This was unprecedented in the Fourth Division's history. Kyōraku Callum wasn't sure whether to be happy or sad about it.

"Such a shame," he sighed, shaking his head. "My flower arranging skills are quite good, you know."

This peaceful period lasted for a considerable time, until a visit request arrived.

"Kyōraku-sama, this is a visit request from one of the four noble families," said Kashima Yūsuke, handing Kyōraku Callum the envelope.

Kyōraku Callum took the envelope, puzzled. "The four noble families? Which one?"

Upon seeing the family crest on the envelope, Kyōraku Callum's expression turned to one of astonishment. "The Tsunayashiro Clan?!"

The Tsunayashiro Clan, one of the four noble families of Soul Society, documenting the history of Soul Society. As keepers of Soul Society's history and intelligence, their secrecy was legendary.

However, since the ascension of the current head, Tokinada Tsunayashiro, the clan's influence had rapidly waned.

Tokinada Tsunayashiro, originally was a member of the furthest branch family, had no right to inherit the headship.

However, after orchestrating the assassinations of other potential heirs, he had inherited the Tsunayashiro Clan, becoming a powerful figure in Soul Society.

The four noble families held considerable influence in Soul Society, rivaling even the Gotei 13. The Tsunayashiro Clan, in particular, controlled the documents of Soul Society's history, giving them unparalleled access to information.

However, Kyōraku Callum didn't hold him in high regard. Ultimately, in the three worlds—the World of the Living, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo—true power dictated influence. He respected Aizen and Yamamoto Genryūsai because of their overwhelming strength, their power to destroy worlds.

But what did Tokinada Tsunayashiro possess? Just a Zanpakutō capable of replicating the abilities of others, limited by his own spiritual pressure.

Currently, he was nothing more than a schemer, a backstabbing coward.

Kyōraku Callum casually burned the letter to ashes, tossing them into the flowerbeds outside his window. The Fourth Division's flowerbeds were filled with gentians. The pale purple gentians calmed his slightly agitated mood.

He understood that since revealing his power, many eyes in Soul Society were now upon him. Besides Kenpachi Zaraki (who was still hopelessly lost trying to find the Fourth Division barracks), various Kidō corps and several divisions had extended offers. Kyōraku Callum had refused them all.

He wasn't joking. While the offers were tempting, nothing compared to the Fourth Division. He was a Vice-Captain, and Unohana Retsu was there. He wouldn't go anywhere else!

This situation, however, was different. Tokinada Tsunayashiro, using the authority of the four noble families, had requested a visit, a "friendly exchange" at Kyōraku's home. The topics of discussion, naturally, were open-ended.

"Fine, I'll meet him," Kyōraku Callum decided. "It's a chance to see what his intentions are. Until the hidden hand in Soul Society reveals itself fully, I doubt he'd dare to make a move." He was genuinely curious about Tokinada Tsunayashiro's motives.

Kyōraku Callum himself had once been ambitious, conspiring with Yoruichi Shihōin (another of the four noble families) to revive the Shiba clan, restore the five noble families, surpass the Central 46, and rule the three worlds. However, his ambition outstripped his ability, leading to failure.

Three days later. Kyōraku's home.

Kyōraku Callum waited for Tokinada Tsunayashiro's visit. Normally, a visit from a member of the four noble families to a high-ranking noble would involve a formal welcome ceremony.

However, given Kyōraku Callum's personality, the fact that Tokinada Tsunayashiro was even willing to meet him was remarkable. As for a welcome ceremony? That was laughable.

Tokinada Tsunayashiro arrived in the noble district, only to find it unchanged. Suppressing his anger, he maintained a friendly demeanor and proceeded directly to Kyōraku's home, as if visiting a casual acquaintance.

Only when Tokinada Tsunayashiro sat opposite Kyōraku Callum did he realize the man's deception skills rivaled Gin Ichimaru's.

However, their motivations differed, resulting in subtle differences in their approach. One acted out of love, the other out of ambition. Tokinada Tsunayashiro was no match for Gin Ichimaru.

"Head of the Tsunayashiro Clan, what brings you here?" Kyōraku Callum asked, his tone devoid of respect.

Tokinada Tsunayashiro felt a surge of anger but suppressed it. His moss-green hair fell over his shoulders as he smiled thinly. "Kyōraku-kun, I've come to discuss a potential collaboration between the Tsunayashiro and Kyōraku families. Don't you find this world rather dull?"

The smile lacked warmth, appearing sinister to Kyōraku Callum, like a black snake's tongue in the dark.

"I don't," Kyōraku Callum replied, shaking his head. "Besides, you should discuss this with Kyōraku-sama. I have no authority to decide on such matters."

Tokinada Tsunayashiro's expression remained unchanged, as if anticipating this response. "What if it concerns the true capabilities of the image archives?"

Kyōraku Callum raised an eyebrow. "The image archives?"

Tokinada Tsunayashiro smiled, his sinister nature fully revealed. "Though you know the archives' capabilities, let me explain. I first took notice of you when you became a Vice-Captain of the Fourth Division."

Tokinada Tsunayashiro had been monitoring significant events in Soul Society. Kyōraku Callum, a top graduate of the Shinigami Academy, had naturally come to his attention, but that was all.

However, his swift promotion to Vice-Captain increased Tokinada Tsunayashiro's interest. Through the image archives, he had observed disturbances in space and time around Kyōraku Callum, piquing his curiosity.

After extensive observation, Tokinada Tsunayashiro had finally deduced Kyōraku Callum's Zanpakutō ability, which likely involved space and time manipulation.
