"Grandpa! Great-grandpa! That commander forced me to badmouth you earlier, I swear I didn't mean it, I—"
Before the small-time leader could finish pleading, Kazama incinerated him into nothingness.
"The Daimyo of Mizu no Kuni (Land of Water) has gone too far! Kazama-sama, just give the word, and I'll lead a team to assassinate him right now!"
Orochimaru was fuming after Mizu no Kuni's two sieges on Oto no Kuni, practically itching to tear the Daimyo apart.
"Killing this Daimyo will just lead to another one taking his place. That doesn't solve the root of the problem," Kazama replied calmly.
"Then what's your plan?" Orochimaru asked, puzzled by Kazama's words.
"Simple. Instead of killing the Daimyo, I'll control him."
Kazama already had a plan: use Beppin Tennin (Otherworldly God) to bend the Daimyo to his will.
Once that was done, he'd have the entire Mizu no Kuni under his thumb.
Just as Kazama was about to head to Mizu no Kuni, he received a message from Obito.
It turned out that Han, the Five-Tails Jinchuriki, was currently in Mizu no Kuni.
"Well, isn't this just perfect? I'll kill two birds with one stone!"
With that, Kazama ordered Zabuza and Haku to join him on the trip to Mizu no Kuni.
Since both had been ninjas from Mizu no Kuni's Kirigakure (Village Hidden in the Mist), they knew the lay of the land well.
However, as renegade ninjas, Zabuza and Haku were wanted fugitives in Mizu no Kuni.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, Kazama had them disguise themselves.
"Kazama-sama, that palace up ahead is the Mizu no Kuni royal palace. The Daimyo lives there," Haku said.
It didn't take long for Kazama and his group to reach the outskirts of the palace.
"The Daimyo of Mizu no Kuni is a cruel man, so he's made a lot of enemies. The palace's defenses, inside and out, are airtight. Sneaking in quietly might be a bit tricky," Zabuza warned.
"Sneaking into a palace? What's so tricky about that? Follow me!"
Before Zabuza could finish, Kazama strode boldly toward the palace's main entrance.
"Kazama-sama!"
Zabuza's eyes widened in shock as Kazama headed straight for the front gate.
"Isn't this just begging to get caught? How is this sneaking?!"
But Zabuza and Haku didn't dare disobey Kazama's orders, so they reluctantly followed, bracing themselves.
"Halt! You lot look suspicious. What are you doing at the Mizu no Kuni royal palace?" a guard barked.
"Mangekyo Sharingan!"
Just as Zabuza and Haku braced for a fight with the palace guards, they noticed something strange.
The guard, who had been snarling at them moments ago, was now bowing respectfully to Kazama.
"What's going on?"
Zabuza was baffled until he caught sight of Kazama's Mangekyo Sharingan.
Then it clicked—the guard was under Kazama's genjutsu.
"Take us to the Daimyo's chambers. If anyone asks, say the Daimyo summoned us," Kazama ordered.
"Yes, sir!"
Seeing how effortlessly they waltzed into the palace, Zabuza was in awe of Kazama.
"Kazama-sama's Mangekyo Sharingan is seriously handy. He can go anywhere like it's nothing!"
As Zabuza and Haku marveled, the guard led them to the Daimyo's private chambers.
"Lord Daimyo, the guests you summoned have arrived," the guard announced.
"What the hell? When did I summon anyone? Unless… did one of my ministers send me more beauties? Let them in!"
When Kazama and his group entered, the Daimyo didn't even spare them a glance.
His attention was elsewhere—his chambers held dozens of bound, innocent women, and the Daimyo was tormenting them one by one..
