After a few hours of travel, I finally arrived at the demon continent, traveling quickly north.
The Biegoya region where the city of Rikarisu was located to the south, the old village of Migurd to the north and the castle of Atofe to the east.
According to Kishirika, Gesee should be somewhere between these three locations, which form a triangular perimeter of about 190,000 km²...
But I had a slight advantage, since according to Kishirika Gesse, I was closer to Atofe Castle than to Migurd Village, so all I have to do now is map the area in search of that bastard monkey.
Honestly, things escalating to this point is my fault, because in these five years I had forgotten he even existed, which is why he was able to keep running and slipping away.
Was I worried? No.
With my current power, only Morgan could pose a threat to me, But I don't think that God is willing to lose his source of entertainment, is he?.
Ding!
["No coments"
"..." Yeah, I already knew that.
Furthermore, Gesse is not in any condition to fight me, not today, not ever.
All the powerful warriors in this world have either been killed by me or are members of my harem.
There is no middle ground; Emperor or King level warriors are ants even to my wives.
And if Hitogami wasn't stupid, even though he is, he wouldn't send those guys to their deaths just to try and scratch me.
Which leads me to wonder what Gesee and Hitogami are planning, and there was only one way to solve it.
I quickly reached the south of the province of Biegolla and activated my DragonFolk form to enhance my Superd eye up to 100 km around.
Atofe Castle wasn't that far away, so I decided to slow down and explore the areas for something or someone.
"Beast...Giant Spider...Demon Man..."
Unlike the great forest, here there were a large number of creatures and people of the demonic race wandering about, which made the search tedious.
But as I got closer and closer to the area of Atofe Castle, the presences became lower and lower until it was deserted again.
Looking to my right I could see a very extensive mountain range which was where my family and I went when we first arrived on the demon continent.
There was a teleportation circle in those mountains, which would be helpful in these situations if something came up.
After a couple of minutes of flying at about 100km/h, I sensed several presences gathered in one place and two presences away from them, moving towards them rapidly.
Immediately afterwards I spotted Atoferatofe Castle and couldn't help but smile like a madman.
The closer I got, the easier it was to identify who it could be, so I slowed down and used my [Illusion] ability to determine Gesse's plans.
Thus I disappeared from human sight and placed myself behind the two figures who were walking hurriedly towards the enormous castle.
Both individuals were wearing black hoods and were talking to each other.
"I already told you, you will defeat her entire guard and wound her, an arm, a foot, a finger, anything!" a voice said impatiently, and from the tone I could tell who it was.
"...I understand, but what will you do?" the other voice asked, equally skeptical.
"Didn't I tell you? The weapon that Hitogami gave me and the parchment are here, and when she's distracted we'll seal her forever!" The eager voice said excitedly, and I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in doubt.
'The weapon and the parchment?...' I was confused for a few seconds, but I knew that obviously that couldn't be anything good.
Should I stop them here?...
'Yes, I think that's most likely' I murmured to myself and quickly, using only my hands, I pierced the skull of the first hooded figure.
"W-what?! What was that?!" the other guy screamed in shock and his monkey face was immediately revealed.
"So it's you," I murmured as I looked him in the eyes and Gesee practically turned pale.
"W-who are you?!...R-Rudeus Greyrat?!" He screamed in despair as he stared at the corpse of the man beside him.
"nnngh!!" Gesee pressed his lips together and searched for something inside his robes, but I simply caught him with gravity magic and he froze in place.
"Aaagh!! What is this magic?!" He screamed in terror as he stared at me, but I didn't answer and slowly pulled him closer.
"So Hitogami is so desperate that you of all people are helping him?" I asked with a mocking smile, and Gesee gritted his teeth in anger and frustration.
"H-hitogami? W-who is that? I've never heard that name before!" Gesee tried to play dumb as a last resort, but I ignored him.
"Heh, you think I don't remember that day when you came with Gull Farion to try to kill my family?! To try to kill my wife! You think you can lie to me?!" I yelled at him while applying more pressure to his body with my gravity magic to the point where he began to bleed from his ears and nose.
"And just when Gull died...you ran away...like the damned, slippery rat you are!" I whispered in his ear, and he shuddered.
"Raaah! You bastard! You're a bastard! You ruined everything! Why don't you just die already?!" he screamed with visibly anger.
His eyes were bloodthirsty and he was breathing heavily, making him look even more pathetic.
"Now tell me why you wanted to go with Atofe," I said, and he grunted.
"And I'll tell you hell! You'll have to kill me first before you get any information out of me!" He yelled, but I just sighed.
So I used the easy method and used my [Hypnosis] skills to get the information out of you.
"Oh..." When my ability to activate him, he immediately went into a trance and began to tell me everything.
...
It turns out that Gesse has been on the run, slipping away around the world for the past five years, ever since Hitogami "discovered" my identity several years ago. Because of this, Gesse helped a heartbroken Paul form the mercenary group in Millis, where they planned to grow exponentially to attract new members and powerful individuals with the sole objective of killing me, no matter the cost.
But unfortunately, I arrived, and those plans were completely ruined.
Hitogami's original plan was to recruit Paul, Alek Kallman (father and son), Badigadi, Gull Farion, Randolph the Death God, Reida, Darius, and Atoferatofe as the final members to put an end to me.
Unfortunately, Hitogami's plans were thwarted almost as soon as they began, since I either killed them or added them to my harem. But it caught my attention that they also wanted to summon Ranfolph, since this guy is obviously against Hitogami, and yet they still want to recruit him. That only showed how desperate the faceless guy is.
"Now tell me what you're doing here," I said, and he opened his mouth like a zombie.
"We were here to set a trap for you... Atofe is hidden nearby to kill you when you're not expecting it," he said, and I could only chuckle slightly.
I looked ahead and could see Atofe's castle just a scant two kilometers away. Obviously, the place stood out tremendously, being a huge black stain in the middle of the desert and because of its sheer size.
"Heh, so an ambush, huh? And tell me, what did you plan to use against me?" I asked with a smile, and Gesse just clenched his teeth, expressionless. I had deliberately left him conscious so he would see that he himself had told me his entire plan, thus completely humiliating him, which was working perfectly.
"Nnngh... she'll be waiting for you hidden near her throne room with her five most powerful knights and a guy named Moore. They'll surround you and kill you," he said, a tear escaping his eye as he stared into space.
"Hehe..." I couldn't help but laugh at this coldly calculated "strategy" of Hitogami and Gesse.
Although it gave me valuable information, the guy was completely desperate and would try anything, and besides, he underestimated my strength completely.
"And why did you take the BeastGod's sacred treasure?" I asked, and he remained silent.
"What?...BeastGod?...What is that?" he asked, and I immediately frowned.
I increased the power of the hypnosis magic to delve into his memories, but I couldn't find anything.
He had been on the Demon Continent for two weeks, and before that, he had been hiding on the Beggarit Continent after being banished and nearly killed for trying to enter the Sacred Land of the Sword.
Honestly, this made me feel bad for this poor bastard, but only a little. Even so, the fact that he wasn't involved in the theft of the sacred treasure complicates things considerably and could even be a sign of a new enemy.
I should tell Lunaria this immediately, but right now I had to finish the problem I had at hand.
"Good boy," I said, and immediately broke the hypnosis.
"..." Gesee immediately fell silent, as if the life had been drained from his body, or perhaps he was simply too humiliated to say anything.
"When you see Hitogami, give him my regards," I said with a smile. His eyes widened, and he gritted his teeth, struggling with all his might.
"N-no! Please! Don't you understand? You have to die, or he will!" I didn't even let him finish before his head fell away from his body, blood gushing from it.
I immediately incinerated his body, and it turned to ash in less than a second, the ashes scattering through the air.
Using my Superd Eye, I could easily sense six relatively powerful individuals in one spot in the middle of the castle.
That was my ambush, and boy, was it poorly placed.
So, simply out of pity, I went there to "fall" into the ambush and give them a little satisfaction, if you could call it that.
Furthermore, I looked inside Gesse's robe and found an empty scroll and a golden dagger—clearly a decoy. Even so, I couldn't find what was preventing Kishirika's vision from pinpointing him, but that no longer mattered.
So, I quickly flew toward the castle, transforming into my DragonFolk form to further enhance my presence.
*kroooom!*
I crashed into the middle of the room, creating a crater in the floor and raising clouds of dust.
"W-what?!"... The guards immediately jumped and drew their swords as I looked at the presences of the six, who, upon arriving, fluctuated wildly, one of them lunging at me.
"Haaa!!!..." Atofe, the blue-skinned demon, lunged forward with her enormous sword aimed directly at me, but upon seeing me, she immediately paled.
She lost momentum from her flight and fell, crashing heavily against a wall.
"Lady Atofe!!"
"Haaa!!" Immediately Moore and four guys in black armor rushed towards me with murderous intent.
Obviously, I did the only thing I had to do, which was to defend myself, or so I thought.
Immediately, a god-level barrier formed around me that would nullify my mana, and the others entered it with their weapons drawn.
"Die, bastard!!" One of the knights shouted, and his sword swung swiftly towards me.
"Everyone stop! Don't go on! Stop!!" Atofe shouted desperately as she climbed out of the wall she had crashed into.
"W-what?!"
"Lady Atofe, what are you talking about?!!"
"Fear not, Lady Atofe, we can defeat him!"
"His magic is sealed, he's defenseless, we can win!!"
One by one the knights of Atofe began to protest against it, but the demon woman just looked at me in horror, as if she were seeing death itself.
Even so, she remained silent, clenched her teeth, and her eyes widened as she stared at me. Immediately, her body began to tremble, her wings flapped, and she soared into the air. The barrier instantly dissolved as she fell at my feet, kneeling and plunging her sword into the ground.
"P-please, sir! I-I had no idea! I had no idea! I was deceived! I was deceived! Please spare my life!" she cried, her voice breaking, her face pressed to the ground as if performing a Japanese dogesa.
"Please spare my life!!"
