"Inscribe the name on the container," he instructed. "If I recall correctly, it was… Barragan Luisenbarn!"

The Seireitei was in an uproar! All seated Captains were summoned to the First Division Captain's quarters for an emergency meeting. A Vasto Lorde-class Hollow had appeared in the World of the Living.

The near-destruction of Karakura, half the city crumbling, had thrown the area into utter chaos.

The Twelfth Division, under Captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri, was immediately dispatched to the World of the Living to restore order—repairing memories, rebuilding structures, etc.

The workload of the Gotei 13 had increased exponentially, with a massive influx of resources directed towards the Twelfth Division.

In the First Division Captain's quarters, Yamamoto Genryūsai, his expression grave, addressed the assembled Captains.

"Yesterday, a Vasto Lorde-class Hollow, or rather, a King-class Hollow, appeared in Karakura."

The Captains remained silent, their expressions varied.

"It identified itself as Barragan Luisenbarn, the self-proclaimed God-King of Hueco Mundo, ruler of the entire Hueco Mundo.

Fourth Division Vice-Captain Kyōraku Callum engaged it in fierce battle, resulting in the near-total destruction of Karakura." Yamamoto Genryūsai paused.

"Fourth Seat Kuchiki Rukia of the Thirteenth Division, stationed in Karakura, successfully evacuated the human population, preventing significant casualties".

"I believe Fourth Division Vice-Captain Kyōraku Callum should be held responsible for the incident in Karakura for a considerable period."

He closed his eyes, awaiting their responses.

"Oh my, Yamamoto-ji, no need to be so serious," Kyōraku Shunsui, his most cherished student, remarked casually, devoid of the usual formality.

"Since Callum can ensure the stability of the World of the Living, let him continue his duties there. Of course, remember to increase his compensation."

Yamamoto Genryūsai nodded. "Naturally."

"As for the Fourth Division's workload…" Unohana Retsu smiled slightly. "I can assist with the burden."

Yamamoto Genryūsai's words were merely a formality. Even the blind Tōsen Kaname knew that Fourth Division Vice-Captain Kyōraku Callum and Eighth Division Captain Kyōraku Shunsui shared a family tradition: shirking work.

As Callum would put it, it was efficient delegation.

If a Third Seat could handle it, the Vice-Captain wouldn't interfere.

However, given his strength and seniority, no one dared to object.

The matter was thus settled.

Kyōraku Callum, in the World of the Living, remained unaware that he had been "sold out" by Kyōraku Shunsui—and for a very good price.

The Captain's meeting not only discussed Callum's future assignments but also those of other divisions.

The Twelfth Division's tasks were significantly increased, with Kurotsuchi Mayuri tasked with developing a device to detect Hollows' concealed spiritual pressure.

Second Division Captain Suì-Fēng was to dedicate all her efforts to intelligence gathering.

The appearance of a Vasto Lorde-class Hollow in the World of the Living was no small matter. Had it appeared in the Seireitei instead, the damage would have been far greater.

While some Captains initially doubted Kyōraku Callum's ability to defeat a Vasto Lorde-class Hollow, Kurotsuchi Mayuri's support quickly quelled those doubts.

Furthermore, Kyōraku Callum's battle with Kenpachi Zaraki was fresh in the minds of many Shinigami, further silencing any skepticism.

In the Fifth Division Captain's office…

Aizen Sōsuke, at his desk by the window, was diligently working.

He was consistently one of the most efficient Captains in fulfilling his duties.

"Gin, what are your thoughts on this matter?" Aizen asked, turning his gaze towards the window as he put down his brush.

The scene outside was idyllic: flowers bloomed, and the squad members bustled about, a picture of harmony.

"Oh my, you're asking for my opinion?"

Gin Ichimaru, clad in a Gigai, emerged from the shadows of the room. "That's rather difficult to answer.

However, there's no need to test Callum's strength further. The Segunda Espada, Barragan, fell by his hand."

Gin Ichimaru paused, leaving the obvious conclusion unspoken.

"Tōsen, what's your assessment?" Aizen continued.

Gin Ichimaru turned, revealing Tōsen Kaname, also in a Gigai, standing behind him.

"Kyōraku Callum's strength surpasses that of ordinary Captains," Tōsen Kaname stated.

"Targeting him directly risks exposing our plans."

As a blind man, Tōsen Kaname wore protective eyewear, making it impossible to gauge his thoughts from his expression.

"Tōsen, your heart is troubled," Aizen observed, noting the subtle tension in Tōsen Kaname's posture.

"Tokinada Tsunayashiro's death is inextricably linked to Callum. Therefore, you deliberately avoid mentioning him."

Aizen's understanding of human nature was precise.

"Like pieces on a chessboard, Callum possesses superior capabilities. But he remains a piece on the board, not the player himself."

Aizen had great confidence in his Kyōka Suigetsu, though not absolute.

"More importantly, Callum's actions reveal…"
