Before Hiruzen could respond, a man with silver hair and a stern expression stepped forward—Hatake Fūka, Kyūjō's father.
It was obvious from the way Fūka stood that he was a traditional shinobi—calm, dignified, and forged by the war eras. But his gentleness toward his wife still peeked through.
Turning to Suzune, he gently said, "Suzune, let Hokage-sama finish."
She rolled her eyes and stepped back, though her worried gaze remained fixed on Hiruzen.
Meanwhile, Tachibana Kyūjō quietly observed his new parents with Infinity Perception, until his attention drifted to another figure in the room—a young boy with white hair and a ridiculously handsome face.
Wait... Kakashi?
No… not yet. That was Hatake Sakumo, his older brother.
Should I... rebuild a family bond?
Kyūjō wasn't sure yet. But before he could give it real thought, Hiruzen finally withdrew his hand, a conflicted look lingering on his face.
Suzune immediately stepped forward and scooped Kyūjō into her arms, holding him with maternal warmth and relief.
Hiruzen didn't mind. He understood a mother's instincts. Instead, he turned to address the head of the Hatake Clan—Fūka.
"This child…"
He paused, choosing his words carefully.
"For now, I haven't observed anything too abnormal. Chūnin Ryōta reported an unusual reaction to Lightning Chakra… but I couldn't detect any clear signs of Kekkei Genkai or chakra deviation."
He turned to Ryōta, softening his tone. "I'm not saying you were wrong, Ryōta. It could be that the child is simply too young. If there is a Kekkei Genkai, it may not have fully manifested yet."
The medic nodded slowly, still unsure.
"But one thing is certain," Hiruzen continued, turning back to Fūka. "This boy's physique is exceptional. Extremely healthy and sturdy. I'd say... he's perfect for inheriting the Hatake family's sword style."
He smiled lightly. "With Sakumo's potential and this child's promise, the Hatake Clan—and the Hidden Leaf—have a bright future ahead."
"Remember this…"
Hiruzen turned toward the gathered shinobi, his voice rising with purpose.
"Where the leaves fall, the fire will continue to burn. And that fire will guide the next generation... until new leaves sprout once again."

As always, the Third Hokage's words stirred every soul in the room.
Even the medical ninja—who'd earlier been panicking—now looked ready to draw a kunai and charge into battle for Konoha's future.
Only one person in the room remained completely unmoved by the speech…
