Chapter 110 - Chapter 110: Summon Again the Lord of Dimension!

After leaving Washington, the turmoil caused by the merging of Limbo and the Earthly world finally came to an end.

Whether it was a human accidentally stepping into Limbo or a demon straying onto Earth, there were now ways to deal with it.

As the process of merging the two worlds drew to a close, random dimensional rifts became fewer, and space slowly returned to stability.

"Blind postponement."

Inside the Temple in New York.

Aron shook his head and stepped toward the door. If it hadn't been for Tony's phone call, he estimated he would have already finished summoning evil at this point.

"Now I have…"

"The demonic power of Limbo, the hellish energy of the Blazing Hell, the shadow energy from the Shadow Dimension…"

"And… the power of the Morning Star from the DC universe. Lucifer's power."

"Wait a minute!"

"DC world!"

Aron suddenly stopped.

He realized something serious.

Earlier, when the Ancient One had spoken to him about dimensional fusion, he hadn't paid much attention. At that time, it seemed like mere theory.

But now, with Limbo truly fused with Earth, Aron had to consider which dimension might be next.

According to the words of the Ancient One:

The prerequisite for dimensional fusion is to possess the power of that dimension.

And Aron currently possessed a total of four forces.

The first three belonged to different dimensions within the Marvel universe.

But the fourth…

"Could it be that because of the power of the Morning Star, the DC world and the Marvel universe will merge!?"

He thought of impossible images: Batman against Iron Man, Darkseid against Thanos…

The more he thought, the more the theory took on a sinister tone.

Lucifer Morning Star, the one who had given him power… could it be that he had foreseen all of this from the start?

"…"

Aron fell silent.

Then he slowly raised the milk tea from the table and took a sip.

He felt a wave of dopamine, the simple satisfaction brought by the sweet taste.

In the end, he came to the conclusion:

"Nothing to say."

"If the sky falls, those at the top will hold it up."

"And how could those two dimensions possibly merge so easily…"

He shook his head.

The reason Limbo had fused with Earth was because he became the Lord of Limbo and absorbed enough demonic power.

If there were ever to be a merging of the DC and Marvel universes…

"I estimate I'd have to swallow half the energy of the entire DC universe."

The more he thought about it, the more absurd the idea seemed.

If it ever reached that point, fusion would be nothing special, because even the gods of DC and Marvel, including the One Above All, would probably be lining up to light his cigarette.

"Step by step."

"You can't choke on food."

Aron decided to continue with the summons.

Big matter or not, dimensional fusion was not a reason to abandon the path toward greater power.

...

Through one of the temple's doors, Aron teleported to the summoning location designated earlier by the Ancient One, the peak of Makalu.

He once again stepped onto the snowy mountaintop. The scorched traces from when he had summoned the Hell Demon were still visible.

"I really miss that time." Aron couldn't help but sigh.

How naïve the demons had been then, so easily deceived. But now…

Whether it was Mephisto and his hell, Lucifer and his domain, or even Hades whose realm he had yet to visit… if he asked any demon whether they knew Aron or Mord, the answer would be the same: "Demonic fraudsters!!"

"Sometimes it's not good to be too famous." Aron pulled out the papyrus the Ancient One had given him at the very beginning.

On it were hieroglyphs he still didn't understand, but that didn't matter.

"I summon the Dimensional Lord recorded on this papyrus — Quaggs!"

To avoid mistakes, he clearly stated that he was summoning that very Quaggs from the parchment, not some other variant from parallel worlds.

And then the Voice of the Heavenly Law began to echo.

Almost instantly, space at the summit of Makalu began to tremble!

At the same moment, the Ancient One, who was in Kamar-Taj, suddenly turned her head toward the mountain.

"Supreme Sorcerer, has something happened?" Strange, whose hands were covered with frostbite, asked her. He had just returned from icy Everest, where he had been mastering teleportation.

After learning his first spell of life, Strange felt like he was opening the door to an entirely new world. Before that, there had been only words and promises, but now, real power and understanding.

"I will learn magic!" he kept repeating to himself. "I want to become stronger! Only then can I help Satana… help Aron. Only then can I take revenge on Kaecilius…"

He didn't know that Casillius, the one he wanted revenge on, was in fact the very one he called Satan.

But that was secondary. His diligence was sincere, and his motivation was twofold.

"Nothing, just continue practicing," the Ancient One said curtly, shaking her head and closing her eyes again.

...

Meanwhile, at the summit of Makalu, Aron once again spoke Quaggs' true name.

As before, space quivered, then distorted.

On the snowy plateau, tentacles began to appear, grotesque and twisted.

Some as thick as trains, others as thin as children's fingers.

They burst out of space itself, pulsating with unnatural energy, and the sight was so horrifying it could drive weaker minds insane.

"Shouldn't this be Cthulhu?" Aron's face stiffened, and his hand instinctively moved toward the pocket where he kept dozens of exorcism talismans.

"When I banished the first demon of hell, the system gave me a reward for the achievement. The second time, when I expelled the demon from the Shadow Dimension. According to that pattern… the third reward should come when I banish a Dimensional Lord."

He felt excitement.

This summoning, whether or not he succeeded in obtaining Quaggs' power, had its purpose.

The system's reward was enough motivation.

Holy Soul. The Voice of the Heavenly Law. Everything he had gained so far was of immeasurable importance.

"I don't know what the third reward will be…" he murmured, while looking at the tentacles already enveloping the entire mountaintop.

Some rose toward the sky, blocking clouds and light.

The boundary between the real world and that twisted realm was fading more and more.

And then…

A strange bronze gate suddenly appeared before him.
