"Bia, why don't you convince her to consider not becoming a hero? It's still not too late. I can escort her back to our home. She could alternatively stay within our sect branch here in the city while we're on hero missions." He continued, while staring at the black haired lady seated in the carriage seat opposite him, who slightly resembled him.
"Yes, lady Bia, please convince my mother. She does not need to put her life at risk just for me."
The mech-like runedroid called David added, with a concerned voice.
"I'm fine. I have a few life saving items on my body. Not even someone at my father's level can take my life easily. Besides, I won't be fighting much, since my little David here is pretty strong himself, so I'll probably go unnoticed by the corpse race." The lady called Daisy replied nonchalantly, while still looking at the screen in front of her.
"Let her be. I'm here as well. If she can't handle herself, I'm willing to help." The lady called Bia replied confidently. It seemed she was pretty confident in herself.
"Okay sis. But be careful, Daisy. I don't want to be questioned by your parents, for leading you astray in the future." Mon Dupa replied, with a sigh of depression. He already knew before asking Daisy what her answer would be, but he still had to try anyway.
After speaking, the group of four soon heard knocking on the door of their carriage. Hearing the knock, Mon Dupa quickly stood up and walked out of the carriage.
What greeted Mon Dupa as he exited the carriage and stepped on the grass below, were two gate guards. Looking at Mon Dupa, they quickly greeted him. One of them then asked him politely. "Hello, Mr. Dupa. We've done this many times before, so I'll be brief. Are you carrying anyone with you today? If so, how many?"
"Hello officers, glad to meet you two again. I'm currently with two passengers. We're heading back to our home here in the city. Their information is currently confidential, so please do me a favor." Mon Dupa smiled dashingly at the two before replying to them slowly.
"Gladly! Thanks for serving our city sir." One of the guards replied with a smile. The two then bowed to him and said in unison. "Please enjoy your time within the city. Have a great day!" Before moving to the side, to allow Mon Dupa to leave with his carriage.
Hearing their words, Mon Dupa smiled, then bowed back at them, before going back into his carriage.
After sitting down, he whistled softly to himself. After his soft whisper, the beast in front of his carriage started moving forward through the gates on its own. After entering the gates, it quickly picked up speed, and disappeared into the horizon within minutes.
