Chapter 233 - Zenin Kyūjō

Chapter 1 – Zenin Kyūjō

Somewhere in the depths of chaos, a colossal storm of raw energy raged endlessly, stretching across light-years like a devouring maw.

After spending centuries away from the world of Bleach, Tachibana Kyūjō found himself pulled into the heart of this monstrous energy vortex.

He resisted with all his might, but in the face of such overwhelming force—enough to obliterate entire worlds—he was no more than a speck of dust. Fragile. Powerless. Torn apart in an instant, his very existence scattered into pieces...

Just as his consciousness was about to dissolve completely, a familiar golden glow enveloped his soul.

And then... it vanished into the storm.

— — —

This was a world utterly unknown to him.

Here, uncontrollable human emotions gave birth to Cursed Energy.

And when hatred and malice accumulated in great quantity, they took form—manifesting as grotesque beings known as Cursed Spirits.

Creatures born from negative emotions, driven by vengeance and spite. And once they were born, they actively hunted humans.

The ones who stood against them were known as Jujutsu Sorcerers—those who trained to exorcise and seal these Curses.

Among them, three clans carried a deep-rooted history within the world of Jujutsu.

They were called the Three Great Clans.

And today, one of those clans—the Zenin Clan—welcomed the birth of a child who would one day shake the very foundation of this world...

Though that moment of celebration wasn't shared by the child's father—Zenin Ogi—whose face was twisted with visible displeasure.

At his side stood Zenin Naobito, current head of the family and his elder brother, who raised an eyebrow at Ogi's attitude.

"Ogi," Naobito said with a sigh, "try to be a bit more optimistic. So what if Kyūjō doesn't have a remarkable amount of Cursed Energy? That doesn't mean he can't become a powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer. You of all people should know—what matters most in this world... is Innate Techniques."

— — —

In the world of Jujutsu, Cursed Energy was a destructive force born from negative emotions. While nearly everyone possessed it, only a select few could manipulate it consciously.

Most Jujutsu Sorcerers were born with an Innate Technique—a unique power encoded within their soul. By channeling Cursed Energy into that technique, they could perform powerful feats of sorcery.

These techniques could sometimes be inherited, which made bloodlines—and clans—extremely important.

The Zenin Clan, known for their strict traditions and obsession with strength, sought to preserve and enhance their lineage by breeding only the most talented individuals.

That was how they rose to power, claiming two of the strongest inherited techniques known today: the Ten Shadows Technique and Projection Sorcery.

But this came at a price.

The Zenin Clan was also infamous for its rigid hierarchy—one that placed overwhelming importance on raw power and patriarchal bloodlines.

Their creed was cruelly clear: "Those without Jujutsu are not Zenin. Those without Techniques are not human."

Anyone born into the clan without an Innate Technique, or worse, without the ability to see Curses, would be branded worthless.

This... was the Zenin Clan of today.

— — —

"Besides," Naobito added, "just look at Kyūjō's face. Silver hair, glowing eyes… If I didn't know better, I'd think he was a direct descendant of the Gojo family—someone with the Six Eyes."

The moment he mentioned Gojo Satoru, the current genius of the Gojo Clan, Naobito let out a long sigh.

"That boy's already thirteen, isn't he? It's only a matter of time before he's hailed as the Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer…"

In the world of Jujutsu, possessing the Six Eyes practically guaranteed supremacy. It was a belief shared by the entire community.

Since that boy's birth, many once-feared sorcerers had gone into hiding, terrified to provoke the one who stood at the top.

Though Naobito's words were somewhat reassuring, Ogi's expression remained bitter.

Because he had already tasted disappointment—twice.

Tachibana Kyūjō was his third child.

Before him came a pair of twin daughters: Zenin Maki and Zenin Mai.

And in this world… twins were rarely seen as a good omen.

To Ogi, they were nothing but failures.

Maki was born almost completely devoid of Cursed Energy. She couldn't even see Cursed Spirits without special tools. No technique. No future.

Mai had slightly more potential, but still lacked any inherited technique.

To Ogi, they were stains on his reputation.

Please… let this boy be different, he thought, praying quietly.

— — —

Meanwhile, the soul that once shook entire worlds had been reborn as a baby.

Tachibana Kyūjō—now Zenin Kyūjō—lay silently in his cradle, listening to the conversation around him with wide, confused eyes.

"Jujutsu Sorcerers? Cursed Energy? Cursed Spirits…?"

"What kind of world is this...? I've never even heard of this before. Is this from an anime I didn't get to watch before I died…?"

Still dazed, he reached out with his senses.

The Cursed Energy flowing through the people around him… felt weak. Pathetically weak.

"…Seriously? Is the power level in this world this low?"

"Or is the Zenin Clan just garbage?"

If this world was chosen at random, there was no guarantee it even had a real power system.

Hell, for all he knew, he could've been reincarnated into a peaceful world with no supernatural power at all.

But even if this place did have some sort of power… it clearly wasn't on the same scale as the ones he'd experienced before.

So Kyūjō turned his perception inward.

Despite the limitations of his infant body, his spiritual soul remained intact. The patterns etched into his old body were gone, but his essence was unchanged.

He attempted to activate his Infinity Perception System—one of his core skills—but in this weak physical vessel, it barely functioned.

Right now, he could only detect movement within a radius of 500 meters.

His future prediction ability? Lasted only a few seconds.

Still, that didn't bother him.

As his body grew, his perception would return. The key was training.

His potential in this world would depend entirely on what kind of power he could cultivate here.

— — —

But then… he realized something else.

The Reiryoku he once wielded—the spiritual pressure from the world of Shinigami—was completely gone.

He wasn't surprised. This world didn't operate on Reishi like Bleach did.

It only had Cursed Energy, and that energy was born from emotions, not the soul.

So of course… spiritual pressure couldn't exist here.

Even Chakra wouldn't form.

Without the natural energy of the Naruto world, there was no way to develop Chakra pathways or molds.

"…Fair enough."

But then came the biggest shock—

Even Haki, a power that should have relied purely on personal will and training, refused to awaken.

Lying in his crib, Zenin Kyūjō could only blink, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Don't tell me… the only system available here is this disgusting thing called Cursed Energy?"

"Or maybe… I'll have to learn how to breathe properly again?"

He sighed internally.

Still, curiosity got the better of him. He tapped into the flow of energy in his body.

It was weak. Raw. Tainted.

Unlike the clean energies of Chakra or Haki, this one reeked of malice—like it had been born from hatred itself.

A frown formed on the baby's face.

"…So this is Cursed Energy—born from negative emotions."
