Chapter 68: Party Time
Three Weeks Later
"Mmm… this may be a problem." Harry was getting ready for the Ministry party when he saw something concerning while looking at himself in the mirror.
He had taken note of the red rings that had appeared around his irises after the ritual he performed using his aunt as an ingredient, but it hadn't been too noticeable back then.
However, the several rituals he performed after that had made the red in his eyes much more apparent. At this point, it would be impossible for people not to see it.
For those who were knowledgeable about black magic, red eyes were a clear indication that the person had been performing extremely dark rituals on themselves, mostly those that involved human sacrifice.
"I cannot go into the Ministry looking like this." He would be immediately arrested. "Mmm… oh, I know."
He was about to leave the bathroom when his house-elf poked his head inside.
"M-Master…" The little creature he had recently purchased was extremely nervous and was always shaking for some reason.
But it wasn't annoying enough for Harry to consider returning it and getting another one, since it had not been easy to purchase this elf, considering that they could only be sold to adult wizards and must be registered under their name.
Harry had to go through some less-than-legal routes to acquire this one, and it could be especially difficult for him to get another one, considering that the seller was now dead.
"Blinx… what is it now?" Harry asked.
"M-Master, guests k-keep yelling at me… I-I think they wish to leave," the elf said.
"Of course, they wish to leave. They are prisoners…" Harry sighed. This house-elf seemed to be lacking any sort of common sense. "But they cannot leave under any circumstance, you hear me?"
"Y-Yes, Master!" the elf exclaimed.
"Good. Did you remember to feed them?"
"I did, Master!"
Harry nodded. "Go clean the house or something. I have important things to do."
The elf disappeared in a hurry while Harry made his way to the basement of the house.
This had been a pleasant surprise during his first exploration of the property.
Lucius Malfoy had built a small holding area that was well designed to keep a maximum of three people as prisoners.
If he had to guess, the Malfoy Lord had used it for something sexual, given some of the tools he had found in this room.
Harry didn't have those inclinations, but the cells were already being put to good use.
Two of the three cells were currently occupied by a couple of muggles he had captured the previous week.
One of them was a strong-looking middle-aged man, while the other was a young Asian woman in her early twenties.
"I hope my accommodations are not too unpleasant," Harry said as he entered.
The two of them immediately turned their attention to him and began screaming at him to let them go.
Harry responded by using his wand on the young woman, blasting her with a Cruciatus Curse that promptly shut them both up.
"There will be no yelling in this place. I have little tolerance for loud noises," Harry warned them.
This time, they listened.
"Please… let us go. We won't tell the police." The middle-aged man said.
"I will let you go very soon." Harry answered the man's lie with another one. "For now, I need something from you." He was looking at the man.
The young woman was whimpering on the floor of her cell.
"W-what is it?" the man asked with hesitation.
"Your glasses." Harry pointed at them.
The man was wearing a pair that reminded him of his old ones, the ones he discarded after recovering his eyesight.
"Huh?…" The middle-aged man had certainly not been expecting such a request.

Harry looked at himself in the mirror once more.
"Much better." Covering the red circles with a spell directly applied to his eyes was unfortunately not possible. Given the nature of those circles, no magic would be able to cover them.
However, placing something over them was a possibility.
Harry had enchanted the glasses to only show his normal green eyes.
Everyone looking at him would fail to notice anything strange about the glasses or his eyes.
The next step was to get himself dressed in the clothes he had purchased during his visit to Diagon Alley.
Harry looked at the time. He only had a few minutes left before leaving, so he checked himself over once and made sure he had everything he needed for tonight.
This was going to be his best chance to secure that book he so much needed. Nothing could stop him from getting what he wanted...he would make sure of that.
His last black collar was also secured under his new robes. Either Susan Bones or her aunt Amelia would be good targets for this one.
Although Harry had the feeling that Amelia Bones would be even more difficult to bend to his will than Lucius Malfoy had been. And the man died while trying to resist his control, so perhaps he should focus his efforts on the young girl instead.
As long as he could control Susan, her aunt should also be at his mercy.
"I'm sure there is still much to gain from this Ministry of Magic. Who knows what other dark secrets they have been keeping inside those walls?"
It was only a matter of time before it all became his.
"Blinx. I'm going to a party. Make sure to keep my guests in line and don't let them go anywhere."
"Yes, Master!" the house-elf exclaimed.
Harry took the invitation in between his fingers and walked out of the wooden cabin.
He then waited for a couple more minutes. Once the time was right, the invitation turned into a portkey that he used to enter the Ministry of Magic.
'Time for the party.'
