scornful man. Please watch your back," Alicia said with a hint of fear in her voice.

"I will be fine...will you and Cid be okay?" Klaus asked

"Don't worry, I can handle it," Alicia replied

"I asked if you would be fine, not if you could handle it."

"I will see you later, Klaus," Alicia said with a smile, and she closed the door behind Klaus.

Hesitantly, Klaus walked away from the store and went back to his apartment.
